House holiday rentals in Point Loma, San Diego

I am a San Diego local, but my family was coming to town and we needed more space. I picked this place because I knew my sister and brother-in-law would love being able to walk to all the restaurants and brewery nearby and my 6 year old nephew would get a lot of use out of the pool. The place exceeded my expectations, it was perfect for everyone. We spent a lot of time in the backyard swimming or playing board games, and my Mom got a lot of use out of the hot tub. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was comfortable and clean. The only downside is my family might visit too often now!

Our host John provides a beautifully decorated home in a quiet, central neighborhood. The setup is exceptional, with both a heated pool and hot tub, and the experience felt like staying in a boutique hotel. He thoughtfully includes amenities like toothbrushes, makeup remover wipes, cotton pads, and more — the attention to detail really impressed us. We absolutely loved our time in La Jolla, and John’s local tips were spot-on. We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend booking with him.

Stay at Katri’s was great. Had delicious cookies waiting for us when we checked in, which was a breeze. House was spacious and entire lot was very big. Pool was great and even after we had told them that no heated pool would be necessary, Mother Nature had a different idea and gave us some more than unexpected chilly weather, so they had no problem throwing the heater on for us. Freeway in the background was hardly a noise problem for us personally. Just far enough that it didn’t affect us, and was nice to see what our morning commute was going to be like. Brought two dogs with the group that absolutely loved everything (after one of them finally got over his fear of the staircase). All in all a great stay in a great neighborhood. Cant comment more how quickly they responded to us in the days leading up to the trip, and while we were there. Great hosts!

This beautiful guest home in historic Marston Hills is perfect for a San Diego getaway! It was pristine, well-maintained, and so comfortable. We were able to walk to Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo, as well as nearby restaurants and grocery stores. The pool was also a lovely amenity, and the surrounding canyon was a gorgeous backdrop. Jing is an amazing host. She truly goes the extra mile to take care of her guests. The home is stocked with amenities - kitchenware for cooking, toiletries and extra towels, even pool or beach supplies! We loved our stay in Jing’s guest home, and are so grateful for the hospitality. An amazing location and our incredible host made our stay so memorable and enjoyable. Thank you, Jing, for your hospitality. We hope to stay here again, soon!

The location is a ten minute walk to the beach. There’s a sprouts three minutes away and numerous bars, restaurants, and shops. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Great location with a very great host. Very kind people. I would definitely stay again.

We have stayed in many different types of homes both good and bad. But, I’ve gotta say “This one has been BY FAR, THE BEST”!! The view as well as the house is absolutely amazing. The design of the home is gorgeous. The house was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. I must mention the squatty potties and bidet’s in the bathrooms… SUPERB!! Before booking my reservation, I asked Van if I could have my family and friends (about 10 people) come over after a graduation ceremony and he said yes. He even accommodated us with extra tables and chairs. My friends and family all loved the place. Van always replied to my messages no matter the time of day or night. There was a hiccup with the fire alarms in the house which was completely out of Van’s control, but he handled it well. He personally appeared to resolve the issue. Meeting Van in person did not disappoint. He is as nice in person as he is in messages. We are definitely going to come back.

I never leave reviews but had to for this home. Truly the most wonderful experience! Stayed for my sister’s bachelorette, and the backyard was even more incredible than pictured!! Every guest wished we could extend our stay, and my sister and I are already talking about trying to return to this exact home for a future family vacation.

Our family enjoyed our stay in this adorable home. It had everything we needed for a weekend stay and was very comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and centrally located. Lindsay was super responsive and the home had great bonus areas such as the rooftop. Thank you!!

This spot was beautiful. The inside was very homey and so comfortable. You can tell the design of the home had a lot of thought behind everything. There are some restaurants that are walkable, although it is an area with hills so be ready to hike if so. San Diego Zoo, Petco Park, truly just a hop and skip away through transportation services. My girlfriend and I absolutely loved the house and location. I was fortunate enough to meet Anthony on our last stay and he is very kind. Thank you for your hospitality, Anthony! If you’re as lucky as us, maybe you’ll get greeted by Oliver!

We had a wonderful stay. The place was very clean and comfortable. The location was great. It was very close to the beach and it was very peaceful throughout the day and night. We would definitely like to come back someday.

We had the best time at the Spanish beach cottage! The home was so charming and the backyard was very secure and perfect for pets. It was so close to both dog Beach and the local restaurants. Highly recommend!

My family enjoyed staying here. It felt right at home. Close to everything, clean and so cozy. My husband loved the mattress :) and pillows.

This was the perfect location for our visit to San Diego. Close to the Marine base and to the airport. No issues parking, there was always a spot available. The turtles and koi pond were awesome! And the multiple decks provided outstanding views and an outdoor living environment. Bathrooms were updated and fabulous! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back…Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful spot. Exactly as described and pictured. Truly one of the nicest AirBnBs we have ever experienced. Beautiful inside with plenty of natural light. Every little touch seemed intentional and well-placed. Great kitchen space. Absolutely amazing view of the surrounding area. Very close to the airport, Balboa Park, and more. We had a lovely time visiting San Diego and this inviting space set the right tone from the start!

I booked this place last minute literally after checking into a nearby hotel that was subpar at best and not as advertised. First time in Point Loma. Reason for visit was seeing my kids who live in Cali and Hawaii. So we met halfway as I am from the east coast. The ease of the entire experience is unmatched. The communication with the host was great and the house was amazing. Perfectly appointed. They thought of literally everything. And it was spotless and pristine. This is a unique home and experience. The most comfortable and beautiful and up to date everything is this house. I can’t think of a single thing that wasn’t perfect. There are stairs to the lower bedrooms and laundry and pool area. But I’m in shape and they didn’t scare me. The neighbors are super friendly. And the parking lot as adequate. The view is knockout insanely beautiful. The beds are comfy the pillows and linens are just like at home. It’s a quiet neighborhood close to everything. And I can’t think of a negative

I had to most relaxing time staying at Deborah's beautiful home! Every evening I sat out and watched the sunset. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and you can easily walk down to the cliffs and the nature reserve. We walked to breakfast in the morning at a cafe near by which was delicious too. The house is stunning. The pictures don't really do it justice and that's saying something because the pictures are amazing! Very comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. Deborah couldn't have been nicer. She accommodated my early check in request and was so responsive when I had a question after arriving. I hope to come back to this gem again and again! It truly felt like a home away from home, so welcoming and comfortable.

Had a great stay at Andrew's place. Very cozy and clean. There are lots of planes flying overhead but we got used to it very quickly and it didn't affect our sleep. Short drive to the coast and lots of great restaurants and cafes nearby.

We (me, 2 young kids, 2 elderly parents) had a great stay. Everything was clean, the area was quiet and safe with lots of parking, and there were lots of stuff for kids to play with and use. The location was also great and easy to get everywhere - train station, airport, downtown, beaches, restaurants. The hosts were super responsive and super nice. Overall we had a great experience with no issues or complaints and would love to stay again.

I loved this home! It’s far enough away from the business of Orange Ave but close enough to join in on the fun by walking!! I loved walking to Coronado Beach everyday ☀️

Wow! This home was everything!! You can tell Ginny really took the time to make the home special! Everything was as pictured! My husband loved how secure the home was, as in the windows and doors were the sturdy and safe selection. Neighborhood was so safe, my husband and 2 year old daughter found theirselves walking around most nights. I highly recommend!!!

We had an amazing stay at Vista Lomita. Crystal’s place was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked. It was perfect for our little family. The kitchen had everything we needed, which made meals super easy, and we loved spending evenings on the patio by the fireplace. Our toddler had a blast, especially with the beach chairs and toys provided! It made beach days effortless and fun. Parking was easy and being just a short walk to Better buzz coffee was a great bonus. We felt so at home and enjoyed every single day. Can’t wait to come back!
