Me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed our time at Maria’s villa. The photos exceeded our expectations and the villa was very clean. Check in was very easy with Maria providing photos and a guide of the keys and how to open the pool. Maria was responsive to any query we had. As we didn’t have a car, we did need to use a lot of taxi services to commute to places such as the super market and to the beach front, which over the 2 weeks did mount up, however in the future we would hire a car to solve this problem. Air conditioning was not included in the price and needed to be requested and paid extra, however Maria was accommodating during our stay if we wanted to have the air con, Maria has kindly offered to include the air con in our price on our next stay as a loyalty reward which is very kind. Thank you for an amazing stay where we have made memories of a life time!

Visited Alvor with a group of friends for a long weekend. Excellent villa in a great location… 5 min walk to the harbour area and town centre. Everything we needed in the accommodation and it felt like home from home Highly recommended

We’ve just returned from staying at this wonderful home from home villa and are missing it already! Perfect place for a peaceful getaway - every detail thought of to make us welcome and many thoughtful touches . Julie was always responsive on the few occasions that we had questions and couldn’t have done more to help. If you’re considering booking this - we say go ahead - you’ll love it! Good location only a 10 minute stroll to bars and restaurants in charming Ferragudo, and an excellent base from which to explore the beautiful Algarve!

Really nice villa tucked away up the hill a 5-10 minute walk behind the marina in Lagos. 3 good sized bedrooms, plenty of space, bathrooms, amenities etc. The pool and outdoor space was also lovely, quiet and clean. Emily was super helpful, always responded promptly and helpfully. Sent really clear instructions for finding and accessing the property, made it clear that she was available if we needed anything but also left us to it. Even put some beers and snacks in the fridge as we were arriving late on a Sunday.

Vi var her 12 stk. med storfamilien frå Norge og Tyskland og koste oss veldig. Vi hadde god plass fordelt på 3 etasjer. Det meste var på plass. Det var fint å bu så sentralt, men likevel så roleg. Det hadde vore bra om ein kunne ha skaffa noen fleire stolar og solskjerming. Tusen takk, vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

La villa est un pur bonheur. Nous avons eu la surprise de voir que le carrelage au sol de l’ensemble de la maison avait été changée, ce qui donne un aspect moderne à cet villa qui a tous les charmes d’une maison familiale. On s’y sent comme chez soi et les différents espaces extérieurs sont travaillés. Les matériaux sont nobles. La propriétaire et son mari sont juste adorables. Pour information, après notre départ j’ai oublié mon passeport dans la maison. Le mari me l’a retrouvé et me l’a donné à 1h du matin. 😊 Je suis évidement navré de les avoir réveillé , mais cela démontre le cœur et l’âme de ces personnes. Villa idéal pour les groupes d’amis et génial pour les familles. Vraiment je recommande.

Wir hatten schöne 2 Wochen in der Unterkunft von Ingrid 😊 die Lage ist super, der Außenbereich ist traumhaft. Ein perfekter Rückzugsort um von dort die schönen Orte der Algarve zu erkunden.

We had a great stay, the villa was well positioned, spacious, very clean and perfect for a multi-generation family break. Communication with host was excellent. We had a great stay at the villa and look forward to visiting again soon.

The villa was absolutely beautiful. It looked exactly like the photos. It accommodated 6 adults and 2 children comfortably. Whilst we were there the towels were changed, beds were stripped, pool cleaned, gardens maintained. The villa is very well cared for. Agree with other reviews that you either need a car or be prepared to get a taxi (7 euros to the marina). The walk is doable but part of it is along a quick road with blind corners and no pavement. We didn’t feel safe doing it. We had one issue that was dealt with - thank you for the responsive communication. Thank you for the welcome drink left in the fridge. We were met personally on arrival and could check in early due to a morning flight. We would 100% stay here again and recommend.

Deze villa is een stuk beter dan de foto’s zeggen. Het is ruim opgezet en er is altijd een zitje beschikbaar in de schaduw. Zat handdoeken aanwezig dus die hoef je niet mee te nemen. Genoeg koelkastruimte(zelf een extra koelkast in de garage en nog een extra diepvrieskast). De bedden zijn wel aardig hard dus dat was even wennen. Verder is de ligging heel centraal. Wij hebben alles met de uber gedaan en die waren er met 5 minuten en kost €7-€10 voor een ritje naar strand Ferragudo. Binnen is er een zeer groot tv scherm aanwezig met satelliet tv. Ook een chromecast aanwezig dus je kan Netflix streamen. Heel handig als je de kindjes even achter de tv wilt zetten. Al met al een super verblijf!!

Had a wonderful 8 days at the villa. Cristina has been a wonderful host, helping us with any queries re the villa and surrounding area. The villa is fabulous, with amazing views of the beach and sea, peaceful surroundings and a beautiful pool area. It’s a 40min walk into Lagos harbour area, approx. And a 10min car drive. All the rooms were clean and minimalist which was perfect. It would have been nice to have had a shower holder/mount in our room (double that looks over the pool) as we had to use the showers in our friends rooms. The kitchen was fab and filled with all the utensils and equipment we needed. Living areas and balconies were comfortable and relaxing. Loved the neutral decor throughout. Would be more than happy to come back for a future stay. Thank you! ☺️

We had a lovely week here at the end of April! There was plenty of space for our family of 9 adults. The villa is private and peaceful and the views from the living area and balcony are amazing! We appreciated the fluffy towels in the bathrooms and the extra towels for pool use. A couple of bars and restaurants are in easy walking distance and we often walked to Ferragudo along the cliff path and beach. The villa is well located to visit other areas of the Algarve by car. Francisco was very helpful, allowing us to be flexible with the checking in and out times and recommending nearby restaurants.

Lovely villa with great views and superb swimming pool. We stayed with our 6 month old baby, and it was delightful that the pool could be heated. Would highly recommend!

Increíble property!! Spent a month here and it literally felt like home. Very comfortable to live in, has everything you need, has epic views and it’s really nice and peaceful. Couldn’t ask for anything more! Thank you for having me!

Excellent experience. The owner was amazing. One of our guest needed a dentist and the owner helped us secure dental emergency care. Very responsive. The house was beautiful and we truly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend this property. Thank you for making our stay so very special.

We enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for what we needed with our family and two young children. We all enjoy the pool so much, the kids enjoyed the playground. We appreciated the umbrella that was brought during our stay and the responsiveness of the host with some needs that came up during our stay. We had other family staying nearby and liked the location of being able to walk to their place along with a few different restaurants, and beautiful beaches.

Fijne plek om te verblijven. Lekker rustig, geen last van buren. 15 minuten naar het strand met de auto.

We were a family group of eight including three young children, and so the Villa suited us well. It is a lovely Villa, well furnished and provides all the accommodation you could want. The pool is a very good size, and has a gradual steps/slope in, and so it was ideal for our young children to play in the shallow end. We requested the pool heating, and the water was an ideal temperature for our holiday in late May/early June. The pool was well looked after and clean. The Villa has a really large garden and so is good for children to play and let off steam, and there is the further advantage of access to the driving range and tennis court. We used the BBQ, but most evenings went to one of the many restaurants in Alvor or by the beach. No need to worry about drink driving or walking as Ubers are plentiful and only 4 or 5 Euros into town. Double beds in all bedrooms was not ideal for our group, but Ursina did arrange for a cot and put u up to make it work for us.

Group of 6 of us had a lovely time here. was easy to drive into Lagos or get an Uber. Having an unsuited per bedroom was great. House was pristine and location was private and peaceful! There is some construction next door on weekdays which made some noise in the morning but didn't bother us ! Instructions were clear and place was easy to find.

We stayed in August 2025, we went as a family if 7, with 5 adults and two older children. The villa was really lovely, clean and spacious with a great pool. Gina had emailed some really useful information about the villa and the surrounding area, including places to eat drink. Although our arrival was delayed we were met by Kirsten who was very friendly and helpful. we made the best of the pool and garden which was a good space and ample for us all to use together. The village with bars, shops and restraunts were within an easy walk, although uphill on the way back. The only problems we met were the roof terrace that was included in the property description was locked and we couldn't access it. I would definately recommend this villa to friends and family.
