Beachfront holiday rentals in Playa Guiones

We were looking forward a remote location to settle for some months. This was a great sanctuary to be alone and explore the empty beach. The WiFi was very good , even when other local services were unavailable. The neighbour made us delicious food when requested. A great adventure.

Awesome location with no people. Very isolated which was awesome. You can hear the ocean from the bedroom and living area. We have already booked our return trip. It is an Eden experience. Love the place and will be back soon.

The little blue house is exactly what one needs. Has a working kitchen, quiet, and best of all the beach is right there. It was nice to have a peaceful place to return to after busy excursions into the cities or whatever else. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely visit again

Our family had an awesome stay! The house is in a great location in Nosara, very easy walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Steve was a very helpful host, providing clear instructions and great recommendations. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely loved the peaceful, private location of this Airbnb! Bernd was very communicative and left detailed instruction of what’s around the area to what was available to use at the house. We loved so many things about this place the list would go on and on. Thank you Bernd for allowing us to experience such beauty.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful place! It was walking distance to everything in Nosara, including the beach, shops and restaurants. We especially appreciated the easy distance to carry our surf boards to the beach. It was lovely to swim and lounge by the pool in the hot afternoons. The three separate buildings gave plenty of privacy for three couples. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking and there was a lovely covered outdoor dining space. We would recommend staying here to everyone and would love to come back someday!

I didn't know laying in a pool and listening to the Pacific Ocean crash while monkeys swung overhead was a life goal until I stayed at Jill's. We saw howler and cappuchin monkeys, coati, and countless birds just hanging by the pool one afternoon. Jill was friendly, informative and made sure we were taken care of even when she wasn't physically able to be on the property. The property itself was insanely amazing and the perfect relaxing beachfront location for unwinding. There are bars and restaurants we were able to easily walk to using the jungle path Jill noted. I couldn't rate her home more highly!

This is literally staying ON the beach in a casual, tranquil, local Tico neighborhood. If you love the beach and can imagine the convenience of having your house along with you as you enjoy the beach, then you’re likely to love this stay. You know what the tide is doing because you hear it and see it from the house 24/7. The peaceful sounds of the surf, rain and wildlife were our favorite part! Thanks!

Rodman and Johannah make it easy to want to come back. We have now stayed in all the villas. Maybe next time we’ll try the main house. Samara is a town where the best places and things to do are spread out. Villas Espavel is walking distance to the highlights, on both ends of the beach. Very happy to have chosen this place to spend my vacation!! An incredible view😍, the apartment is very nice and well equipped. Definitely the perfect place if you want to rest and relax. Very good service from Federico, I always answered my questions to train quickly and friendly. Will definitely be coming back!!

What a beautiful spot! We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of our Costa Rica trip and what a beautiful way to end it. The house is great. The AC in the rooms cooled it off nicely and the pool was perfect. We loved how accessible everything was from this place including the beach and restaurants. Samara is a beautiful little laid back town and this place fits right in. The host was so sweet and very responsive with any questions we had. Easy 5 star and would recommend CasaBea’s to everyone! Casa Samara was described as family friendly, and it sure was! The kids *loved* the pool and we could walk right out the front gate to the beach. It was about a 25 minute walk (with kids) to downtown Samara. The hosts were so responsive when we extended our stay and needed some clean sheets. All of the rooms had fans and all of the beds had bug nets. 💜

Our best stay in Costa Rica and we wish we could stay longer! Federica and Roberto have created a great space to relax on in such an exciting town. The yoga is good for all levels and is every morning. It’s a close walk to the beach and right next to plenty of restaurants all while being nicely secluded. The pools is very refreshing and private with only 4 total units on the property. Can’t wait to go back

The place met our expectations, we had the opportunity to walk to the beach because it is so close. Access was easy and there are shops (restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, etc.) quite close. My husband and I had a great time! Thank you both for your attention and prompt response.

Being able to wake up, sit outside in the cool breeze, watch the sun rise and listen to the Howler monkeys and wildlife wake up every morning is an absolutely beautiful and peaceful experience. In addition to hearing the ocean waves crashing against the shore. This place was the best part of our trip! Oh and the beds were so comfortable that was worth its weight in gold! This was an amazing location!

Highly recommend! Great location, spacious studio that had everything you need and the host was very responsive and helpful.

Nice place and great team who work there. Good breakfast options. Close to the ocean and markets/cafes. That's why I left a 5-star. But I want to draw the owner's attention to the insect problem - every night, there were a few giant flying cucarachas, ants, and a bunch of other flying animals. I understand its Costa Rica (I've lived here for two years), kept the doors closed, but insects still go inside in numbers. The bathroom has a foam plastic block instead of a window. Rooms are dark (but at least chill temperature).

It was exactly what we expected, because all the descriptions fully matched what we got. We were ready that the access to the house is not easy because of the tide, we were ready that the house would be small, but or was ok for us, because we stayed only 2 nights. And we DIDN’T want noisy restaurants nearby, so we got what we wanted, Thank you so much!!!❤️

We loved the casita! It was clean and had updated bathrooms from what was originally shown in the photos. It was extremely walkable and our host Morgan was very knowledge able and quick to respond. The washer was broken when we came, but Morgan provided clean sheets and towels part way through our stay and someone to launder our dirties free of charge which was very kind. The only thing I missed when booking is that there isn't a proper living space inside. There are two chairs and side table, but we are a family of 3 so there wasn't really a place for us to gather or eat at home. There is outside seating, but with the green season and backing up to the jungle (which was amazing for monkey viewing!), there were a lot of mosquitos even with bug spray and other repelling devices. It all was totally fine as we spent most of our time out of the house, but next time I'll likely think to check if there is a living space inside as well. Even with that detail, I would still recommend!

Arriving at the Casita after a long trip to Nosara (2 connecting flights plus 3+ hr trip from LIR) really was like arriving at a home away from home: the friendly, professional, and highly attentive management team met me at the door and made sure I had everything I needed, and the Casita itself was breathtaking: beautifully designed tropical architecture with premium finishes throughout, fully stocked kitchen with top-shelf appliances, warm lighting and cool AC (in each room). Housekeeping was pristine. Location was truly unbeatable, in an upscale residential section just off the beach on a dedicated path. Note that the neighborhood is not in the center of the village… but exactly what I was looking for: a clean and quiet refuge three minutes from the main streets of Nosara. A short walk along the beach got me to any restaurant or shop I wanted to visit. Sun terrace was ideal reading/coffee nook; private Moroccan-tiled outdoor shower after each surf was a top-5 lifetime highlight.

This is such an amazing and beautiful spot steps from the beach and so close to the friendly little village. Restaurants on the beach welcomed us to a relaxing meal on those days we didn't wish to cook. We went to sleep and awoke to the sound of the surf. So peaceful! Sofia is a thoughtful engaging host. With the care-taker living on site, we felt well taken care of and completely safe. We look forward to returning!

We really enjoyed our stay! Jose was very responsive and always kind and helpful. The house is in a great spot and is great for relaxing on the porch after a long day. Perfect for enjoying Samara and the surrounding area.

Kyle's place has everything you need! It's small but very cozy, pretty and close to everything. You'll feel right at home!!
