Holiday rentals in Prigradica, Blato

Franica's place is wonderful. It features an amazing deck that looks out over the sea and a smooth path that cuts through the rocky shore to a swimming dock and ladder. It sits in a cluster of seashore homes just a short walk from the center of Prigradica, which has a grocery store and a couple lovely seaside bars and restaurants. The apartment is secluded but Franica's info and pictures made it easy to find. I made dinner and found that the kitchen had everything I needed. I only stayed one night, and caught the morning ferry that stops in Prigradica and continues on to Hvar and Split. Proximity to the harbor and ferry stop is another perk!

Exactly what we were hoping for. Relaxing, comfortable and private, surrounded by nature and few steps from the beautiful Adriatic. Grano was a wonderful host, warm, kind and super easy to communicate with. Thank you, Grano!

We were personally and very warmly received by Lily, the manager. Everything you need is in the apartment, it is perfectly equipped. The covered terrace with the window front is ideal for sitting. Any communication with Lily or Sedja was great and all questions or requests were answered immediately. Even when we wanted to do laundry once, Lily was there the next day and did it for us - thank you for that. The two even visited us shortly before our departure, just to say hello and to get to know each other.

We loved staying at Franica's place. It was great value for money, accommodated 6 of us easily, and we spent hours either enjoying the view from the balcony or swimming in the harbour and beyond. Seemed to be mostly Croatian or regional tourists which was nice. Great wee shop down the road. We cooked at home a lot, might have done with a bit more prep space and a kettle (being a bit British here) but two bathrooms, two outdoor places, and nicely furnished and organised rooms. Lots of interesting places within 15-40 minutes of Prigadica e.g. Korcula town, Lumbarda (for taking small boats to islands) and you can also come from Split via a ferry. (Actually, I'm thinking I should be less positive as I don't want everyone to come to this charming spot!)

We spent 7 beautiful days at Maja’s Villa. The view was always amazing, the house itself was comfortable and clean. The location was isolated enough to feel peaceful, with a couple of excellent restaurants and easy walk away and a short drive of many several beautiful villages. We had some unusual circumstances, a power outage on the island, followed by a power outage for the region the next day. There was a heat wave so being without the air conditioning and refrigerator were a bit unpleasant. But the pool and ocean a few feet from the house helped us cope. Throughout, Maja and a local manager were in constant contact, keeping us informed and updated. They made great recommendations for a fishing/snorkeling trip with a stellar picnic. They also found cooking equipment for us so we could try making a Peka on our last night. Would recommend Maja’s Villa with no reservations!

Marija and her husband are the absolute perfect hosts. They were very friendly, accommodating and attentive. Marija always responded immediately to our inquiries. While the listing we booked ended up with some construction issues that didn't allow us to stay there, the alternative location that Marija and her husband provided for us was so peaceful, beautiful and right by the sea. I would highly recommend booking with Marija and her husband, you will not be disappointed! They are wonderful.

Coming to Prigradica with my sister and her 15-year-old grandson. We did not meet Smiljana (excellent exchanges, very responsive) held by a family mourning. His cousin received us at the ferry and drove us to the house. Very pleasant stay in a well-located house. Several access to the sea on foot, in 5-7 minutes to go down, more of course to go up. The beach, small, with a shower, is good for children but we quickly preferred the rocks, a ladder allows you to go down into the water. The water is just beautiful, the background very clear to explore to discover pretty fish. The grocery store is close to the beach. Quite expensive except for fruit and vegetables but very useful! We rented a car for 8 days, more than average experience with the landlord, but a car essential to discover Blato, Vela Luka, Korcula and all the beaches and coves you can wish for. A stay overall really heavenly!
