Loft holiday rentals in Province of Matera

I can’t say enough good things about Anna Maria’s place. First off she so generously offered to pick me up at the train station with a big hug and warm welcome! I then was taken to the most magical and inspirational home & art studio. It’s seriously one of the most beautiful and unique homes I’ve stayed in. And it’s so intimate because you get to see years and years of love from her artistic creations and gifts from friends all over the world. The beds are very comfortable, I slept amazing! The shower is great with hot water and amazing water pressure. The kitchen is immaculate and she stocked the home with farm fresh eggs, fruit, and natural wine from her vineyard. The location is very quiet, only a minute from a grocery store and a close walk to the Sassi. I feel so grateful for a stay and now have a forever friend in matera. Will definitely be back— thank you thank you!

Perfect place to stay for visiting Matera. Very easy to walk into town. Place is very cosy and clean

The apartment is in the middle of Matera old town, countless restaurants around, super nice city but also the apartment.

La casa è deliziosa, curata nei minimi dettagli. L’host è gentile e premuroso , la posizione dell’alloggio ideale per escursioni ai piccoli borghi dei dintorni.

María Pía y su marido unos genios de amigables y atentos ! Nosotras viajábamos en auto y nos cuidaron un lugar de aparcamiento público en frente a la casa , ya que es difícil conseguir uno, nos sentimos muy contenidas con este gesto! Altamente recomendable para visitar una de las tres ciudades más antiguas del mundo!

accoglienza superlativa 12 stelle il massimo di quello che abbiamo avuto a disposizione penso che neanche un hotel a 12 stelle avrebbe fatto di meglio ringrazio Rosaria anche da parte di mia moglie per quello che ci ha dato oltre ovviamente a cortesia gentilezza e disponibilità, grazie Rosaria. The accomodation was very close to the historical area of sassi. It was very spacious and that bath tub was working as well. Kitchen and bathroom were also very clean. Vincenzo allowed us to check in earlier than the designated time. We recommend this place!
