Holiday rentals with a patio in Povoa de Varzim

We had a lovely stay at this apartment in Porto! It’s located in a very cute neighborhood—quietly charming with local character, yet still very accessible to everything you might need. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in and communication smooth and pleasant. One of the real highlights is the terrace, which made for a perfect spot to relax with a coffee or a glass of wine. The apartment is next to a road, so you may hear some traffic, but the windows and doors do a great job of blocking out most of the noise—we had no issues sleeping. The bathroom is clean and modern, with the toilet inside (which is always convenient). The kitchen really impressed us—extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need for cooking at home. All in all, a great experience and we’d definitely recommend this apartment to other travelers!

Excellent property in a prime location. Easy access to all major sites within walking distance, and a very convenient parking lot right next door. We have stayed in several different apartments in Porto, but this one felt like a much more authentic experience and not a cookie cutter remodel like many other listings. Highly recommend this stay for anyone visiting Porto.

We loved our stay in Porto! The apartment was beautiful, clean and comfortable, and their instructions were very easy to follow. Having a spot to park our car was also a great perk, especially since you can walk to everywhere from this spot easily. We highly recommend this spot if you’re in Porto!

We had such a wonderful stay at Maria and Ana’s apartment! The apartment actually felt a bit bigger than the pictures showed, and there was a lot of storage space for all our stuff. Maria and Ana have anticipated everything you need so you can just start enjoying Porto. We absolutely LOVED the terrace—perfect spot to have breakfast and relax (the chairs are SUPER comfy). Finally, Maria and Ana were incredibly responsive—we had a few questions and got responses within minutes each time. Would absolutely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Jessica’s. What a lovely, clean well located spot! The place was well appointed. The decor was artsy and modern. The outdoor space was great to wind down in after busy days. The location was perfect!!!! Highly recommend!

Great apartment. About 15 mins walk along to the main shopping street. Close to metro. We walked everywhere but there are transport alternatives if you wish Apartment well kitted out, clean and lovely roof top to relax in the sun at the end of the day. Supermarkets and cafes and bars ( including real ale ) near by! Locals v friendly and gave suggestions too. Great wee sot and we felt safe ! Thanks

Our stay at Jon’s home was wonderful for our first trip the Porto. He was very helpful from the moment I booked with clear instructions and even allowed us to have an early check in. The terrace was our favorite part, we spent a lot of time there enjoying the beautiful views. Highly recommend staying here and it’s close to everything, thank you Jon for hosting us

Fantastic apartment with an incredible view over Porto! The location is on the less busy side of the river, which makes it nice and peaceful, but still very close to all restaurants and things to see. Fits the description well, and was clean and spacious. 10/10 would recommend or stay again.

Ein außergewöhnlich schönes Haus mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. es sind vier richtig schöne Doppelzimmer, also für bis zu 8 Personen richtig gut geeignet. Drei Badezimmer, eine große und richtig gut ausgestattete Küche und das Highlight: riesiges Wohnzimmer und Esszimmer. Der Garten ist auch sehr schön angelegt (und es gibt bald auch einen Pool!). Die Lage ist in Ordnung (reine Wohngegend), aber man kann direkt vom Haus sehr schön spazieren und Fahrrad fahren. In 10-15 Minuten mit dem Auto am Meer und in 45 Minuten in Porto. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, mit viel Liebe gestaltet und absolut zu empfehlen!

Espaço muito agradável, cuidado e confortável. As áreas são grandes. Todo o apartamento estava limpo e arrumado. Tem tudo o necessário para cozinhar. As camas eram confortáveis. O carro pode ficar numa garagem coberta pertencente à moradia. Tem acesso directo para a praia e um enorme terraço com vista para o mar. Excelente relação qualidade / preço. A Carla é muito simpática e responde rapidamente. Embora a entrada possa ser efectuada por código, a Carla fez questão de nos receber presencialmente. Recomendamos vivamente.

We had such a glorious stay, we cannot recommend it enough. Carolina was super responsive and accommodating, gave us amazing recommendations of restaurants and kindly booked a couple of reservations for us. Everything is within walking distance throughout the city. The apartment is surrounded with beautiful views. The plunge pool was a lovely bonus to cool down in the late afternoon, not overlooked at all. Thank you again x

Ruben und Mariana haben uns sehr freundlich in der Unterkunft empfangen und hatten einige sehr hilfreiche Tipps für die Gegend für uns. Wir haben eine ruhige Wohngegend in Standnähe und guter Erreichbarkeit in Zentrum Potos gesucht und in der Unterkunft absolut gefunden. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft absolut weiter!

Maria en haar co-host waren uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De locatie was schitterend en huis ook. Bijzonder is dat de slechte kwaliteiten van het huis niet op de foto presentatie te zien zijn. Zeer gedateerde badkamer, de helft van de verlichting deed het niet, na een klacht daarover moest een elektricien twee dagen zaken herstellen. De locatie is zeer slecht onderhouden, de afwasmachine valt spontaan uit het keukenblok en het geheel moet nodig gerenoveerd worden. Buitenmeubilair was kapot of moest nog gerepareerd worden bij onze aankomst. De buitenverlichting deed het in het geheel niet en de oplaadlampen geven onvoldoende licht daarvoor. Kortom, verblijf was zeer goed maar heb geen hoge verwachtingen bij het interieur. Maria heeft aangegeven dat het huis onder architectuur is gebouwd maar dat laat onverlet de onderhoudstoestand.

Ricardo has been responsive since the original booking months ago. The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable, apartment was quiet. He met us there to give the instructions in person and was quick to respond for any needs. This place is highly recommended!

Een fantastisch verblijf gehad in dit bijzondere appartement! De inrichting is met veel smaak gedaan en de kamers zijn ruim en comfortabel. Binnen was het heerlijk van temperatuur, ook tijdens warme dagen. Absolute hoogtepunt: de rooftop-keuken met zwembad – een geweldige plek om te ontspannen, te koken en te genieten van het zonnetje (of de natuurlijke schaduw). We hebben hier een heerlijke dag doorgebracht. Dankjewel voor de gastvrijheid, we komen graag nog eens terug!

We stayed for a full month and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The flat was exactly as pictured (if not better!) and spotless. It’s full of natural light, has high ceilings and is beautifully furnished with all the comforts of home. The hosts were incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and offered great tips to enhance our stay. The location gave us an authentic taste of Porto - lively at night and on weekends, with cafés and nightlife nearby. One small detail that really showed the hosts’ care: both sides of the bed had extension plugs, so we could charge multiple devices without unplugging lamps. All appliances worked perfectly, and the flat stayed fresh with the windows open. Truly a fantastic stay - we’re grateful to our hosts!

An amazing place to stay! The flat was lovely and clean, shower was nice and big and the bed was super comfy. Made the most of it being a ground floor flat by sunbathing just outside the little patio area and walking straight to the pool for a dip. Also a great location to walk into town for either the beach, shops or restaurants. Not too far to walk to the supermarket for food either. Adelina was always super quick to reply to messages, and was exceptionally friendly and helpful anytime we did message. Cannot recommend enough!!

The apartment was really nice and spacious with a big balcony where we enjoyed the sun. The kitchen was also well equipped with the essentials. Also a big plus was a private parking spot in the garage. Paula and her team were very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

This property was clearly remodeled and it stands out compared to other properties in Portugal. During my 8 day vacation I stayed in 4 different properties in the same country and this was the best one. The communication with the host was great, she usually responds very quickly. Property was clean and very close to some attractions of Porto. I would certainly recommend it and would return to it if I have the chance.

Joao was a super great host, very helpful and very flexible on check in which he met us personally to give us a walk through of everything. Very responsive and the place was perfect with a little garden to have coffee in the morning. Great location and enough provisions for our short stay. Highly recommend!

Excellent location and comfortable apartment - we stayed 3 nights, and it is within walking distance of many sights and restaurants, but remarkably quiet given where it is. A small balcony overlooks an interior courtyard. There is a coffee machine/electric kettle for tea, and a laundromat around the corner. Highly recommend.
