Beachfront holiday rentals in Playa Mansita

We were looking forward a remote location to settle for some months. This was a great sanctuary to be alone and explore the empty beach. The WiFi was very good , even when other local services were unavailable. The neighbour made us delicious food when requested. A great adventure.

The little blue house is exactly what one needs. Has a working kitchen, quiet, and best of all the beach is right there. It was nice to have a peaceful place to return to after busy excursions into the cities or whatever else. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely visit again

What a spot for a vacation! The location was prime and the room itself was well suited for everything you need. This is a hidden gem in the area. Things I appreciated the most: The ocean was steps away for a swim at anytime. The shop keepers and restaurant owners downstairs are great people and pleasant to talk to during your stay. Waffle monkey (breakfast) and Portofino are the best spots for breakfast, fresh seafood, low cost happy hours, and fire show at night during sunset. You can literally walk anywhere in minutes. There is 3 separate door with locks to get to your top floor rental so this spot is very safe! If you are lucky, you'll notice a 5 foot iguana that rests in the trees to your right off the porch, spending days in the trees. Alvaro is the mgmt person who helps you. He speaks great English and responds rapidly to questions. Can't wait to return and bring family. The two units next to each other would be an ideal joint rental for a group of 5-7 people. Highly recommend!!!

Great location, our only wish is that the property would have an elevator. Everything about this condo was exactly as listed, great private beach to anyone that finds this place.

This place is big and perfect for a long stay, or short vacation. It had everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable and it’s in a quiet area with a beautiful balcony to bird watch. The beach and beach club were very easy to get to. I one even offered us the use of his golf cart while we were there. The service at the restaurants was amazing. Tom was a fantastic host. He always responded promptly and answered my questions and offered recommendations whenever we needed them. We were able to park in a spot very close to the condo which made coming and going and carrying luggage easy. Highly recommend staying in Tom’s place. You will not be disappointed

We would highly recommend Ron's place in Guanacaste. Location was perfect and in a peaceful setting with a secluded beach and pool, yet walkable to many of the local restaurants and amenities. Host was very responsive and proactive with helping with setting up tours and providing local recommendations. The condo was clean and well stocked with all the supplies needed for our trip and had a wonderful view from the porch to watch the sunsets.

We had a great week at Casa Verde. Joff (Housekeeper) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area (surf spots, snorkel spots, offshore fishing, La Equina, etc.), a great resource. Location of the house is awesome, far off the dusty roads that lead to the neighborhood. Monkeys and Iguanas in the trees above. Surf right down the patch. The house is huge...plenty of space to spread out. The pool was clutch on those super-hot afternoons when you just can't stand the beach/sun any longer. Don't be cheap w/ your car rental. Get a true 4x4 and explore all Costa Rica has to offer! Pura Vida! JP from NJ

Gorgeous place! We were thankful they allowed us to store our luggage at the office until we could check in. Only complaints are the place wasn't ready at 3PM, so we had several hours of trying to stay out of the cleaners way waiting for them to be done. They were there past 7PM! We eventually just left to get dinner but it would have been nice to have the place to ourselves starting at 3 since that is when we were told it would be ready. Also the staff just walks into the house unexpectedly? They would ring the door bell then just immediately open the door and come inside. It was our honeymoon and we had asked for privacy after the first time, but the next day the cleaner arrived without notice at 8am and woke us up by just walking inside to apparently do laundry. And then the pool cleaners showed up at 830. Then the next day maintenance staff had to come because of a water pump issue. Everyone was super nice, but we really would have appreciated less disruptions.

What a stunning, spotless, and well-organized accommodation in the perfect location at Las Catalinas! You can enjoy breathtaking sunsets right from the balcony. Not only was it a fully serviced apartment with everything you could possibly need, but the hosts, Lauren and Yerardi, were incredible. We even took advantage of their concierge service, and they arranged for our groceries to be purchased and delivered straight to the apartment! They were always quick to respond to any questions or concerns during our stay. We’ll definitely be returning when we’re back in Costa Rica! Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Great Airbnb experience, all around. Alvin is a fantastic host -- almost like a concierge. He's super responsive and set us up with great ground transportation -- which took us to some beautiful waterfalls on the way from Arenal and also took us grocery shopping. The property is beautiful and quiet. Quite good snorkeling. Highly recommended.

This was a beautiful vacation property with all the needed amenities. The location was ideal as it was within easy walking distance of a number of restaurants and shops.

Words cannot express how awesome this place is. The location is perfect- literally steps to the beach, sunsets that are phenomenal and the waves of the Pacific that rock you to sleep. The house had everything we could want for our family of nine. We had plenty of room and all the amenities we needed. Housekeeping did a fantastic job of keeping everything perfect. If you go, indulge yourself by having the cook Ivonne, make breakfast and dinner for you. You will not be disappointed. We are already planning our return trip.

We loved this place! The views are stunning! I could sit on the decks for hours just staring at the view and listening to the waves. We made a big breakfast and ate it on the deck one morning…breath taking.. You even have a view while showering in the master bath! The best beaches are within minutes- Playa Flamingo & Playa Conchal. I ran to Playa Flamingo beach in 10 minutes. The sunsets from Playa Flamingo beach were amazing! The infinity pool was fantastic to come home to at the end of a long day out. I wouldn’t hesitate booking this place again.

We absolutely love this place. This is our second year in playa Potrero. We have looked at multiple places in the area. This is by far the best location. On the beach, it has an amazing view. It is also close enough to all of the restaurants and bars. No need for a car or golf cart unless you want to travel out of town. We have visited multiple beaches north and south of there. This is a place that we would chose hands down. We like a chill environment with good bars and restaurants in walking distance. This is it!

Absolutely loved the peaceful, private location of this Airbnb! Bernd was very communicative and left detailed instruction of what’s around the area to what was available to use at the house. This beach condo was absolutely incredible—easily one of the best views I’ve ever had the pleasure of waking up to. From sunrise to sunset, the scenery was nothing short of breathtaking. Watching boats head out in the early morning while sipping coffee, with the sound of waves in the background, was pure bliss. The condo itself was beautifully maintained and equipped with everything you could possibly need—even a professional chef, which was such an unexpected luxury! Whether lounging on the sun-drenched lawn, relaxing by the pool, or just enjoying the peaceful ambiance inside, everything felt effortless and relaxing. Getting down to the beach was a bit of a hike, so I’d recommend driving if you have the option—but trust me, it’s totally worth it once you’re there. A truly special place I wouldn’t hesitate to return to. Highly recommend!

Our stay was incredible. The pictures don’t do it justice. Our kids were on a high from everything this home offers. Waking up to sun bathing iguanas, catch and release of hermit crabs in the backyard, walking to an extremely unpopulated beach, a resort restaurant just steps away, and a view from every angle of the house that just takes your breath away. Doug and his wife were the best hosts. My son and husband caught a 250lb fish on their excursion that Doug recommended with costa catch! We hit up Doug’s surf shop for the most incredible pizza pop up. There were no televisions in the house which was just what our family needed! A movie on an iPad was a real treat half way through our stay. Highly recommend!!!

Our stay at Jarrod’s place was incredible! Best vacation house you could ask for. Perfect location right on the beach but still super private. Having a swimming pool right on the ocean is about as good as it gets, we usually spend most of our vacation time at the beach but this house was so great we wound up spending more time by the pool. Also the house is stocked very well, everything an Airbnb/rental house should have this house has. Jarrod was very accommodating and helped us with transportation and Covid testing at the house. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Playa Negra area! We will definitely be coming back!
