PLEASE NOTE THERE`S A CAT living in the cottage (she's an INDOOR/OUTDOOR CAT) and it might not be suitable for those who are allergic or don't like cats. The cottage is relatively secluded in a rural environment with farms, animals and all that comes with it.

The property is full of protected endemic trees found only in the Azores and protected birds including Cory’s Shearwater with their curious singing just before sunrise and after sunset in residence between March and October. Activities nearby include whale watching, hiking, snorkelling, scuba diving, golf, fishing, geological sites, and the Unesco World Heritage town of Angra do Heroismo.

Stone House in the Countryside

Inserida numa quinta a 400m de altitude onde a temperatura é sempre mais amena e a úmidade é mais elevada, a Casa de Pedra, oferece ao visitante a tranquilidade do campo e suas actividades, descanso em recantos exóticos dum jardim com árvores centenárias o prazer de passeios a pé e não muito longe praia e termas. Recovered house (old winery), integrated into a 5,000 m2 farm, with a wide variety of citrus and other crops. Great garden, overlooking the sea and the mountains. It has a very spacious social area, ideal for families and groups of friends, where there is a pool table. Very close to several beaches and the center of Vila Franca do Campo. There are several trails starting near the house. Located on the south coast of São Miguel Island, with easy access to Ponta Delgada.

There are several recommended trails in the area which allow guests to explore the beauty of the nearby lakes and the local restaurants give you the chance of tasting the delicious Azorean cuisine.
