Firstly, the host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The place was easy to find with clear instructions, and it was absolutely beautiful. The flat itself was spotless, very spacious, and packed with thoughtful amenities, including a first aid kit, which is a rare find in most Airbnbs. I’ve honestly never stayed in an Airbnb so well-equipped! The location was also great, just a 5-minute walk to the Co-op and other local shops, and only about 20 minutes into the city centre. Overall, I would give this a solid 10/10 and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Loved my stay here. The location is great with lots to do very close by. The flat is very spacious and had everything I needed for my week long stay.

One of the most unique Airbnb stays I’ve ever had, felt extremely luxurious. The beds were huge and super comfortable, and the bathrooms even seemed to have heated floors. We were able to visit specialty grocery markets in Glasgow and cook in the very expansive kitchen. The art décor was beautiful, and the TV room was incredibly cozy. To top it all off, the view of the park is remarkable, with a backdrop of the majestic buildings of Glasgow University. This is a prime location for Glasgow, many top attractions are within walking distance. On check-in day, the host sent a comprehensive list of the best restaurants and local attractions across all cuisine categories.

Booked The Sauchie for 2 days. We arrived around 10pm from London. Even though it was late we had no trouble finding the place. There is a car park about 200m on the right so parking was easy. The place is in immaculate condition! There is luxurious thick carpet from front entrance to our 1st floor apartment. When we open the door to our apartment we were greeted with a large open lounge and kitchen. Every amenities were provided and the owner even provided us orange juice, croissants, milk to tie us over. There were plenty of white fluffy towels in the bathroom. There is a very large Tesco Express (more like a down scale super store than an express one). The pedestrian only Sauchiehall street for shopping is just one street behind the apartment. If you want a luxury centre apartment, this is the one. We will definitely use it again.

We had a wonderful stay with Veronica. We accidentally locked our keys into the apartment and she was very responsive and was able to help us and this did not require us to change our travel plans. The apartment is just as listed and in pictures. It was a very cozy space for 4 adults and one teenager to stay and explore Glasgow and surrounding areas. She kindly left hair dryer, hair curler for ladies. The location was wonderful and we walked to local pubs and restaurants and went for a run in Kelvingrove park nearby. Just wonderful.

Really nice apartment, very close to trains and buses, we were very comfortable and Russell was great and very helpful! Would recommend to anyone going to Glasgow for a weekend or longer

Lovely flat in a quaint building with old world charm. Very close to museums and beautiful parks. Lots of restaurants if you want to go out. Quiet and relaxing if you want to stay in. Groceries and local small businesses are plenty in the neighbourhood. Easy to get to city centre as well as to Loch Lomond. Host was friendly and courteous.

Beautiful spacious and pleasant apartment. Good bedding, very good bathrooms despite a little weak lighting in the bathroom facing the entrance (it remains a detail). Very well equipped, convenient and complete kitchen. We just had a problem with the table which was broken but the owners were already aware and were waiting for the news. The oven was dirty when we arrived. Otherwise, nothing to repeat. Great. We're happy with that.

The flat was very clean, organized, and a 10 minute walk from the train station and Aldi. Balloch is a 30 minute walk where there is a park and restaurants. Ronnie was responsive and clear in his instructions.

A wonderful stay. I was there for work at the University of Glasgow, and it's just a five minute walk from the flat. The area is very quiet and I slept like a baby (unusual for Glasgow because in other parts of the city, they're partying until 4 am.) It's right next to a subway station so getting around is super convenient. Should I ever return, I'll certainly check for this unit's availability. Thanks to Charlotte and Roddy for their expedient responses to my inquiries.

Smart flat very handy to the conference centre. Good size for 1 to 2 people... Everything works well including the washer dryer. Quiet neighbours, easy access.. WiFi excellent. Highly recommended and Scott was very helpful and fast.

This apartment was perfect for our family of 4. It was in a very peaceful spot, was very comfortable, and offered us an opportunity to relax during a long trip. We used the master bedroom for my husband and I, and our 2 kids shared the second bedroom. The bathroom was perfect for our needs. There were local channels on the tv and also apps such as Netflix. We stayed very briefly, but enjoyed it nonetheless. For dinner, we walked to Chinaski’s (a restaurant that pays homage to the writer Bukowski) and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I would say that if you want more restaurants and nightlife options, this might not suit you. But if a peaceful night’s sleep, peace of mind, and a clean place to shower for a new day is all you need, this is great!

Great stay in heart of west end in Glasgow. Close to art galleries which we were visiting. Good pubs, restaurants. Tesco metro across the square to pick up breakfast items. Comfortable flat which had everything we needed.

Lovely cozy apartment with everything you need, even for a longer stay. Walking distance to city center of Helensburgh and in perfect location to access Loch Lomond and surrounding mountains. Hosts were friendly, communicative, providing precise descriptions of the property and amenities and giving recommendations for activities/restaurants etc. Very lovely experience.

Perfect studio flat in a quiet but central location for Glasgow’s fantastic west end. Next to the Botanical Gardens, 5-10 mins walk from shops, restaurants, the university, underground.

Our group of 3 couples had a fabulous stay. The apartment is modern, spacious and well equipped. Excellent location, with easy access to the city centre and transport links. A comfortable base to explore Glasgow. We would definitely return

We had a wonderful stay at Kayt & David’s place! It was absolutely spotless and so well stocked with anything and everything we could have needed for the weekend, including some really thoughtful touches like croissants, milk and the famous Tunnocks tea cakes! The views over the garden and hills were gorgeous. It was so easy to find and access when we arrived, parking was available right outside on the street and there is a cute pub with some great food right across the street. The bathroom and kitchen were in fantastic condition and supplied with everything we could have needed for a comfortable stay. There were lots of instructions around the place so we were never stuck working out what to do with appliances etc. We had a brilliant time and hope to return one day!

Outstanding location in Merchant city. Unit was spotless and exactly as described / shown. 4 people can stay comfortably here and the place is close to so much to do and major rail stations. Don’t hesitate booking this location, you won’t be disappointed!

We loved our mini break at the apartment with its quirks and beautiful decor, it had everything we needed and more. We made use of the Z bed, though more suitable for a child . I would have preferred using the luxury airbed advertised. Would love to return for a longer stay and more adventures. Brilliant friendly host, great chats , we have common sporting interests too. Suissi restaurant is worth a visit, whether vegan or not.

Absolutely gorgeous property, made a brilliant home from home for us for our son’s graduation. Loved the thoughtful touches, fresh milk, butter and scones, and lovely toiletries. My architect wife loved the building and history, and your clever renovation. Hope to stay again in the future!

Lovely top floor flat, retains original features. Located in centre of Helensburgh, some noise from local pub and merrymakers on their way home. Great facilities, spacious and tasteful decoration. As long as you can cope with the stairs (2nd floor), and don’t mind parking your car in adjoining streets, then this is a perfect spot.
