Holiday rentals with beach access in Punta Islita

I have stayed here before and will definitely stay again! It’s close to great restaurants and the beach. The pool is great for when it gets too hot and you need a break from the heat.

Right in the heart of a wild Reserve, with beautiful birds flying round as you relax by the pool with freshly made juice in hand and your jumbo shrimp on the bbq. What more could you want? Walk 10min and your on an epic surf beach, Playa Camaronal. Most consistent in the region and very few people ever on it. Drive further and you have the most secluded peaceful beaches where turtles lay their eggs at night (4x4 recommend ). Drive 10min the opposite direction and your on a huge white beach lined with shady palm trees; Playa Carrillo is a local favorite on the weekends but empty all week. Dayana was an amazing host, she was so quick to respond and bring anything we needed to the property. Didn't need much as the place was impressively kitted out. She had loads of suggestions where to go and was super understanding of our needs with a 16month old. Perfect place for kids in the gated compound. You can even rent all 3 flats so the whole family are together.

Our stay was amazing! Justin was awesome, giving us easy instructions and was so friendly. The walk into town only took about 10 minutes, felt super safe and was enjoyable. The room itself was very clean, comfortable and had some much needed AC! Would for sure come back, 10/10 stay! Check out Cosita close by for some delicious authentic Italian pizza too!

Loved my stay here. Saoussen's team was quick to respond to any texts & were endlessly helpful (thanks Pablo!) Above and beyond what i expected. The casita was impeccably clean, comfortable, bright, and private. The neighbourhood was much more rustic than i expected, even based on my independent research. That is neither good nor bad, just surprising. Ultimately it suited me very well because i was not looking for a resort experience & really enjoyed the simplicity of the very small community of Playa Pelada, where everything I wanted was close: groceries were near by, Sunrise Coffee for excellent breakfasts, a handful of restaurants to choose from and the beach is 2 blocks away. I would recommend flying from Liberia to Nosara — it’s no more expensive than the shuttle van but so much faster and avoids the brutal roads. And Saoussen's team made arranging that very easy. I can be a nervous traveller, especially on my own. But they put my worries to rest by truly exemplifying Pura Vida!

The location of this place was absolutely perfect!! Walking distance to the beach and several great restaurants. The yoga classes were amazing and there was even a DJ one night. The pool was great also. The place was clean, and patio was nice to sit on. We did experience ants in the bathroom one night, but once we got rid of them they didn’t come back. Overall great and very accommodating.

Such a gorgeous little spot in the heart of Guiones. Super close to the beach, restaurants and shops, but still tranquil! Check-in was so easy and clear, the communication was immediate, and though I am familiar with Nosara, the host offered a lot of information on the area and resources for potential needs (tours, transport etc.). The place was beautiful, loved the open-air kitchen - fully stocked with all of the appliances and kitchenware one might need. The room and bathroom were immaculate, beautifully designed - loved the bay window day bed! Overall had a wonderful stay, and would absolutely stay here again.

Nos encantamos Casa Sea Breeze! It exceeded our expectations and made for a wonderful time spent in Sámara! Bathroom set up was great for a family beach trip, interior space was lovely and the outdoor space was incredible and very well maintained! The outdoor shower was great after time spent at the beach. Beds were very comfy, AC in the bedrooms made for a great night’s rest and the decor was lovely too. Oscar and his mom were wonderful hosts, truly welcoming and so very helpful. Location on the beach was stunning and perfect, along with the close proximity to town. Truly one of the best homes we’ve vacationed in, and we’re hopeful to return one day!

We had such a lovely time staying at Casa De Celeste. The property was absolutely gorgeous and in close proximity to town and adventures. It was the perfect getaway before our wedding. The caretaker Vincente was so kind and very helpful. He truly made the place feel like home. We will return and are looking forward to that day. I highly recommend this property.

Our family of five (with three kids under four) had the most incredible month at this Airbnb! The location was perfect, with a breathtakingly gorgeous beach just steps away. We felt completely safe the entire time, which was so important with little ones. The house itself was comfortable and well-maintained, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the wonderful staff. Maureen, the housekeeper, was incredibly helpful and kind, making everything seamless for us. And we can’t recommend Domingo the cook enough—her dinners were a highlight of our trip! We used her services every night, and every meal was absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a stress-free, beautiful getaway with top-notch hospitality, this is the place to be! We can’t wait to return!

Four of us stayed at the Hidden Jewel and it was absolutely a beautiful spot to mark birthday occasions. The view is amazing and so peaceful. Spotless bbq was a bonus to keep the heat outside. Everything was clean, no clutter and the bedrooms had ample room for clothing. The pool was a real bonus as the weather was very hot so nice to have that to cool off. The one thing we were disappointed in was that we expected the pool to be maintained more often. We realize that this home is high up in the hills and will get debris from all the trees however it sounded like there would be more maintaining of the pool. We only saw the pool maintenance guy once over 9 days.He vacuumed the bottom of pool but never looked at the skimmer. By day 6 of our stay we had so much debris in pool we didn’t want to go in. Also road up to house, definitely need 4 wheel. Many cars could not get up like Uber driver who took us to dinner had to drop us midway along with airport taxi.

We had the most amazing stay in this beautiful retreat! The location is simply amazing, the views of the valley were breathtaking and we loved sitting on the balcony looking out at the ocean view! We enjoyed the drive into Samara each day, and there were 2 amazing beaches just a few minutes from the house! The howler monkeys were everyone's highlight as they came to visit the surrounding trees a few times. The hosts were amazing and the property manager and staff were super friendly and helpful. We simply can't say enough about this place, and we're already looking at the calendar to see when we can return for another stay!

Laura’s place is cozy and feels very local. The front porch is amazing! You can hear the waves and the birds and monkeys. Fans keep it cool enough. Easy walk to beach and good restaurants right on the same road.

This place was amazing, the pool is the perfect temperature, the house is stunning surrounded by nature. Secure and safe when locking up for the night, you need 4x4 getting up the hill but it was a the perfect mini staycation

The accommodation is very nice and well located. Marisa is amazing! She even added furniture before we arrived to accommodate us so we can have 4 meals around a table outside as well as inside. Super well decorated. Vegetation makes us feel good. Very well insulated inside so as not to hear the quad bikes passing on the main street. We loved it!

We really loved the peacefulness of this condo. Being away from the tourist destinations, quiet, and a beautiful view was just what we needed. Perfect to just relax, enjoy the beach, and recharge.

Great host, super responsive and gave a nice list of all the places to eat around would definitely go back!

The place met our expectations, we had the opportunity to walk to the beach because it is so close. Access was easy and there are shops (restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, etc.) quite close. My husband and I had a great time! Thank you both for your attention and prompt response.

The condo was beautiful, and you can't beat the view. Any questions we had were quickly addressed. The pool was really nice as well. You can't really walk to town safely because there is no sidewalk and it's a busy main road. Adults should be able to during the day I guess, we never attempted it. You can walk to town via the beach, the walk to the beach is easy. We would definitely stay there again!

Mariajo's apartment is very comfortable and modern. It has all the necessary appliances and utensils to live. It is also in a very quiet area, which allows you to quickly reach all the places of Santa Teresa / Mal Pais. Mariajo is very attentive and helpful. It helped us with everything we needed. I 100% recommend this place and especially the host!
