Holiday rentals with beach access in Portland

Sick a cozy and comfy little place. It was small but in a nice and cozy way. Extra linens and pulled provided and batteries were supplied within minutes of request. The beautiful beach was steps from the front door. Prefect getaway for a couple weekend.

The place was nice and private in a beautiful and quiet South Portland neighborhood. Getting into the unit requires some stair climbing (it’s on the 3rd story), but other than that it’s a great place for a couple to stay!

Adina’s airbnb is in an incredible location—we were able to walk to all of the restaurants we wanted to visit easily and it was only a 10-15 minute ride from the airport. The airbnb itself was perfect for my brother and I, since there is a bed and a pull-out couch that were both suitable. Adina was very good at anticipating our needs and at making sure everything was going well with our stay—she’s a wonderful host! Whenever I decide to stay in Portland again, I would be grateful to stay at her place.

We loved staying at Amelia’s place! It is super cute and even more spacious than the photos show. Our group of 5 had plenty of room to spread out in 2 living spaces and a big kitchen. We loved the location. It’s very walkable to the Eastern Promenade, restaurants, bakery, and even into Old Port and other areas of Portland. Amelia was very responsive, helpful, and friendly. We would love to stay at Amelia’s place again.

My wife and I stayed at Lisa's place for 3 days arriving very late on the first night. Lisa was very accommodating to our late arrival. The place was clean, very comfortable with a very well lit entrance, very safe for late night. The next day, we woke up and saw we were in a gorgeous area of the city and could walk to all the places we planned. Lisa had put together some information on local events for us and had sent us several links with information that we appreciated greatly. I could say a lot of things about the unit, but the best part was Lisa herself. This was the first time I had actually met a host and she was extremely friendly and engaging. I would stay here again or in any unit associated with Lisa.

Wonderful place to stay with ample places to go! Local restaurants ansd shops in walking distance, as well as beautiful views of the water close by. Suzy was a great host and the apartment was clean and cozy.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beachfront home with our extended family, including a total of 6 adults and 5 kids. We had two additional adults spend one night, there was plenty of room for everyone. The house was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a group of our size. The location is unbeatable, right on Drakes Island Beach, with incredible views and direct access to the sand. While we didn’t go in the water, we spent plenty of time relaxing on the beach, walking along the shore, and enjoying the peaceful setting. The home was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed. The large deck and open living spaces gave us plenty of room to spend time together and unwind. This was a perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway, and we’d absolutely return again. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Kathleen’s charming place in and had a wonderful experience. The space had everything we needed and was also perfect for my husband and me to work remotely. I worked from the second bedroom with the daybed, while my husband set up downstairs. The location is within walking distance to everything, and Kathleen gave us some great local recommendations. We’d love to stay again!

My family of four (two adults, 8 &6yo) stayed at Carol’s for a fall break visit to Portland. Carol was responsive ahead of the trip and flexible with our check-in time. She stayed in another guest house on the property. She checked on us at arrival and was friendly and respectful with every interaction. The location was perfect. Walking distance to the Eastern Prom park and other neighborhood spots. 5 mins to all other places in the East End and Old Port. Plus easy to get to places north and south. The house was just the right space for us.

We loved our stay (late May, 2025). The weather did not cooperate but the house was perfect. Thank you Debbi!

Beautiful home with everything and more for our girls trip. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and prompt to answer all of our questions. Can't wait to go back!

Jason as a host was responsive to our questions, and offered dining and activity advice. When we arrived, the house was so welcoming, cute, and comfortable. We parked in front of the house, the minivan was too large for the garage. The house smelled fresh and was clean. There are ocean views and peeks in almost every window. The beach is a short walk away, the host provides beach towels, chairs and a wagon to tow it with. The neighborhood was quiet and at night we heard the ocean waves crashing on the beach. The rooms were prettily decorated and the beds were comfortable. We all slept really well. Knowing there was only one shower between the 5 of us, we coordinated our use of the bathroom. However, there is a toilet on the first level and being able to do laundry was indispensable. When we visit Maine again next year, I can totally see us booking this adorable beach cottage with Jason again.

Wonderful little spot very close to the beach. Plenty of places to walk to from the location as well as a short drive to Old Orchard Beach. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Great place to stay if you want to be close to downtown but with a larger, comfortable space. The place is exactly as described, exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. No dollar store products here! The ground coffee and half and half really made it feel like we were staying at a friend’s home.

We had a great time! The condo is clean, cozy, and comfortable. I highly recommend this AirBnB, especially for the beach proximity.

Was the perfect little place for my fiancé and I to stay a few nice. Perfectly located across the street from the beach and very easy area to walk around. Would definitely recommend :)

We loved our stay! The space is beautiful and cozy. The walk to the family friendly beach was just the right distance for my 4yo. The neighborhood is adorable and friendly! With an amazing bakery and ice cream shop just around the corner! Dave was a great host and took great care of us.
