House holiday rentals in Port Alberni

We enjoyed our stay. The airbnb was spacious and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. We were in Parksville awaiting the birth of our grandson so it was a nice place to pass the time until baby's arrival. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals, the area has lots of nice walking trails, we enjoyed using the hot tub and the view from our unit was a nice surprise.

we were a family of 12. the house was spacious which was important. the kitchen had everything we needed. the grandkids loved the heated pool in the pouring rain.

It was a beautiful home for the 10 of us when ample space to feel very comfortable. We had trouble with pool being not heated but Tanner was very helpful and quick to respond and helped us get it working again. The home is so cozy and clean and we would highly recommend it to other large groups.

Had a great time at Jane's place. It is in a great location close to the beach and walking trails. Also within walking distance of great restaurants. The house had everything you need for cooking, sleeping and relaxing.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and convenience of this property. So much so, that we considered buying a cottage in this community. Our stay was a luxury experience. Kate and Fohla were wonderful hosts and gave us personal attention as needed. We will be back!

This was a great location for our Vancouver island adventures. Pretty central to what we wanted to do. Cathedral Grove was close enough for us to visit multiple times, and the trip over to the Pacific coast was about what we wanted. Great hosts, were very quick to respond, and extremely helpful. House was great for our family, good amount of space, and lots of activities to do on rest days. Would stay here again if we ever come back to explore the area more.

Peaceful and lovely house, the views from the balcony were beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Nanaimo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Very family friendly - we used the pack'n'play and highchair, as well as the beach toys provided! There were many "kids" cups and plates which made meal time a breeze. The fully enclosed deck was also nice for the kids to play on. There were a couple things that would be nice for a handyman to come work on (tightening up toilet seats/towel rods, etc.) but overall we really enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay - it was exactly what we were hoping for!!! The log cabin is cozy and beautifully furnished. The cabin was very clean and all amenities were above and beyond. Loved our evenings at the fire pit and soaking in the deep bath tub!

The location of this place couldn't be better for exploring the Island and especially for mountain biking (hosts were very accommodating with letting us store/charge our ebikes in their garage during our visit). Very easy access to everything North and South of Nanaimo as well as the city itself. The apartment is very peaceful with your own private garden/sitting area. While Nash and Louise are delightful hosts the real star of this property is Ollie, the most well behaved dog you will ever meet. Ollie greeted us upon our arrival and checked in most mornings to make sure we were well taken care of. Be sure to get Nash and Louise's restaurant recommendations.

It was an enchanting experience that lived up to all the beautiful photos on the listing . True BC West Coast experience. We will be back soon for sure.

Truly one of the best Airbnbs we've stay in. The house is better than we could have imagined and lake is even closer than what it looks like in the pictures. My five year old son says his favorite thing(s) about the house is: jumping into the lake, the hot tub, the water play, jumping in the lake, the big couch, the showers, and jumping into the lake... Hoping to come back again!

Very clean and tidy, exactly as described. Responsive and helpful host, beautiful view, and enjoyed the various birds and deer. Highly recommend!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in such a beautiful space. The place is spotless and very well stocked. It is clear that Elidah and Ed have put a lot of love and care into their home. This was a aboslutley beautiful space! The view is breathtaking and the high windows, wood beams and balaconies make the whole thing quite dreamy. There is also a amazing bathtub on the lower floor that overlooks the ocean which was my happy place. They keep the space very clean and well stocked with the key things you may need to make your stay comfortable (shower ammenities, basic kitchen supplies, great towels). I went with my kid, parents, sister and her baby and were quite comfortable with the three bedrooms and large living room/ kitchen. The fireplace made for a cozy atmosphere in the evenings as you watch the sunset and birds flying overhead. It is also convenientily located 5 minutes from the ferry terminal. The only challenging thing for us was that the home is situated immediately against the street and there is no sidewalk to walk with kids/ to the beach etc. There is also no real backyard for kids to run and play in.

We really enjoyed our stay at Judy’s place. The house is nice with everything you need. We were so impressed with the little extras that were there such as coffee/tea, spices, oil, vinegars, cold drinks in the fridge, toys and colouring books for kids, a well stocked Kitchen and even bundled paper to start the fire. The yard was perfect for a backyard dinner and a relaxing evening fire. Close to supermarkets, restaurants, and Saturday markets. The beaches in the area are fantastic. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you for hosting us:)

We had a fantastic time staying at Ryans airbnb. We loved the sauna, hot tub, and the gorgeous views. We hope to return again in the future.

Really nice place. Clean and spacious. Good location. Only downside was the lack of stove / oven. But close enough to grocery stores and restaurants.

Nicole’s “carriage house” is exactly as described, absolutely beautiful, peaceful and private. Very well equipped kitchen, laundry, bathroom etc. Nicole has thought of everything you may need. We loved our 4 night stay and visit around the island, then to come back each day to relax at the carriage house. 10/10

Laura was a great host. Super helpful and welcoming. Great location and a great location in Cumberland to access restaurants, biking and outdoor areas. Definitely look forward to visiting again. A special thanks to Laura for helping me deal with some unexpected travel issues I had to deal with.

The home was spacious and well equipped. We got to see deer, rabbits and humming birds in the yard.

We had a wonderful stay in Roberts Creek! The location was perfect — peaceful, close to nature, yet convenient enough to explore nearby spots. The host was extremely welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The space was spotless, well thought-out, and comfortable for 3 adults. It was a lovely spot to both relax and get some work done, with a nice, quiet atmosphere. We’d gladly stay again and highly recommend it!”
