The accommodation is a little far from the city, but perfect for living the complete experience of living or spending a few days in the Jungle, we could see monkeys on the way to the road and variety of birds, squirrels and other animals, it is a quiet place and one feels safe with the mascotites that there are at home, we had slight problems with the water but we were able to solve it quickly, the Check in was flexible and the neighbors were able to recommend a nearby pool where in the heat we could cool off.

Beautiful Spacious House On the Water (near plaza)

Nothing beats the heat like canopy shade and being by the water. We offer a complete Airbnb experience in some of the last remaining jungle in town (a 3 min walk from the main plaza). With gorgeous views of the river and iconic bridge, the property is shaded by greenery & traditional leaf roofing. Adorable monkeys, sloths & birds often visit. We have a trail down to the water with a private beach in dry season. Rooms are cozy, rustic & clean. Wi-Fi is fast & reliable. We hope to meet soon!

It was the most affordable accommodation available. For the price it is a great place! The space is great and the location is a short taxi ride to Puerto Maldonado’s main attractions. I did wake up with some mosquito bites but it’s possible there is just no getting away from that.
