Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Port of Spain

I booked Ailsa's place for my fiance during her time in Trinidad in September 2024. She was very pleased with her stay. She commented on Ailsa and Junior's prompt responses and willingness to be of great help and service. You'll feel right at home. It's tastefully decorated, with ample storage and space for lounging and getting fresh air. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and she highly recommends it for other travelers visiting Trinidad and Tobago. 5 stars

Thank you to the best abnb hosts! Friendly , accommodating and flexible. The 360 security camera and gated private residence made my family and i feel safe and secure. The property is large and spacious. We actually had extra room. Lovely stay. We appreciate you. Highly recommend for US tourists ❤️

This was our second stay, in a different but similarly equipped apartment. As before the apartment was exceptionally clean and well maintained with good quality amenities all in working order and had everything you needed to comfortably settle in, a real plus after a long journey. Hosts are always responsive and friendly and run their apartments very professionally, with the safety and comfort of guests clearly a priority. Feels like a home from home and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here.

Enjoyed our stay, lots to do at the house. Looking forward for our next trip.

Check in was great. Damien was at the location upon arrival. He gave clear instructions about the house. There was no need to contact him during the stay. The house looks exactly like the photos. The house and its amenities is definitely worth the price. I would stay here again and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting.

It was my first time in Trinidad, and it’s a trip to talk about! It was like home away from home . Everything was on point . Wish I had more time to enjoy the place . Althea is a great host and I would recommend her to anyone I know visiting Trinidad and is looking to stay in a relaxing home. Can’t wait to visit again .

Great location, right close to the beach but also tucked away enough that you get privacy in the place. Well equipped kitchen as well so we cooked a couple of the nights as things close up early nearby Maracas!

Ramona and Pradesh are great hosts! This is my second time staying here, and I will definitely be back. Pradesh met me at check-in. He showed me some update to the entertainment center, he also shared the local events calendar, and there is an outside shower for j’ouvert and beach days. There is also a great little grocery store across the street and a little breakfast & lunch restaurant right next door to that. This place is private and mostly quiet. So, it is the perfect place to relax after carnival events or partying on the avenue.

Vinosh was very responsive and provided clear instructions for the check in and check out of the AirBnB. The photos were accurate and the location was great. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

This my favorite place to stay when I visit Trinidad although I’m from Trinidad the location is very well gated and surrounded by natures and a nice view other then the one out by the pool. If you like early morning or night walks it’s a nice hill to get your work out. I love it how peaceful the area is. James always one text away if I have any questions or problems although I had no problem he’s always available to assist thanks for having me I’ll be back in 2 months I hope it’s available.

I loved the apartment so much I’d refer to it as “MY apartment” whenever I’d speak to the host, Michelle, about anything during my stay, and when planning a future visit! I was so impressed with the overall presentation of the compound - excellently designed, with cute social spaces, modern laundry options and unobtrusive security measures in place to ensure our safety. The apartment layout, decor and furnishings are modern and well presented, to a quality standard that other rental apartments in Trinidad should aspire to. Michelle hosted throughout and was personable, helpful, empathetic, communicative and flexible - all marks of an excellent host. For all of the above reasons, I’ll be returning to MY apartment in the near future 🙂

Honestly one of the best Airbnb experiences we ever had. This apartment is centrally located, clean, easy accessible, lots of space and it is in a complex with great restaurants. If you are looking to stay in one of the nicer, more happening parts of POS, this is a great choice. Communication with Mario was super easy, check-in and check-out were a breeze. Highly recommend this place!

Had a nice stay at Joanna’s place while working remotely. It’s in a central, generally safe location within the city. The place had several thoughtful touches which enhanced my stay. Would return if back in Port of Spain.

Alethea was a great host, she ensured we were comfortable and well taken care of. She responded to any queries we had promptly. The property is beautifully decorated and exactly as described/pictured. It was spotless and well equipped. You do have to take stairs to get to the property, so if you have mobility issues please take that into consideration. The property is located near a main road which leads to the town centre, it’s about a 30 minute walk or a 8/10 minute drive. It’s about a 20 minute drive to the airport and a 25 minute drive to Port of Spain. I would recommend either renting a car or trying to organise a driver as it can be difficult getting a taxi. Rideshare apps such as TTRS and DeliverMeTT can be very helpful but note it can take a while to get a driver to accept your ride due to where you are situated. All in all I would definitely stay at this property again. It was peaceful, immaculately kept and you really get to experience Trinidad in its authenticity.

Delesse's place was perfect for my short stay. I chose it for the artsy vibe and prime location and felt right at home from the time they greeted me. The apartment was spacious and well equipped, and the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The hosts were also quite helpful, assisting with arranging a driver, and providing recommendations (sometimes even before I asked). I would definitely stay there again and would recommend Petite Vireé to anyone looking for a place to stay while in Port of Spain!

Had a comfortable stay at Renee's whilst on a short vacation. Firstly, Renee is a first-class communicator (pre/during/after my stay) and ensured that I had all the information I needed for the trip. The location is perfect with restaurants, entertainment, local shopping and various activities, all within walking distance/next to the building or a short ride away. Security within and around the area is also great. The unit is extremely spacious, with all the amenities needed for a short or long-term stay. Overall, I give it a RECOMMEND! Clytus and his wife made us feel so comfortable, Home was beautiful and located in a lovely area! His wife Simmi was amazing, even went out her way to prepare me a birthday breakfast. Simmi was always available and did everything to make me feel comfortable. Perfect for adults and children. Great outside area safe for the children. Would definitely stay again! I had a wonderful 4-night stay at this apartment in Arouca. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I especially appreciated the secure compound with remote control access to the gate and parking. It gave me great peace of mind. The self-service check-in made everything seamless and stress-free. Mrs. Trudy and Mrs. Sherry were incredibly helpful and responsive throughout my stay. Highly recommended!

This was my second time staying in one of Karen’s properties . Her properties are breathtaking and just what I needed for the few days . She is available when needed and has a very positive aura. Water pressure, water temperature, cleanliness , decor , bed , pillows and comfortability is hands down in both properties. The peacefulness that surrounds the properties was everything , seems like the apartments are sound proof. lol . If I ever do a solo trip this is my place to stay . Communication , respect and positive energy is everything to me and Karen possess them all . Thank you Karen for a wonderful experience for the second time around .

This Airbnb was absolutely amazing—spotless, modern, and truly felt like home. The kitchen was fantastic; I was able to cook as if I were in a five-star restaurant. After dinner, I even enjoyed a game of chess, which was a nice touch. Nekesha’s hospitality went above and beyond. Her communication and understanding were exceptional—truly unmatched. She had clear house rules, and as long as you follow them and stay communicative, you’ll have a great experience. Even the neighbors were incredibly friendly and welcoming. This was definitely a 20/10 stay. Highly recommend!
