Depandance Fico

The Depandance Fico is inside a VILLA from the 1700s located in the heart of Abruzzo, surrounded by a beautiful hilly landscape, which has the GRAN SASSO massif as its backdrop, about 25 km from the beaches of the Adriatic Sea. The Depandance Fico was the pantry of the house, where jams, sauces and pickled vegetables were stored. As children, they stole the black cherries in syrup, sinking their hands into the jars. After the restoration, it became an apartment with 2 bedrooms, a living room and a bathroom.

Decorated in a rustic style inspired by traditional Italian country homes, it features historical details reflecting rural life in Italy. Old stone was build in the early 20th century and recently restructured respecting its original characteristics. Where the kitchen and lounge area with fireplace are now, there was previously the cow stall and hayloft (common areas on the ground level). On the last floor we have this indipendent room with a double bedroom and private bathroom well-equipped coffie corner. Outiside a terrace with an amazing view on the valley, ideal for breakfast, cocktails and barbeque.
