Boat is in great location.....quiet yet near, Tides Tav, 7 Seas, Thurs market and other great restaurants "in town". Great breakfast at Devoted Kiss. Also good BBQ at Brimstone. Good hiking trails nearby. Also did a 2 hr kayak of the harbor(Lees Sup). Had great time and would stay again.

Relaxed and beautiful location for our family of 3 plus dog. The trek from the house to the beach was, fast and easy with the paddleboards - even the dog enjoyed being out on the water! Lots of room to hangout and have fun. The karaoke battle was pretty epic! Thanks Mike & Eva!

Ostrich Nest was a great getaway! Very peaceful and quiet. The house was well stocked with pretty much everything you would need (even a knife sharpener in the kitchen) which is great since you’re on an island. Would highly recommend this rental if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway on the water.

We had such a lovely stay here over the Easter weekend – it was everything we hoped for and more! The house is clean, beautifully kept, and the views? Absolutely breathtaking. It’s one of those rare places that feels even better in person than in the pictures. It had everything we could possibly need – and then some. The hosts were simply wonderful – super friendly, accommodating, and just really easy to talk to. They made the whole experience feel warm and personal, not distant or transactional in any way. They even let us check in early and check out late, which made a huge difference for us with kids. Our days were filled with beach walks, seafood harvesting adventures, backyard chill time, and gorgeous sunsets. It felt like a perfect little reset from our busy lives. We were also celebrating our daughter’s 4th birthday during the stay, and she had an absolute blast. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Dale & Carol.

Beautiful cottage on the water! The surroundings are very peaceful. Nice to watch the tides. the kitchen was well outfitted includingna gas range and teapot! Loved it, thanks, Erin!

Absolutely stunning view, beachfront, wonderful walking neighborhood and really just a beautiful place. Definitely a popular area because of the boardwalk, and definitely busy on the weekends - specially when the sun's out!

The Clam Cove Cottage was a scenic, peaceful stay. If you like walking the beach, you'll find a wide variety of sea life. We enjoyed watching the ferry come and go, as well as bobbing seals and herons wading in the water. Pay attention to the signs that will help you find the correct driveway. We didn't and visited a few neighbor's driveways before we got it right.

This place was great! Kids were fully entertained the entire time! We played on the beach, swam in the pool, made smores, and read ghost stories. It was perfect!

Shelly was a wonderful host—kind, communicative, and thoughtful. She added so many perfect touches to the stay, from complimentary fruit and muffins to providing everything you might need to enjoy the pool and hot tub amenities. The space itself was spotless and incredibly comfortable (the bed was so cozy, I’m seriously considering buying the same mattress!). One important note for future guests: this is a partially shared-space rental. While I felt the level of privacy was sufficient, I initially overlooked this detail when booking, as the exterior listing photos are of a different part of the home than the space you’ll actually be staying in. Just something to be aware of going in. Overall, a very pleasant stay with a gracious host!

We absolutely loved our short time here! The home is exactly as described, one of the cleanest Airbnbs I've stayed in, and has an unbelievable view. We saw a family orcas, porpoises, and a seal from the deck! Rose is very responsive and sent all information we needed to use and access the home and amenities! The community hall is also terrific and a great place to meet other visitors/residents of the island. We will definitely be coming back! :)

Breanna is an ANGEL!!! Not only was her place perfect so was she!! He place is beach front! Super beautiful area. She had accommodations. I had an emergency arise while I was staying and she saved me out of a serious pinch helping me with her own money!! She is seriously the best host anyone could ever ask for. In the middle of our stay I had to go back and see if Nany was a superhost for this place because it was so amazing (spoiler alert: she is!). The pictures don't even do it justice, it's even better than what they show! The location is perfect, with only one neighbor next to you but you don't even really see their place. You're 20min from downtown Tacoma, 25 min from SeaTac airport and 60min from Pike Place (leaving on Thurs at 11am...maybe that's rush hour?! I have no idea but the drive went by fast). Things I loved: *having actual cable TV (I love local news in the morning) + TVs in all the bedrooms = no arguing *so many plates, utensils, cups, pots/pans, baking dishes, blender, etc., etc. etc. *thoughtful touches all around (blankets to cozy up with, a welcome basket, makeup remover wipes, detergent for laundry, and so much more) *proximity to everything *super cozy beds *beautiful aesthetic inside (and out), so serene sitting outside Highly recommend and would love to go back.

Glen was by far the best host I have ever used on AirBnb or VRBO! Responsive, friendly and flexible. The home was so beautiful I wish I could have had more time to just sit and enjoy the beautiful view!

The waterfront cabin is wonderful and Bill and Sue are fantastic hosts! Two of us stayed there with my 85-year-old mother who is not very mobile. We parked right next to the front door so it was easy to move her inside. Mom was also able to venture out onto the spectacular water and mountain view deck using her walker. She has a hard time speaking but at one point she threw up her hands and came out with a complete sentence, “I love this place!” We did too. We enjoyed walking on the beach, watching boats, birds, and seals. Thank you again Bill, hope to stay there again someday.

We spent our christmas holiday for 10 days at Sam's property with my two grandkids and my daughter and her husband. It was absolutely magical. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and cold plunged! The kids loved the house and literally cried when we had to leave. The backyard is perfect for kids. We really gave the fireplace a workout. It is a really beautiful wood burning (can't find that too often) fireplace that added to the coziness of the home. The layout of the home is perfect for families. It has a great room that allows you to see everything going on which is very relaxing when travelling with a 3 and 4 year old. The kitchen has spacious countertops and top end appliances. The home has 3 - yes 3 - bathrooms that are all full bathrooms with showers or tub. The view from the house is outstanding. I will miss waking up to that view with my coffee. I would highly recommend. Sam - thank you for helping make this stay perfect!

We've stayed here before and this time we had an infant with us in addition to our toddler and two dogs. We love the island and this place is a perfect location for a family stay. The view is incredible and the kitchen is very well set up for anything you want to whip up. We love the updates that have been made since our last stay. The house is well equipped with anything you may need for your island adventure. Thank you for a perfect stay and we are already looking forward to coming back again.

Beautiful location and amazing restoration of a cabin which was built in the 1920’s. My family owned this cabin for many years. Erika bought it from the people we sold it to in 2002. She brought our beloved cabin back to life. It was a surreal experience for me to returnto “ the cabin” 20 some years after we sold it. Everything was exactly like I remembered but far better. A beach place which everyone falls in love with as soon as they enter the front door. We hope to return to this little bit of heaven soon. Thank you Erika for sharing your cabin with us!!!

Our stay at the Fox Island beach cottage was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful setting, stunning water views, and thoughtful touches throughout the property. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained, with charming coastal decor, a well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable furnishings that immediately made us feel at home. One of the true highlights was the private beach access. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the deck while watching seals play in the water, and our evenings gathered around the fire pit, listening to the gentle waves. The location is quiet and serene, offering a perfect escape from the busyness of everyday life. Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, providing detailed instructions and local recommendations that enhanced our experience. Every detail felt intentional, from the high-quality linens to the cozy blankets left out for cool evenings.

This was the perfect place to unplug and unwind for a few days. The view from the house was incredible, and a beautiful local beach was less than a 5 minute walk away. The beds are so comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking at home. We really enjoyed biking down to the dock to take the kayaks out each day and didn't need our car once. Although we didn't see any whales on this trip, we did see plenty of seals and ospreys. We would highly recommend to a couple or family looking for a quiet getaway.
