Great property, great host, and wonderful stay! The property is spacious, well appointed, very clean and fresh, and a retreat away from home! We really enjoyed our stay with 3 adults and 6 kids at the property. We had plenty of space, enjoyed the fireplace with the wood provided, and even the chickens. As we have chickens at home that just added to the appeal. This location worked really well for hitting the glowworms and Hobbiton!

Great spot and nice and warm

Rachael was an exceptional host. We were in town for a family bereavement which Rachael picked up on and had flowers waiting for us upon arrival with a touching note. The home was just fabulous to come back to and relax. I made an error in booking, getting the dates wrong. Rachael was so understanding and went the extra mile to refund a nights accommodation and followed up to make sure we found a place for the second night. The kind gestures from Rachael were so appreciated by our family.

We absolutely loved our stay. Nathan was incredibly welcoming and allowed us to use his place for our small wedding ceremony. It was the most amazing day and we really enjoyed our entire stay. Thanks again Nathan!! We will always remember this beautiful space that we held our special day at. ☺️

Easy to work with the landlady as we were a very late notice booking, and very accommodating for extension if required. Highly recommended.

had a lovely quick stay here to break up the long road trip we were on. Kids loved the pool and the location is an easy drive to everywhere in Hamilton. Beds were super comfy! recommended!

Loved this treehouse of home!

I'll start with the problems, most of which are to do with 7 70 year olds booking and staying for 3 days. Had problems with the website, all mine, until I rang Doug. It was easy from there. The cost was a little over 100 per person per day. We all greed that that was cheap, especially considering the facilities. We had a bedroom each and the dining table for 8 easily seated 10. It's a big place and the dust can get in downstairs if doors are left open. The kitchen was clean and tidy rather than pristine and that was the pattern for the rest of the stay. I went from doubtful to "I'd recommend this place". Thanks again, Douglas

This was an absolutely great stay — a perfect space to come and relax after a hard day. The location is ideal: close to town, yet peaceful and quiet. The service was impeccable; any question I had was answered immediately. I would definitely recommend this place — it's great value for money. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

We had a fantastic stay at Fleur’s Raglan home! Everything was thoughtfully provided, and Fleur’s instructions were clear and easy to follow. The house itself exceeded our expectations—more spacious and inviting than the photos, with comfortable beds and spotless rooms and bathrooms. The only small downside was the number of flies in the living area, and we couldn't find any fly spray on hand. Aside from that, everything was great. Overall, we loved our Easter weekend getaway and really appreciated the warm, well-kept space. Thanks again, Fleur!

Such a beautiful place to stay for our family weekend in Raglan. The house was very spacious and clean, with great amenities. We appreciated the welcome chocolate, lovely milk in the fridge, and loved the decor. Very comfortable. We liked the arty mugs so much that we bought some for ourselves from the local pottery. We loved our stay at Frida’s Cottage. It was quiet & peaceful with a fantastic view of the mountains and sea. The cottage is tastefully furnished and nicely decorated with ambient lighting. Well equipped kitchen and spotless bathroom. High quality bed linen and a very comfortable bed. Loved the treats! Would definitely recommend. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

Bibi’s place is truly a home away from home, as much as it is a peaceful retreat. The bed was so comfy and the whole space just so soothing! We enjoyed numerous home cooked meals prepared in the well equipped kitchen, some on the lovely patio overlooking the estuary, others in the cosy sun filled dining nook. There are many great books to read and art to look at throughout the space. Hardly anything can top starting every new day with a cup of foamy espresso, while watching the estuary come to life - the fog clouds slowly lifting from the rolling hills, the sun kissing your face, the birds singing.. There is a path leading from the road down to the estuary, and just a short walk along the shore away is the wharf with some great spots for coffee, fresh fish, leather goods and ceramics. We had our bikes, so reaching the town center took us less than 10 minutes from the house! I could go on and on… Bibi’s place is just magical :)

Great locations, cosy and comfortable house, views are breathtaking from inside and on the deck. We really enjoyed reading and relaxing on the deck with sunshine and ocean views. The spa also on the deck was a special treat and we enjoyed walking on the beach just 2mins from house. Would recommend as a great location near the gorgeous town of Raglan and the nearby surf beaches.

This house was nice and cute—a great choice for dog-friendly accommodation with my family. The people in Raglan were very friendly. However, there was one slightly ironic aspect about the rubbish. While I paid for both the stay and cleaning, we were required to take all our rubbish with us and dispose of it 10 km out of town. I understand the need to keep the place tidy, but I think some customers might find this a bit inconvenient. That said, it was still a good spot for a family trip.

Absolutely beautiful sea view spot for my sisters and me to gather! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the location. The feel of the home was so relaxing—the perfect escape we were looking for. A special mention must go to the top-quality linens on the beds, which added an extra touch of comfort and luxury. A brilliantly designed, well appointed home - perfect for our family group of three couples and children. The house feels and looks clean, is stocked with everything you need and is located perfectly along the waters edge. We walked into raglan village for a drink, also took the short drive down to the beautiful surf beach and also the wharf. Alastair was very understanding, flexible and responsive. Loved our time in raglan and hope to be back again sometime.
