Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Penonomé District

This home was perfect! In a luxury, private peaceful gated community of Buenaventura. Home was exactly what we were looking for while celebrating our 25th anniversary. You can lounge by the backyard pool or walk 50 feet and play in the hotel pool! Very well stocked kitchen. Comfy beds and last but not least it always so reassuring to have a good host that you can rely on. Sandra and Esi were just that!

It was a joy and privilege to stay in Humberto’s home. Having booked the home for a last minute getaway with my family of 7, we were all surprised to find it so very beautiful, spacious, tasteful and clean. As a previous Airbnb Superhost and frequent user of Airbnb, my standards are relatively high and Humberto’s home exceeded my expectations.

Booked this gorgeous house for the weekend to celebrate my Mom’s birthday, and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. The place was spotless, exactly like the photos, and in a lovely gated community that felt super safe. Just a short spin from the beach, and the amenities were absolutely class — everything we needed and more. Tatiana & Heyler were brilliant hosts, always quick to respond and really easy to deal with. We were even able to check out a bit later, which was a lovely bonus. Thanks again for helping make my Mom’s birthday so special — we had a beautiful stay. Would 100% recommend!

The cozy house, perfect for a group of friends with their families, each room has its own bathroom and therefore we all had enough privacy. The spacious common areas are ideal for children, with all the amenities, the beach super close... We'd go back

Great location and place to spend with the family.

This was our 2nd stay at this same rental. Obviously that says something. We'll be back next year. Loved the pool, loved the fruit trees. Lots of birds. Secluded area allows bird watching. Nice sunsets.

We really enjoyed the house, it is very well equipped for cooking, hammocks for resting, swimming pool in front of the house garden, very clean, very cozy and pleasant. The spectacular saltwater pool, the beach is close and you can walk. Eduardo was very attentive, very kind and was flexible with the arrival time and departure time. Excellent host! We would definitely stay at this villa again.

Janos was super attentive and attentive to what we requested. I recommend the place, only that the restaurant area is very small and we did not find enough variety, we had to move to goodness that has more food options, otherwise everything is excellent

I was for business and a little sightseeing. The apartment is better than the pictures. My wife and I had a very comfortable few days. Tania was always attentive and pending. Highly recommended

It was a very nice and comfortable stay at the Villa Decameron suite. Everything was clean and organized well, suite is looking same as on the listing pictures. The area is beautiful. Lia is a wonderful caring Host, always in contact and helpful when needed. We love to come back there in future.

Very peaceful place, right on beach

The photos of the view really don’t do it justice. It’s the perfect spot, with access to several amenities. Can’t wait to be back! We’ve booked a couple difffent ones in this community and this is by far the cleanest, and best stocked one

The apartment is very comfortable and its kitchen is very spacious. We've been to other Airbnb places and this one has the most comfortable beds and sheets, hotel quality. Suitable for families or large groups. You don't have to drive to get to the beach club, as it's close, but the noise doesn't reach the apartment.

Very good place, the house is comfortable is well equipped, very clean and located close to both beach clubs (not walking distance, but if close). The whole check-in process and super clear instructions.

Everything is very nice, cozy and impeccable and with a very good location, the truth of the white beach we really liked it, I recommend it!

Its not the first time we stay in Buenaventura, We love the peace this place can give us. However, we had a birthday weekend planned with friends and needed a place to have dinners, and BBQs, but the House rules are very strict which made us change the entire plan of our birthday celebration because we couldn't have dinner in the house. Even after explaining the reason for the rental and that everyone else was staying at another apartment near by and that we were all responsible adults, he expressed that there were many fines that could be paid if we went along with the dinner plan. Overall a very nice place to stay and everything is very nice, I understand the rules in order to maintain it the way you found it, but if you are planning to have a get together or birthday dinners .. This is not the place. But if you want peace, than it should be a Perfect fit. We did not mean to destroy anything at all, we just wanted a place to get together to have dinner and sing HBD. Such a little treasure in Buenaventura. Will definitely book again. Very well stocked kitchen and so beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed calling this place home for a few nights!

We had a lovely, peaceful stay in Philip's apartment. It is ample and comfortable and had everything we needed. The balcony overlooks the pool area and you see and hear the ocean just beyond. We went for long walks on the beach and swims in the ocean. It is a beautiful stretch of beach there. We will definitely go back!

Our stay in Rapha's apt was spectacular. The apartment is super comfortable to be with a family, it is very well equipped and very clean. They also have details that make you feel at home, like a baby chair, plates, glasses, etc. We loved the place, the apartment and the attention we received from Rapha! We will definitely come back and recommend it 100%.

Incredible stay, the apartment has a privileged location and with a beautiful view of the sea. Going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the background waves is priceless. In addition, the apartment has everything you may need during your stay. We will definitely be back.
