Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Pico Island

No words can describe our experience at this amazing vila. It was absolutely amazing: the house itself is very well located, the views are stunning. Marcos and Diana were very helpful in everything we needed. Pico island is an amazing place on earth and to get to know the island like we did was only possible with this 5 star accommodation. We chilled, we had swims in the infinity pool, had great barbecues…I will be back for sure. Thanks to all the staff and especially to Marcos for all the hospitality and kindness.

Top Unterkunft, sehr sauber und ordentlich sowie super praktikabel eingerichtet. Alles vorhanden, Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Parkplatz direkt vor der Haustür. Ruhige Lage, guter Ausgangsort um die Insel mit dem Auto zu erkunden. Paulo war immer sehr gut erreichbar - Check-In lief problemlos. Klare Empfehlung unsererseits.

Great view, modern and well equipped house. Each bedroom has an own bathroom which is great + everything looks like in the pictures. The host was very flexible with the check-in and there were some welcome snacks and water upon arrival. We would come back :)

La maison a été rebâtie suivant le style ancestral. C'est très joli et réussi. Les animaux de la ferme, les oeufs de canard, poule et dinde qu'ils nous ont fait goûtés ont été bien appréciés. Les hôtes nous ont donné plein d'information utile et ils répondaient rapidement à nos messages. La maison est bien située pour parcourir l'île. Un conseil, ne faites pas comme nous. Nous avons suivi notre GPS et monté au lieu de descendre la rue Caminho de Igreja. Si vous suivez les instructions à la lettre, le chemin se fait très bien.

We love the house. Marcelo was very friendly and hospitable. He welcomed us with a bottle of white wine, a loaf of bread, a big chunk of cheese, and a big bottle of water. He has provided lots of information regarding restaurants and sights. The house is very conveniently located. It is near the airport, close by to the ferry station and wine museum and restaurants and hiking trails. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks!

Paula's Azorean Home was a fantastic accomodation option for my family of three. We have a 1 year old, and suitable accomodation options aren't always easy to find, but Paula's home was perfectly set up for our needs and we felt at home in this most scenic and tranquil location almost Immediately. Paula left us fresh fruit, bread, butter, cheese, olive oil, baby foods and snacks, meaning we didn't need to run to the store nor bring anything with us. The table was set including a highchair, baby utensils and plates, their was a basket of toys and books for our child and a crib was set up in the second room. In every room, Paula has thought about what guests need to feel at home. Thank you for hosting us Paula, we hope to return again one day soon.

A casa supera e muito as fotos apresentadas. Excelente espaço exterior. Gostámos muito, casa com todas as comunidades para 3 casais e bem equipada com tudo o que é necessário.

Pedro's Haus, die Casa Rosa Chá in Santo Amaro war für uns der perfekte Ort, um die Insel Pico zu erkunden. Ruhig gelegen, mit einem traumhaften Blick auf das Meer und São Jorge. Jedoch schnell und gut von überall erreichbar. Das Haus war makellos sauber, die Küche top ausgestattet. Bettwäsche, Handtücher alles sehr schön und hochwertig. Ein wunderbarer Platz auf der Terrasse zum Essen mit Sonnenauf- und Untergang. Schöner Grillplatz mit Pizzaofen auch bei Regen nutzbar. Rundum ein perfekter Platz für einen Urlaub auf der Insel Pico. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die tolle Kommunikation mit Pedro, der sich schon im Vorfeld immer darum gekümmert hatte, unseren Aufenthalt perfekt zu gestalten. Der Empfang durch Débora war herzlich und ihre ausführlichen Informationen über Pico waren sehr hilfreich. Vielen Dank, dass ihr uns einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt ermöglicht habt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Passamos cinco dias maravilhosos na Casa da Esquila, Alojamento muito bem localizado, a 5 minutos a pé do Mar. A sua localização central na Ilha facilita quem pretende visitar os diferentes pontos do Pico. A casa está muito bem equipada e decorada, tal e qual as fotografias, tendo proporcionado uma estadia muito confortável. A comunicação com a Regina foi muito fácil e célere. Viajámos com um bebé e tivemos que solicitar um berço e uma cadeirinha da papa, tendo sido ambos providenciados sem qualquer tipo de problema.

We absolutely loved staying at Margit’s home. It was so beautiful and we felt so at home there. Nestled between the mountain and the ocean, we could not have asked for a more perfect place to call home during our stay on the beautiful island of Pico! There is a short walk to a natural (slightly man made) pool next to the ocean where you can also jump into the ocean and there are stairs to climb out. there are no sand beaches on Pico so this is how you swim safely! It's great!

Casa da Paula is truly incredible: comfortable, clean, well-equipped and in a perfect location in Horta, with an awesome view of Pico and the harbour from the picture window and the huge roof terrace. Hope to return! Thank you Paula for your kindness too. It made our stay in Horta truly memorable.

This place had everything we could ask for. Beautiful clean interior with amazing views from both decks. A very short drive to the supermarket and anything else you could need. Hosts were responsive and willing help us with anything we needed.

We had a wonderful time at Paula’s place and really enjoyed our stay on the island Pico! It was a pleasure meeting Paula, she is a perfect host and very helpful. The appartment is well equipped and spacious, the village is lovely and you do have sea view from the sleeping room. I definitely recommend to stay with Paula in Santo Amaro.

Nuno war sehr freundlich und hat uns gute Empfehlungen für die Insel gegeben, egal ob Aktivitäten oder Restaurants. Die Unterkunft war größer als erwartet, ordentlich und sauber. Von der Terrasse hat man eine tolle Aussicht.

Une maison très agréable située au calme dans un endroit très paisible reposant et à proximité du centre ville et des activités proposées sur l'île. Maison au rdc et à partager avec d'autres résidents au 1er étage, sans problèmes avec accès privatifs bien séparés. Jolie piscine très agréable avec une magnifique vue mer. Maison très bien équipée, excellente literie et une hôte très réactive et bienveillante.

We stayed four nights at this place and really enjoyed it!!! The apartment is located in a quiet area where you can see and hear the ocean. We went out for dinner at Magma, as recommended, and fell in love with this restaurant :) We would definitely return to this apartment again!!!

The views from our Lava home were absolutely incredible! The free breakfast was good ,loved the Portuguese pastries and cake .All the staff that we encountered were pleasant and helpful . We ate at Magma several times and the food was very good . The only thing we didn’t like was the mattress,just a bit firm for us .

THE HOUSE IS AMAZING! Every part is perfect! It’s the only house that we stayed during our holidays that is decorated for Christmas, and you can feel the thoughtfulness from the host. Indeed the house is well maintained and you have everything needed for living here. Many check-in gifts. Amazing view of the sea and the volcano. Taisa is very kind and helpful. I really hope to visit again.

Unseren Urlaub mit Oma und Opa war ein tolles Erlebnis auf der Insel Pico und in dem wundervollen Haus von James. Das Haus mit Pool war unser Favorit in der Auswahl, damit für jeden etwas dabei ist. Aussicht, Badestelle, Pool, gemütliche Rückzugsorte im Haus und davor. Es ist alles da, was man sich wünscht. Nur das Wetter kann man nicht beeinflussen und deshalb haben wir mit dem Montana de Pico noch eine Rechnung offen. Deshalb kommen wir wieder und wenn möglich, sicher zu James.

This is an incredible property. Every detail has been thought of. The views are insane and the house is decorated impeccably. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food at Magma, their onsight restaurant, was the best we had in Pico. The pool and yoga studio, just breath taking. We loved our entire stay here and will return. Like others have said, the driveway is steep. Grab an automatic or be proficient with your manual car. We had a 7 person manual van and managed fine but we are comfortable with manual drive. Highly recommend!!! We didn't want to leave.

Un superbe logement sur l’île de Pico! Beaucoup de charme dans cette maison en pierre volcanique et surtout beaucoup d’équipement et un espace cuisine/salon très fonctionnel (qui donne envie de cuisiner!)

It was the best Airbnb experience we have ever had! Palmira and Mario are one of a kind. We have never met hosts being that friendly, welcoming and heartwarming like them before. We regretted that we only stayed for three days and can’t wait to come back. Only after this short period of time it felt like family we left behind when we had to leave again. Besides that they also own a fantastic house with a terrace (and room) that offers the best view over Lajes and the ocean. If you decide to stay with Palmira and Mario you will have an unforgettable holiday for sure. We want to thank them again and will always keep in mind - LIFE IS GREAT!

It was evident a lot of hard work and care went in to building this place. What a beautiful stay! We were fortunate we had perfect weather to see the mountain in the background. It was a bit intimidating before the hike to the top! However, we made it and had a nice one level place to rest our sore knees and make a delicious meal! A very memorable experience! I hope future guests have the same luck as us.
