Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Portorož

We stayed here for one week with our 3 kids. The place is beautiful, very quiet yet close to Koper, a animated city (about 10 min by car). It's a good spot to start a trip to one of several beaches (20-30 min), famous caves (30-40 min) or Ljubljana (1h drive) or even hiking in the Triglav area (2h drive). The house itself is very nice, clean and offers everything you need. The kids especially loved the big pool which they could access whenever they wanted. Andreja is very kind and helpful and gave us a lot of great Tips. Thank you very much!

We loved staying at Elizabeta's. The house was even better than we expected, everything is clean and comfy. Elizabeta and her family are great hosts.

We stayed at Elvis’s place for a week and loved everything bout it. The apartment is tucked away is the tiny village of Ipsy . Upon arriving our first impression was WOW ! This a gem! The place is full of charm, history , and the view is one of the best in Istria Super clean and everything you need for your stay. The 3 terraces provide extra space to relax, read, dine outside while enjoying the views of Motovun Elvis has taken his family’s 250 year old home and added modern bathrooms and flooring without changing the integrity of the home. It’s very well done. The beds are comfy and showers are great and its quiet Ipsa, the winery and olive producer is right next door.. 😀. Loved it ! We were already in Nejc's beautiful house for the second time. It's simply an oasis of well-being! A great house that was furnished with a lot of taste. Everything you need to feel comfortable is there. The idyllic garden has delighted us every morning and our dog loves it there. To get to the coast, you have to plan 20 minutes by car, but it is definitely worth it. Nejc is a great host who is always available and yet absolutely preserves the privacy of his guests. We will definitely come back! Thank you Nejc!!!💖

Very nice accommodation, equipped with everything, tastefully decorated. They were waiting for us with prepared treats and coffee. Due to the long stay, we've also received cleaning and linen changes. The host is always kind and helpful. Thanks for the opportunity!

Sergeja’s place was great, since GPS is weird in the area she personally escorted us to the Airbnb, and let us know a shortcut The place was clean, had everything we needed and her hospitality is amazing! She is so welcoming and let us know if we needed any recommendations. Could not recommend enough!

Host is very helpful and communicative. The place is great but bring good shoes as the entire town is not easy to walk through and be ready to climb no matter where you go. Pool is great, spa is lovely. Goran is super nice

The location of this place is really wonderful: a wonderful view of the sea and the old town of Piran. In no time you are at the harbor, a bakery and a market are also not far away even if you have to put a few meters of altitude behind you. But the view makes up for it! The communication with Ana's father was extremely pleasant! Very helpful and completely straightforward! We will be happy to come back...

We had a great time at Emil’s apartment. The place was easy to find and Emil was flexible with our arrival time. It had great air con and everything we needed. The location is superb- sea views and only 10 mins down the steps to the local beach with inflatables for the kids. The walk to Piran had lots of places to take a dip when it got too hot. Eating under the grape vines on the veranda and Emil’s home made schnapps and olive oil were added bonuses. He was super helpful with transport to the bus station when we sadly had to leave.

We had a lovely time! The apartment is small but has everything you might need. Only two things missing - exhaust fan for the stove and drying rack. The area is very pretty and beaches are walkable. Huge plus is the free gated parking. One thing that surprised us overall in slovenia are the beaches - almost all concrete, very busy and very few “beautifully scenic” ones.

Beautiful apartment, recently refurbished, modern, cozy. But the real added value is the rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of Piran. Jovana is extremely attentive and friendly - making sure her guests have a great time. We sure did.

Very neat and beautiful apartment, lots of amenities and spacious. Everything is easily walkable, both the city center of Piran and the beach. Also some good restaurants just 500 m away. Definitely recommended to discover Piran and surroundings!

We spent 14 days with Franko and his wife Milena in the apartment. A great stay from front to back. Everything was as it was described. The location of the apartment is great in the middle of olive groves. The peace up there is indescribable and you can completely switch off. Franko and his wife are absolutely nice people with a good heart and always an open ear and very helpful. We can therefore only highly recommend the apartment to everyone, as well as the olive oil produced by Franko himself.

What an amazing and historic place! It was a great mix of authentic history with all of the newest, modern amenities. We couldnt have been happier.

The apartment was completely as described, plus you add a live charm, and then it's even nicer. The space is relatively small but brilliantly organized. Everything is in place. Stancic is quiet, ususky, warm and romantic. Natasha and Sammuele are very proactive and share everything in advance. There's a whole "book" recommendation left on what to see, where to go, where to eat. The street is two minutes from the seafront. The apartment is on the fourth floor which will give you a great view, all the way to the Miramare Castle.

Lovely place- easy walk to many things but off the beaten path. Beautiful apartment!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Simon's! Simon was very flexible and helpful at check-in. He personally helped us with parking and drove us to the home, providing great recommendations along the way. Would definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay and would happily book this apartment again. Despite its central location—right in the heart of the city and just a short walk from the sea, train station, and major attractions—the apartment was very quiet. It was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we could possibly need. A truly comfortable and convenient place to stay!

We had an amazing time at Maja’s place! Everything was just as described and on the pictures. The flat is decorated with so much love and still there is enough space for unpacking and storing your stuff. The campiello, where the apartment is located is just so beautiful and the location is perfect. Maja is extremely kind and taking care of everything one could need. The apartment is super clean and the beds are nice to get a good rest. I highly recommend this place and hope to come back soon.
