The apartment has a variety of original Maltese features and provides an authentic experience. In the hart of the historic Malta, set right at the magnificent waterfront of the oldest of the Three cities (founded by the Knights in 1552), this apartment offers stunning views, authentic historical setting for the sophisticated traveler and all the modern conveniences at a knock-down price! Among the latter we count convenient ferry, bus and water taxi transport links to Valletta and beyond, exquisite restaurant and bar outlets just across the creek, plus the numerous local establishments at hand. The apartment is furnished with a tasteful emphasis on the original Maltese features now rapidly disappearing throughout the island's noisier and busier tourist areas. These features include traditional patterned tiles (to keep the weary traveler's feet cool in the heat), traditional Maltese balcony insightfully converted into a dining room with breath-taking views of the Grand harbour and the cities of Valletta and Vittoriosa (beautiful settings should finally be counted as the necessary condition for healthy eating and living!). All the amenities of the town (shops, restaurants/bars , supermarkets) are close by or only a short walk away. The alleys are traffic free and are therefore quiet and peaceful. The main bus terminus for the island is a 10 minute walk away. Victoria is at the centre of the island so it is easy to explore everywhere from here. This house is approx 300 years old, where old meets new, having traditional floor tiles, stone staircase and wooden beams. It is situated in the lovely village of Rabat only 2mins walk from the old capital city of Mdina, the Roman Villa, Howard Gardens and many other historical places. It is a 1 minute walk away from the main bus terminus and parking area, restaurants and shops. The Sunday market is within walking distance. Although having all amenities, it is a quite pedestrian street.
