Frequented by wildlife you will often see deer, hummingbird, fox or turkey on your drive up the private 1.7 mile road that traverses the mountain. The home is solar assisted & made of eco-friendly Straw Bale construction. Walk barefoot on warm radiant heat floors in the winter.

Ranch-style 460 sq ft studio with full bathroom & attached kitchen area. This studio has epic views of the creek & mountains and is located 200 ft from the main house. We have been told it is of the most beautiful locations in Colorado! 15 minutes to downtown Durango, 20 minutes to Purgatory Ski Resort, and 5 minutes to the Hot Springs & a shopping plaza, and 40 minutes to the airport. There is a cafe/gas station/liquor store across the road. We also have another airbnb here with a spa deck!
