You will become part of the local everyday life and living environment. In the yard you can see reindeer and you can also see the northern lights when they are in the sky. In the morning, you will become part of the reindeer herder's everyday life and we will go to feed the reindeer. If you're lucky, the tame reindeer may let you pet them. Reindeer are semi-wild, so they are in the forest from May to November.

Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

Hiljaisuuden kylän mökit ovat käsin veistetty 30 vuotta sitten. Vuonna 2023 mökit ovat täysin uudistettu. Mökistä löytyy oma wc, kahvinkeitin, vedenkeitin, mikro ja jääkaappi. Mökin terassilta löytyy puulla lämmitettävä kylpytynnyri. Kylpytynnyri on erikseen tilattavissa. Alueella on päärakennus josta löydät a-oikeuksilla varustetun ravintolan, jossa tarjoillaan aamiainen sekä valmistetaan tilauksesta päivällistä. Päärakennuksessa myös erilliset wc:t ja suihkut naisille ja miehille.

You book a traditional log cabin in the middle of the untouched nature of Finland, with direct access to the river. The modern interior design offers you all the comforts. Here you will find peace and time to relax – be it in front of the crackling fireplace or in the separate sauna with panoramic windows. A special highlight is the small gallery where you can stay under a skylight. From here, the northern lights can be admired comfortably and well protected in the warmth.

Täällä voit harrastaa hiihtoa, lumikenkäilyä sekä kalastusta. Lisäksi järjestämme moottorikelkka retkiä toiveiden mukaan. Mökiltä on matkaa Rovaniemen kaupunkiin noin 75km. This private little cottage is located next to the lake of Inari, but also only just 15 minutes drive away from the center of Ivalo. Beautiful lake and fell scenery opens straight away from the front door and sauna. Cottage has modern equipments for cozy living, a fireplace and wood-heated sauna. During the evenings you can hear huskies howling few kilometers away and hopefully spot the auroras dancing above the lake. Entrance to bathroom through cold veranda.

Equipment rental and Tunturikeskus Kiilopää within walking distance. Less than 20 minutes by car to Saariselkä ski slopes, and other services, 10 minutes walk to Urho Kekkonen National Park.

Experience staying at the edge of a husky farm in our cabins, which are built in the spirit of the wilderness without running water, but still so that your stay is as comfortable as possible. The cottages have everything you need, but nothing extra: a double bed, a small dining table, a wood stove with a stove top, a kitchen corner with handwashing and dishwashing facilities, and an eco-toilet. A traditional wooden sauna will crown your day.
