This comfortable rural house is located in the village of Lindoso, in the heart of the Peneda Gerês National Park, Alto Minho region. The village of Lindoso is well known for its Medieval Castle and one of the largest clusters of typical granite granaries (”espigueiros”). This is an old stone house next to an old water mill. Both have been rebuilt in harmony with the traditional architecture of the region. It is an invitation to enjoy the peace and the landscapes of the rural environment. DESCRIPTION: One double bedroom with a bathroom (shower). Living/dining room with TV. Equipped with stove, microwave, coffee machine and fridge. Bed linens, towels, and products for breakfast included. Central heating, private parking and a small private area outside. The house has a pellet fireplace .

Cosy & private, this is my home, where I live, which I occasionally share when away. The apartment’s fully equipped, with all the comfort of a residence lived in daily. Ideal for those seeking tranquility, a central location, close transport, a space with soul and stories + AC, washing machine, free parking and a work station. The owners of Casa Boletus are the couple Sonia and Álvaro and their children Gil and João, 10 and 8 years old, who currently reside in Brazil and therefore have established a partnership with Azevim Nature of the family Sofia, Henrique for the management of the house. We will work to establish a harmonious relationship with our guests so that they can enjoy and benefit from the experience of being in one of the most charismatic places in Portugal within the National Park of Peneda-Gerês.

The Wind Mill

Beautifully located in hills overlooking the Atlantic Ocean sits the Marinhas windmill. The windmill dates from the year 1758 and was built in the traditional northern Portuguese style with circular walls, two floors, an entrance on the grown floor and two windows on the upper floor. It is classified as a municipal heritage building. The mill is 130 meters above sea level thus providing a breathtaking view over the towns and ocean and a unique retreat for the more adventurous guest.

This is a unique space, with stunning views of the waterfall and surrounding nature. Ideal for a weekend of adventure! Come prepared for poor cellular network and slow Wi-Fi, as the location is isolated. On the other hand, the sound of nature takes on a fantastic dimension, with the river water and birds surrounding us completely. Access is made (in the last 500 meters) by land and it is necessary to pay attention to the directions we provide so that you do not get lost.
