Holiday rentals with lake access in Quintana Roo

It is difficult to put in words how amazing our experience at Casa Sol & Luna was, you have to experience it yourself. Firstly, Bacalar is so breathtaking that no pictures you see online make it justice. The location in Bacalar is one of the best, right at Cenote Esmeralda. Next, the house is very well kept, convenient and fully equipped. You have everything you need for a comfortable and fun stay - infinity pool, room balconies, outdoor grill area, large dock, kayaks, paddle boards. Finally, the cherry on top was Pablo and Celeste! You are greeted and taken complete care of by 2 wonderful people throughout your stay. They keep the house looking pristine everyday are genuinely interested in you having a good time. We separately paid them to cook breakfast and lunch and it was the best decision of the trip. Without Pablo and Celeste our trip would not have been the same. Our entire crew loved Pablo and Celeste. The house and pool were even better than the pictures! Such a beautiful place to stay and in a lovely, quiet gated community. Everything was perfect. Leticia is a fantastic host, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and beyond. We would definitely recommend staying here. Definitely helpful to have a car to explore as the villa is a few km out of Valladolid

Robin’s place was perfect for our multi-generation family holiday. The simple studio apartment on the ground floor was perfect for me and my little kids, and the more luxurious apartment upstairs was very comfortable for grandparents and aunt&uncle! The pool and backyard were tidied daily (the pool was so refreshing and a big hit with the kids), and the beach was just a quick walk over the road. We were perfectly situated for a relaxing and peaceful family trip. Robin organized a van and driver to drive us to and from the airport, and a chef took cook dinners for us — which was such a treat! Robin was super responsive and friendly and always very quick to reply. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to others!

The place is great, it has everything to spend a few pleasant days. The host was very helpful at all time. It has a very good location, it is safe and is in front of the lagoon.

Very nice location with private access to the lagoon. We spent the majority of the time outdoors. Everything is set up in this direction. (Palapa, Hammocks, sun loungers, canoes, BBQ etc) The A/C in the rooms is essential at night, given the temperatures:) The host is very responsive to any questions or issues. We enjoyed a lot during this quiet stay. A real little paradise!

Great location right on the lake. We especially enjoyed spending time in the outdoor eating area (with full kitchenette), and swimming and watersports activities right off the private pier. Note that the property has bedrooms in two separate buildings. Two bedrooms are lakefront, and the remaining bedrooms are a bit further back in a separate building, which also includes a kitchen and outdoor seating. The property was clean and well kept, albeit a bit dated. Location is about 5 minute drive into town. Overall a great spot for a few days in Bacalar.

What can I say! Our time at Crystal's property was absolutely amazing. Even though the jungle experience was new to us, we were relieved to feel immediately at home at Casa y Palapa de la Selva. The fact that such beautiful cenotes were only a quick walk away was truly unbelievable & our favorite part of the trip. We were excited to see monkeys, butterflies, capybaras & more. The house and palapa comfortably suited 6 people. We loved the fact that the walls are screened in, which allowed for a fresh air breeze to keep us cool throughout the night. Keep in mind that the two bedrooms shown for the house are all technically one large loft room, with 2 beds separated by the staircase. We are so grateful to Casey, who always made herself available and was immediately responsive for all of our needs. In general, every person we met was lovely and made us feel so safe & welcome. We are in awe of the incredible community at Sacbe and hope to return one day soon. Gracias por todo!

Everything was excellent!! The arrival instructions were clear and even allowed us to store our luggage in advance and we are very grateful. Few hosts currently allow it. They welcomed us and showed us the apartment's amenities. The truth is, we were delighted with the apartment, the pool, the very quiet area and if you don't have a car you can move around at all times on Route 1 or Uber, The host also made some recommendations. We felt at home, we didn't want to leave. The pool is huge, we rested very well and without a doubt you feel that they strive to keep everything good for their guest and I insist, it is appreciated. Do not hesitate to book it, believe me it will be worth it. As mentioned, right in front is the xailing pier to Isla Mujeres. Another thing, it also has a washing machine with clear instructions for its use. I confirm, I totally recommend the accommodation.

Rudy's place is exactly as described. It was so cute and extremely clean! Rudy made sure he sent the rules of the home as well as a brochure to what to do in Playa as far as excursions, food beaches and etc. Rudy was on vacation himself; however Rolando was extremely helpful. I can text this man in the late evening with a question and he would respond back in less than 30mins and I thought that was impressive for a past 10pm response. For those passionate in regard to visiting Playa Del Carmen I can say this is the Airbnb to book!

Great location, 10min walk to the beach and ferry. House itself was clean and quiet, AC worked great. Hosts were helpful when needed and did not hover or check in unnecessarily.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Perfect distance to the beach and the town by bike. The flat itself was very modern and clean. Rooftop pool sunset was incredible! Host was helpful with recommendations and responded quickly. Would recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay in this fantastic location. This is an extremely special place, the apartment is fabulously equipped and the terrace is simply superb. Shops and restaurants are nearby and everyone we met was so friendly.

This place is an absolute gem. The condo is stunning and well maintained. The room is very nicely decorated and comfortable for very long stays. Ivan is very attentive to anything that is needed and is very responsive. Check in is extremely easy. The location is fantastic. Hard to beat, extremely pleasant stay and would 100% stay again! I'd highly recommend to anyone. :)

The house is right on the Laguna. What a great place! The shared areas are nice and clean. The house is on the outskirts of Bacalar, but the town center is close by and on walking distance. Olga is an amazing host, who takes care of her house and the guests. I would definitely recommend staying at Olga’s place if you have planes to visit Bacalar.

I can say that if you are looking for peace, tranquility and to disconnect to think, this is the ideal place. A heavenly place far from the hustle and bustle and pollution. Deysy was always attentive and kind to our needs. Highly recommended. See you soon!

A very good option for family stays, each room has its own bathroom, the pool is good size, the private dock was our favorite part. We bring a board and tour the mangrove.

Excellent accommodation with access to the private lagoon, you have all amenities to spend it excellent, grill, kitchen, table, kayak. Very nice, we will definitely come back.

You won't find a better place to stay in Bacalar! I saw the "fancy" accommodations and they are lovely with great views - however, they aren't located ON the lagoon and don't have nearly as much peace and tranquility that Olga's place offers. It's the perfect place to rest your body and your spirit <3 Kayaks and bicycles are available at no extra cost, as well as a laundry room! The kitchen and bathrooms are always clean and Olga is always ready with a recommendation or assist with whatever you need! The RV is clean, cozy, and pretty comfortable. I slept well every night with just the breeze from the lagoon and a fan on low. HIGHLY recommend this lovely stay =D
