It boasts a secluded feel, gorgeous view, and updated interior. While summer access is easy, winter guests must have a 4wd vehicle with high clearance, tire chains. A willingness to park at the top and hike, sled, ski or snowshoe about 50 yards to the cabin is required! Pets welcomed, but must be pre approved by Host.

Vallecito Lake is directly across the street as well as the boat marina where you can rent a pontoon, kayak, paddle board, and more. The front porch offers beautiful views of the mountain and lake, and you can also enjoy the lakeside view from the dining table. Durango is about 25 minutes from Durango during the summer and about 35 to 40 min during the winter.
