Getaway cabin w/loft & firepit @The Rustic Retreat

DanielaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay! The cabin was affordable, clean & even better in person. My kids had a great time & as a not-so outdoorsy family, it gave us the perfect balance of comfort & nature. Highly recommend!

Aviation lovers country home

MattRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Robert's farm and aviation paradise was so much fun for this nature lover. The apartment is wonderfully roomy and quite comfortable. And the fully kitchen makes it so easy to cook. The peacocks and the chickens — it's a real farm. And... the crown jewel of this location is the large outdoor deck right outside the living room, and _huge_ backyard and pond. And it doubles as an actual plane-landing strip. Sooooo cool. I enjoyed lots of time talking with Penny and Robert. And... the WiFi is now totally fixed and working super well. I'm a super-techie and have a high standard for this. Highly recommended. Enjoy!

The space was spotless! Furnishings were comfortable. High quality bedding and towels, including very thoughtful amenities. The host was friendly, proactive in providing all needed information and responsive to questions. Will be booking again when traveling to this area.

The Mill

KevinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great place, inside was spotless and smelled great! Katie met us on the front porch and gave us great ideas for dining, which all were in walking distance. She even sent me a color coded diagram on how to work the shower! Stayed here for work and will definitely stay here again!

River & Rail Guest House - One King Bedroom

CindyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The River & Rail stay is clean, cute and relaxing. The bed is very comfortable and the 11:00 am checkout is a plus. Having a fire by the river was our favorite part, with the strawberry moon being the cherry on top! We only stayed one night which was not enough time to explore this charming city. Be aware that the train goes by several times a night but to me it just added to the ambience. You won’t regret staying at the River & Rail. ❤️✌🏻

Mississippi River Oasis

MarioRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This home is perfect for any trip adjacent to the Mississippi River. You get a great view of the river from the porch. There are also a few barges you can see coming in and out from a nearby wheat distributor. The place is otherwise tranquil and very quiet. Perfect for relaxing outside during good weather. The bedrooms, restroom, kitchen, living room and sunroom were all clean and well-stocked. Only complaint would be that the lighting was a bit dim even with all the lights on and the sun coming in. The location is a perfect midway point between a lot of cities. Less than an hour away from the QuadCities in the South and Dubuque/Galena in the North. If you need any groceries or much of anything else you need to take the bridge to Clinton, IA (10 min). The other closest towns of Albany and Fulton don't offer up much more than a gas station, antique store, or cafe. Overall an excellent spot to stay even if you don't plan on getting out much.
