Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Prainha, Alvor

Probably the loveliest and cutest holiday rental I have stayed in - actually wished we could have spend more down time in the flat, but there is just a lot to do in Algarve! Everything looks just like in the pictures and Carlos and Eileen have thought of everything guests might need. The highlight is definitely the green garden with the outdoor bathtub. The kitchen is also really well equipped. Carlos and Eileen provided an incredibly detailed virtual guide, which included instructions on how everything works in the flat (including video instructions on how to operate the coffee machine, blinds, etc), as well as loads of great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The bed is up below the ceiling, so it does get a little bit hotter there than in the rest of the flat, but with the aircon (which worked well and pretty quietly) it's totally fine.

Isabel was een hele aardig host. Ze was flexibel met de in- en uitcheck tijden en dacht graag met je mee. De omgeving rondom de Airbnb beschikt over een leuk (Italiaans/Portugees) restaurant en er is een heerlijke bakker (naast de brandweer) waar je kunt ontbijten. Verder vonden wij de ligging in de Algarve ook fijn. Alles was met maximaal een half uur te berijden. Kortom een echte aanrader en wij zouden zeker een keer terug willen komen!

Wir haben 5 Nächte im Häuschen von Mariana verbracht und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Eine kleine Oase der Ruhe . Wir haben den Außenbeleuchtung, vor allem den Pool gut nutzen können. Es gab genug verschiedenartige Bereiche. Die private Terrasse im ersten Stock war herrlich und privat. Die Küche haben wir nur zum Frühstück herrichten genutzt, da es jede Menge Restaurants in der Nähe gibt. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Wir verbrachten 8 wundervolle Tage in der Villa „Casa vista do mar“ – ein echtes Paradies. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl, umgeben von purer Natur mit atemberaubendem Ausblick. Das Ferienhaus ist top ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Dank Tobias’ Wegbeschreibung war die Anreise vom Flughafen Faro problemlos. Vor Ort stand uns Andrea zur Seite und versorgte uns direkt mit Infos zu Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Ausflugszielen. Wir konnten wunderbar abschalten und neue Energie tanken. Die Ruhe, die Aussicht und die liebevolle Betreuung machten unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich. Wir empfehlen dieses Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiter und wissen schon jetzt: Wir kommen wieder! Our stay at Casa Bombarda was the highlight of our trip—both the unit and Lagos completely exceeded our expectations. The home is absolutely beautiful, with three stunning outdoor spaces, including a rooftop patio where we enjoyed ocean views and unforgettable sunsets. Luis was a fantastic host—great with communication, full of helpful recommendations, and always quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. The unit is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and cleaning, which made our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. The location is ideal: a short walk to the heart of old town and close to amazing restaurants, shops, and beaches. Casa Bombarda went well above and beyond what we hoped for. We’ll always remember our time here and will be recommending it to everyone we know!

We absolutely loved our stay at Mónica and Carlo’s place! We were so close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. There was so much to do within a few minutes walk. The house was even better than the pictures and Monica and Carlo’s reached out throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, great house and hosts. Would love to come back again!

It’s our second visit here and we loved it as much as we did the first time, especially how’s there’s air conditioning! It’s a home from home with everything we needed. Sarah is helpful, friendly and responsive. See you next year

L’hôte a été super dès notre arrivée : elle nous a tout expliqué et fait visiter l’appartement et les alentours. Il y avait de petites attentions très appréciables comme du café, du thé et de l’eau à disposition. L’appartement était impeccable, conforme aux photos, très propre, rien à dire au niveau de l’hygiène. Le lit est confortable et tout est pensé pour qu’on se sente comme chez soi, et c’est exactement ce que nous avons ressenti. Si nous revenons à Portimão, nous reviendrons ici sans hésiter. Bonne continuation et à bientôt !😊

What a wonderful home we stayed in! Carla and Paolo are amazing hosts, very responsive and friendly. The house is beautiful and very well located next to all main attractions, restaurants, shops, promenade and beach. We had one small issue during our last day— we had no hot water but Paolo was proactive as soon as I messaged Carla and stopped by to check the boiler. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

Super séjour à Alvor dans ce charmant studio ! La vue est super, l'emplacement idéal et le logement est très bien entretenu. Nous avons aussi pu tester plusieurs restaurants accessibles à pied, qui nous avaient été conseillés par notre hôte. Je recommande !

An absolutely beautiful place to say, super clean, with comfortable bed , great swimming pool and a ton of little add ons like beach umbrellas were available etc . Both Oliver and Nina were so friendly and accommodating. It’s a truly peaceful place to stay in that gives you very relaxing atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back next year. Thank you to you both for having us.

Our stay was AMAZING! The apartment was exactly as described and was a perfect place for us to relax. As you can see in the photos, it's a 2 story and the deck space is amazing. Loved the layout, the close proximity to the beach, and all the restaurants in the area. We had a car and really appreciated the underground parking as well. Ana was phenomenal with her communication and check-in was very simple. In fact, Ana was incredible with her communication leading up to and during our stay. We were 2 couples and this was a great setup for us. 100% would recommend this apartment, and would love to stay again! Our 3 days in Portimao were super relaxing, which was exactly what we were looking for.

William was hands down the best host we’ve ever had. He prepared the most thoughtful and warm reception we’ve ever experienced - truly above and beyond. The apartment itself was absolutely incredible: spotless, beautifully designed, and in a perfect location. I honestly can’t recommend it enough. If you’re coming to Lagos, this is the place to stay.

Ich habe mich in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt und hatte eine traumhafte Zeit an der Algarve. José war sehr nett und zuvorkommend und hatte einige Tips für Restaurants in der Nähe, er war sehr bemüht und war immer erreichbar. Auch beim Check in war José flexibel und erklärte alles wichtige verständlich. Die Unterkunft war gemütlich und sauber und ein Perfekter Startpunkt um die Algarve zu erkunden, auch der nächstgelegene Strand ist wirklich schön. Danke für alles, gerne wieder!

I wish every Airbnb host could be as great as Joana! The best stay I have ever had by far!! The home is so cozy and in a great location. All the snacks and stocked fridge was very much appreciated and convenient so we did not have to leave every time we were hungry. 1000% recommend staying here, worth every penny!!!!!!

Fabulous location! Beach, amazing boardwalk, and town very near, just lots of stairs! But that is beautiful Portugal! Views from porch were fantastic; everything you needed was in the kitchen and it was a very welcoming place. We didn’t use the pool, but it is a good size and well maintained. Master shower is a bit tight, but a big beautiful bath is 5 steps away, so really no big deal. I would definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

Throughly enjoyed our 10 day stay in Colette’s spacious apartment. It was clean, well equipment and comfortable. Alto club had fantastic facilities and grounds are well kept. Colette is a great host, very helpful and informative. 100% recommend and I would love to return in the future. Ciara.

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ana’s place. The location is perfect! Beautiful beaches, excellent restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores are all just minutes away by foot. It’s also centrally located within the Algarve region, so if you have a rental car, you can plan on all kinds of amazing things to do and places to see. Her place also has some extras that made our stay perfect…a water cooler for refilling water bottles, a washing machine and a separate dryer, a soft-sided cooler with ice packs, beach towels, and a view of the ocean! Ana is an excellent host! She answered any and all questions quickly. We can’t wait to go back in the future!

Sehr herzlicher Empfang und eine sehr schöne Wohnung, in der wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Wohnung ist darüber hinaus sehr zentral und doch ruhig gelegen. Alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir bedanken uns ganz besonders bei Elaine und Stephen für einen gefüllten Kühlschrank, all die anderen Annehmlichkeiten sowie für die wunderbar herzliche Kommunikation. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

I completely endorse the comments that other guests have made. Ingmar’s apartment is a complete home with everything anyone would need for a relaxing stay & offers value & quality. The location is excellent, a hire car is not really necessary as there are bus stops just metres away for trips to the east & west Algarve. For those who like walking the location is perfect for ambles along the coastline & to beautiful beaches. Alvor with its varied restaurants, fantastic beaches & long boardwalk is a must visit. The 3 brothers beach & its restaurants, Sol & Sombre & Canico offer excellent food & a lovely place to swim & sunbath especially if you have children. A day spent there followed by a walk back to Ingmar’s apartment makes for an enjoyable day & a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. For those who like a lively nightlife head to Roche. Ingmar is a up there with the best super hosts.

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! The place was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for an amazing stay, Rosa!

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich rundum perfekt! Die Unterkunft war mindestens genauso schön wie auf den Bildern – super sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage ist ideal: ruhig, aber dennoch nah an Strand, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Nat ist unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Als wir ankamen, wartete sogar ein liebevolles Willkommensgeschenk auf uns – mit frischen Orangen und einer Flasche Wein. Eine wundervolle Geste, über die wir uns sehr gefreut haben! :) Besonders praktisch war auch die private Garage. Da wir mit einem Mietwagen unterwegs waren, konnten wir jederzeit entspannt parken und von dort aus die wunderschöne Gegend erkunden - ganz ohne Parkplatzsuche oder Stress. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt und wären am liebsten noch länger geblieben. Absolute Empfehlung – wir kommen gerne wieder! :)
