Amazing and lovely cottage, this place is magical!! We love the European style and the views are fantastic! The hot pool is definitely a plus! The team was also amazing! They allowed us to late check out and the communication was really good! We definitely recommend this place 100%

What a special place to spend a few days in the city. It was a corner of peace surrounded by a mini rainforest that Maureen and Stephan had beautiful curated. They had thought about all the little details, with blankets and a heater as we were going into winter, some supplies of tea, coffee etc, a mini laundry and the icing on the cake was the hot tub. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place! Would highly recommend.

This place is absolutely astonishing! I came here with my family for a few days and am so glad that we did. This place has one of the best views I have ever seen, you can see both sunset and sunrise from the same deck! Anyways, absolutely a highlight of the trip so far and can’t wait to come back!

Staying at Shona's place was a joy - she was super responsive and helpful, checking in and out was easy and the place was comfortable and peaceful. Lots of games and ammenities provided, close to Matakana town but far enough away to feel like an escape. Would happily recommend this spot!

The view from Duane's place is stunning! Everything was clean and tidy and we loved the location. Beds were comfortable and there was lots of space for our family. We appreciated the paddle boards and kayaks even if the weather didn't quite cooperate with us towards the end of our stay. I can highly recommend Duane's place. Thanks for having us!

We had a fantastic stay at this accommodation! The location is peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect getaway while still being conveniently close to everything we needed. The house itself is well-equipped with plenty of amenities, and the facilities were spotless and well-maintained. One of the highlights was how great the space is for entertaining guests—it’s an ideal spot for bringing extended family together, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy. The hosts were incredibly easy to communicate with and very flexible, which made the whole experience even better. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-appointed stay! We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful house, we had a great stay at Fiona's place! It's a great location too, it was lovely being able to walk down to the beach. Everything is as listed and looks like the photos, would definitely recommend to other guests.

Our second time staying here and again it took our breath away. The serenity of the view, cleanliness, and all the things available for use including kitchen equipment etc is perfect. The kids loved it too and we could easily spend weeks on end at Michael’s beautiful home. Thank you again and we will be back :-)

This place is amazing and beautiful. The house is very well maintained and as it looks in the pictures. The pool was clean and big and nice, hot tub was also great. The house is very spacious and has a great speaker system. Check in was easy and you truly have the entire estate to yourself. My only negative feedback was on the golf course. I booked this place so I could play golf and the course is unplayable. Still had fun hitting balls around but it’s not been well maintained. Also, the bbq wasn’t clean enough to cook on. Everything else was great.

We really enjoyed our stay. Carina went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Enjoyed the little touches, well stocked kitchen, games. Highlight was watching the stars whilst enjoying the warmth of the spa pool. Thank you Carina for letting us into your home. Whangamateau is a beautiful area, with many little walks to enjoy.

wonderful location on the hilltop, beautiful view a bit tricky to find, but follow the map and be ready for a hike, but it's worth it.

The house is situated on top of a hill with a breathtaking view. Our families of 10 adults and 4 children spent four nights at the lodge. The house is like maze. Plenty of space for everyone. It's clean, fresh linen and towels and reliable wifi. The kitchen is very well equipped to cater for large groups. The outdoor BBQ and pizza oven were a bonus. Plenty of things for the kids too i.e. trampoline, table tennis, throwing darts and toys. Great communication from the host Daniel. He sent clear and easy to follow instructions a few days before our arrival. We want to go back again and would definitely recommend this place.

The cottage is beautiful, private & serene. The landscaping, views and indoor and outdoor furnishings complement the look and feel and you can’t help but appreciate the space and the environment. It’s clean, the kitchen is modern and equipped with everything you need. There are shops only a few mins drive up the road but you really do think and feel like you are secluded from hustle and bustle. I highly recommend this place to a couple looking for a private getaway or someone looking to unwind. Thank you Nicky and family

Such a beautiful property. Was the perfect place for our wedding party to get ready for the day and to take some amazing pictures in the garden. Just a few smaller details would have been nice like having tea towels or another sheet set for the roll out bed, but very minor.

What an amazing and Beautiful home, so many things to do, from pool table, pinball machine , big movie projector where it was so relaxing with the kids to snuggle in front of fire place. Daisy is of the best Host I have come across, so responsive to all messages, also she is very accommodating to requests we asked of her. Definitely recommend Daisy beautiful home to anyone who is looking for a place with all ammenities, feel real homely inside & even outdoors with pool & spa , trampoline for children & swing, big lawn outside where kids or family groups can run freely. This house is absolutely stunning. It sits on a private beach with magnificent sea views and a big deck looking out over the ocean. It’s surrounded by native bush, loads of birds and a feeling of privacy & serenity. The ocean-facing doors and windows all open up so it has a wonderful indoor/outdoor flow. There’s a lovely hot tub with a sea view too! Downstairs, there are the living spaces and upstairs, the bedrooms. The bedrooms are lovely - three large rooms with double (maybe queen or king??) beds, as well as two ‘kids rooms’ with twin beds and/or bunks. Two of the larger double rooms have private balconies & ensuites. It’s a beautiful & delightful house. Very well appointed. Perfect for a larger group, close to Matakana, Omaha and all of the lovely things to do there. We’ll be back! We had a fabulous stay at Pinki’s cabin! The sunsets were AMAZING and the tranquility of the location something special. Great place from which to explore Karekare and piha as well as just relax on the deck. The cabin was perfectly set up for 2 people. Outdoor shower a real plus too. Only thing I would do differently next time would be to bring some mosquito coils and/or plug-in diffuser to help keep the bugs out of the cabin in the evening. And, if the weather is forecasted to be warm overnight, an electric fan. We would highly recommend Pinki’s place for your next stay!

Fantastic winter weekend getaway! Very cozy with the fireplace and hot tub was great. Very private and secluded but still very close to Mangawhai and Langs Beach.

This honestly has been my very best BnB experience. Stunning location, beautifully positioned, warm cozy accommodation, great outdoor area and incredible views. Idyllic little setting, beautiful place surrounded by nature. Walk into onetangi or up and along the footpath to the Heke, Postage Stamp and Tanatalus. Hut was perfect, loved the climb up to the bed and window looking out into the trees. Hot tub was such a treat, and there’s a gas bbq. Everything you need, would highly recommend! Hosts were communicative, really accommodating and flexible.
