Holiday rentals in Praia da Aguda

The tower is part of a larger property, but pretty far from the main house and extremely quiet. The gal at the house was super friendly to help with check in and our bags as we arrived early. We had an issue with wifi, which wasn't able to be resolved during our stay (realized it after business hours and the next day was a holiday), but they helped us access internet for a work meeting and were accommodating. The tower was spectacular and the view was something else. The room is small, but we spent most of our time in Sintra or on the rooftop!

We had a wonderful stay! Just a short summary of pros and cons: + Antonio and Maria were great hosts - communication and help was excellent when needed. They brought fresh bread every morning which means less driving to the next town as a guest - fantastic! The house has an amazing view. which is almost unbeatable. The neighborhood is calm with no hotels/noise. - Compared to the fotos it was a bit smaller and older/with signs of normal use than we expected, but of course its sometimes difficult to tell by pictures. Since its southern Europe, be prepared for some insects (has nothing to do with the accommodation but might be helpful to know) - but Antonio and Maria had us prepared with some mosquito repellents and insecticide sprays. The lower bathroom has a strange smell when the drain hasn't been used regulary - but Antonio offered help immediately after we wold him and eventually it improved . All in all a great stay just with some small hints you should know - thank you again!

An unforgettable week in your holiday home Our week in your holiday home was truly a dream. The panoramic view over the ocean and the beach was breathtaking , waking up to that view every morning was pure magic. What made the stay extra special were the small observations that coloured local life. It was fascinating to see how people enthusiastically took selfies at the most beautiful places. It was also impressive to see how suppliers brought their products down the steep stairs – a true art in itself. The balcony was a true paradise: spacious, comfortable and with a view that invited us to enjoy the surroundings for hours. Although we noticed the musty air in the bedroom, we accepted this. With the tips we received to regulate the humidity, we were able to further optimise our stay. A fan for the night would be a welcome addition to improve the air circulation. The place is very cute and the beach and how open and undeveloped the beach was is unlike anywhere else. We did three days of surf lessons from Caeser who is literally 100ft from the house down the beach and there is surfing right out your front door with board and wetsuit rentals.. The town itself is a little bleak and there wasn't much to do and we found if the weather was bad restaurants close very early (like 6pm) so just make sure to find out times if you are planning on eating out for dinner. Our family of four was in love (2 boys ages 7 and 10) but my in laws came too who are in their early 80s. I clearly wasn't thinking bc the walk to the house is through the sand and hard to navigate, my mother in law also couldn't get over the sand dune to go to the beach, and the stairs in the house are more like a ladder. so it's wonderful for able bodies but if you have someone with special needs it may not be suitable. but otherwise if you love surfing, beautiful sunsets book it!

Such a beautiful place! The house is beautifully decorated, with an amazing atmosphere surrounded by nature. Everything felt thoughtfully designed and welcoming, it was a true pleasure to stay here. We were a big group and the moment we arrived, we were all completely charmed by the house. We had a great time and would definitely love to come back!

Mario place was absolutely beautiful. it is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and very welcoming. Mario is an incredible host and helped us with restaurants reservations as well as local recommendations. We felt right at home and truly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend Mario's place, it's simply magical.

The stay on the bus, Inácio, was great! I was looking for a quiet place to get away from Lisbon for a night and this is exactly what I found--a beautiful place in a quiet area near the beach. The bus is truly one of a kind. It's clean, it's efficient, it's cozy and it feel like staying in someone's home. It has everything you need for a short stay, I highly recommend it. Plus, Ana Rita is gracious, kind and helpful.

This place is exquisite. Definitely out of the busyness of the city. Calm, private, the sauna, hot tub and yoga studio were just incredible amenities. Beautiful highly recommend.
