Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Ponsonby

Stayed in 10 Airbnb locations in 14 days and this was the best experience we had- right location in the best area ; very well kept and clean home; clear instructions for checkin and even allowed a late checkout. We had a wonderful experience in Auckland- thanks to our place of stay!

Our group of 7 stayed 5 nights. The pictures are accurate, the house is beautiful, we did not want to leave. It was very clean with no personal clutter which I love. Spectacular views of Rangitoto and a very relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of room for 2 families to spread out and you can have privacy when needed. There is so much house here and I don't think we used all the rooms, so lots of space. Big bedrooms with big beds. The pool was really nice but we didn't use due to the weather but the fire was very cosy Furnishings are new and beautiful, bed are comfy and huge, loved the quality linen. Lots of cutlery, cups, plates etc Mandy was very easy to communicate with and was very generous to us with snacks and drinks to welcome us, she also allow us an early check in which was so helpful I would definitely re book in a heart beat 10/10 Spectacular Home

Great location close to shops and restaurants. Quiet for being in the city. Cosy and warm house. Sheets and towels good, beds comfy.

This Ponsonby villa was the perfect base for my Auckland trip. Spacious, stylish, and full of charm, it had everything I needed, an upgraded kitchen, plenty of fridge space, great espresso machine, and a beautiful courtyard with pool, loungers, and outdoor fireplace. The rainfall shower might be the star of the house, it was a luxury experience. The bedrooms were cozy and quiet, and the open-plan layout made it feel airy and relaxing. Just a short walk (about 2,000 steps) to Ponsonby Road, with amazing coffee and breakfast at Dizengoff. Amy was a responsive and thoughtful host, she quickly fixed a door lock issue, which made me feel safe and well cared for. The house blends old character with modern upgrades, which fits the Ponsonby vibe perfectly. Even the recycling system (with 5 bins!) was easy to adapt to. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Auckland!

This home is perfectly sized for a couple. It is like staying in an art gallery, always something curious and wonderfully artistic to gaze at on all the walls. Then venture outside and it is further feast for the eyes.. gorgeous sky views from the deck, and plenty of space to walk in the back garden and enjoy all the beautiful plants. Rosetta & James provided snacks in the pantry and drinks and nibbles also in the fridge, and chocolates, such generous hosts who are super friendly. Thank you also for the late check out and responsive communication.

Great weekend escape with pool and indoor outdoor flow to enjoy the sunshine and chill space later with the easy outdoor gas fire. Modern kitchen made for easy self catering but also close and walkable to great restaurants and coffee spots. Having an ensuite for each bedroom always a win. Comfortable and ample space for all.

I had a great stay, just a little mishap but it wasn't the host's fault, visitors parked in the assigned parking lot, so we had to park in the neighbor's parking lot. But otherwise, it was impeccable. Super responsive and kind host.

We had an amazing time. Lovely cafes and restaurants in the area, close to the beach for walks. Thank you for your great hospitality.

Paula's place is spacious, and well appointed. All the expected amenities and in a stunning convenient location. Total privacy but Paula and Peter are close by if you need anything. Loved the rain shower and the super comfy couch for lazing around in the evenings. Centrally located to all the great eateries of Ponsonby, Mt Eden, Viaduct Harbour and Dominion Road are a short, cheap Uber away. Loved it :)

I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for the lovely stay at your place. Everything was perfect — from the cozy and clean room to the thoughtful details that made me feel right at home. I especially appreciated the bathroom it is so comfortable and relaxing after a long wall.the garden is so beautiful. Fantastic stay and everything was as describe and easy to get around.

We really enjoyed our three night stay. Dean and Margaret’s place was very comfortable and well equipped. It was warm and clean and we felt very much at home. The beautiful view really topped it off, especially the amazing sunsets.

Our second stay. Great Airbnb. Lots of thoughtful extras like an umbrella, extra towels, lots of local information. Fantastic being able to use the swimming pool & gym. Highly recommend Kerri’s Airbnb.

I loved staying here! The setting is gorgeous and the apartment is gorgeous! It is comfortable and well-appointed with everything you could need and more. Pam is a wonderful host, ready to help whatever needed. I was sad to leave and hope to have another opportunity to return.

Had a lovely stay; spacious rooms, nice living area, and fully functional kitchen. Close to supermarkets, restaurants, and about 15 minute walk to the Aotea Centre. About 30 minute walk to get down to the wharf. Highly recommend Coco’s Cantina around the corner; and loved that there was a washer and dryer, and the shower water pressure was amazing. Robert was very quick to respond to any messages, and very friendly to communicate with. He was very accommodating in helping me change my dates a couple of months before my trip. Overall lovely stay!

I had a fantastic stay at Amanda and her husband’s place in Auckland. The location was ideal, just a short walk to my course venue with easy transport and a great café downstairs for early starts. The apartment felt like home, spacious with beautiful views, and stayed warm and cozy. I loved the kitchen for prepping meals and the huge TV was perfect for relaxing at night. Amanda thought of everything, from a well-stocked pantry to my favorite Nespresso machine. The bathroom was spotless with great water pressure, just like a hotel. A nearby local 4 Square had anything else I needed, though most essentials were already provided. I’m quite particular and this place exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay again if traveling solo. Highly recommended!

Thank you for a lovely stay Lilly. Lillys place is lovely, it was walking distance to Ponsenby shops and central to all the areas we wanted to visit. Lilly had a cot set up for our daughter when we arrived and was very welcoming. She left us to it after showing us how to get into the apartment. The house spacious and clean and the house had everything that we needed. A beautiful home.

Great hosts. The Airbnb was super comfortable and peaceful. Fantastic location near walks and the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at Irene’s. It was great to be so close to the beach and there were lots of shops and cafes within walking distance. It’s a scenic 20 minute drive to Snow Planet is that is part of your holiday plans. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay a pleasure. Irene was so friendly, helpful and caring. We would definitely stay again.

It was a spacious and pleasant place to stay. There’s a very popular café on the ground floor, which was a big plus. The host always responded quickly, whether it was early in the morning or late at night, and genuinely cared about whether I was comfortable. I’d love to stay here again the next time I visit Auckland!
