And after a recent renovation--you'll also enjoy new flooring, finishes, bedding and modern amenities. And if quiet tranquility isn't your thing. This tiny little village offers everything from a local bar and grill to nearby internationally-recognized museums.

Quiet place on the edge of town pet friendly

Quiet area with a lot of area around the property to park vehicles or boats. 5 acres around the house if your pets need to stretch their legs. Located 8 miles from wilson lake if you enjoy boating, swimming , fishing, or just enjoy being around the lake. Nice local cafe, and service station with a small grocery area. Laundromat a block away. Local liquor store and a theater. If your into art there are a couple art attractions in town also the garden of eden. Firepit area coming this spring!

Parliament Place

Parliament Place is a charming country brick structure built in the early 1950's. It is intended to be a quiet retreat from the hustle & bustle of city life where one can stay secluded, watch movies on the large screen TV , connect your computer or take a walk. The third bedroom doubles as a game room or as we call it, the "rest" room where one can read a book, play cards, put a puzzle together or as the title suggests, simply just relax and take a nap in the basket chair or on the twin bed.

Hunters Hideaway

Hunters Hideaway was designed for people who love the cabin feel while still located in town. Located in North Central Kansas- just 1 mile from the Waconda Lake (5 Miles from Glen Elder State Park). You can easily get to it through rain or shine. We do allow pets! We love our hunting dogs and consider them part of the family so it only makes sense to allow our guests to bring theirs! We do have a $15 pet fee and also require a signed waiver to ensure our lodge is well kept for each guest!

Farmhouse on Dry Creek

The farmhouse is located on Dry Creek in the Valley where the North Fork Solomon River runs just to the south. It's secluded but yet the farmhouse sits only 1.5 miles off Highway 281. The farmhouse is centrally located between Glen Elder State Park and Kirwin Reservoir, approximately 25 miles to either. The farmhouse is perfect for family gatherings, couples get away and of course fisherman's and hunter's too! Ground for hunting available for a fee. Expect to see cows, hay bales, etc.

Elm Street Lodge

Elm Street Lodge, located just one block from Main Street, is centrally located and is within walking distance to anything you will need for your stay. It features an open floor plan with beautiful original hardwoods and molding throughout the house. Just 20 minutes from the nearest lake where you will find great fishing as well as waterfowl hunting. North Central KS is also home to some of the best deer, turkey and upland bird hunting you can find.

Garden View Lodge

We do charge per guest. Pets are allowed but we do ask that you tell us ahead of time you are bringing them, they are not left unattended, and you clean up any messes inside and outside. The Old Mill and city park are across the street and the city pool is within walking distance, just two blocks away! Enjoy the fenced in back yard, deck, and play area for children. This house has two driveways and a two car attached garage. Our goal is to provide you with a comfortable home so you can enjoy all of the amenities our little town has to offer.

This cozy Hideaway is located 5 miles from Waconda Lake, one block North of Highway 24. Enjoy the laidback lifestyle of hunting and fishing. This two bedroom, one bath sleeps eight comfortably. Enjoy sporting events on the 86” flatscreen in the living room and prepare meals in the newly remodeled kitchen. This unique shop + house = shouse will guarantee a pleasant getaway.
