House is wonderful with clean, open spaces! Plenty of backyard space. I really enjoyed the enclosed porch and hubby enjoyed the covered dock. Windy weather was not very cooperative, but still caught some fish. Jessica is an Awesome Hostess! She is super attentive and responsive. She provided suggestions and answered questions. Really enjoyed relaxing at her house! Can't wait to go back! Definitely recommend this Airbnb lake front property!

Absolutely loved it . The lake was beautiful, the house looked perfect, very clean , looked exactly like the pictures , Muoi was super friendly . Love Muoi’s place and will definitely come back soon !!!

The home was great, absolutely stellar host and I would encourage anyone to stay here! But this trip was just about fishing so I have a few comments that might help others if bank fishing is your primary goal. If you're looking to catch smaller fish for eating, then this location is ideal. The pier that extends out to the water is both a huge positive and a potential negative. It allows you to cast out further if you want to, but unfortunately since it's right in the middle of your fishing area, fish can easily swim into the legs of the pier and get wrapped around the pier legs with the line potentially getting snagged or broke. I lost an incredibly large fish due to the long pier, but it was still an incredible experience to have such a large fish on the line. There is no doubt, if the pier was not there this would be a premier location to bank fish Lake Tawakoni. When I come back, I may bring a boat. :)

Overall we had a good stay, Check in and out instructions were clear, beautiful property on the lake, however the dock advertised in the listing is nothing like it is in pictures…. It is unusable because of the amount of spiders that call it home I’m sure it maybe hard to stay on top of keeping them out of the dock but necessary for full use of the property as advertised.

Our family stayed at the Lazy 8 for a weekend getaway. It was delightful. The house was cute, clean and perfect for the weekend. A wonderful charcuterie board was in the refrigerator for our arrival and it was delicious! We grilled out, relaxed on the porch, played games and watched deer graze on the property. The guys went fishing and the girls went to the drive thru safari! It was a blast. We look forward to planning our next stay here.

Fantastic stay for a wedding weekend! Was very comfortable for 3 couples. We all had our own bathroom and a great living and dining area to accommodate all of us. Liz was very responsive and you can tell she is a host that goes the extra mile! Would recommend for anyone in East Texas.

I'm an owner of a Moving business in Memphis, TN. When I have a large crew working out of town, we enjoy being able to getting them a house to sleep comfortably in after driving long hours and to get a good night's sleep before loading/unloading furniture the next day. Donna's house was a peaceful place for our crew to do just that. Our crew was only there for 1 afternoon and night. They left 1st thing in the morning. I did like that Donna makes checking in and checking out extremely easy as this makes it not only easy for my crew but me as well. Highly recommend, at least for short stays as that's the only experience we are able to speak on. Thank you Donna for providing my crew with a clean, comfy, and spacious home for them to get a good night's sleep.

Betsy was extremely quick with responses and very helpful! Think of the place as a small, but very cozy and humble abode with everything you need! If you want some peace from the hustle and bustle of the big cities, then this is the place to be! The balcony is perfect for night-time reminiscing and storytelling 📖 It's definitely a bonus if you like hearing the nature that surrounds you. Betsy was even kind enough to let us overstay a little for our checkout time since no one had reserved the place the following day yet. While me and my partner were still prompt on leaving in a timely manner, the offer left us not feeling rushed to get our butts out of there. This was an especially pleasant feeling when it came to having to pack everything up to leave. ☺️ Haha. Would definitely come here again! Heck, my girlfriend is practically begging to come back here again, she enjoyed it all so much xD

We were very pleased with our 6 night stay. Our GPS took us right there but we were also given clear written directions. Any questions we had were promptly answered . The apartment complex borders on the city park which gave us privacy and a quiet environment . Our little dog had a great area to have daily walks. The apartment looked just like the pictures and had all the comforts of home. We really liked having a laundry available to us in the building as well. We could continue our travels with clean clothes. That was so convenient. We had a great stay . We highly recommend this Airbnb.

My wife and I spent the night of our wedding here. It was perfect! Robert went above and beyond and accommodated my request to make the room special including adding flowers, champagne, matching bride/groom flutes, bath bombs, and rose petals to the balloon and flower covered bed. 10/10 would recommend.

This is a perfect little guest house, very clean, lots of amenities to choose from. Host responded within 10-15 minutes when needed. Great location, easy to find and a short distance to town and First Monday Grounds. Highly recommend H&J Guesthouse.

Next door to a motel that is about the same price with better amenities.

Such a cute place and nice to split up a small group for privacy purposes. 10/10 will be using them in the future.

It was perfect for our quick weekend to Tyler for a baseball tournament. The pool was very convenient on our off time when it was hot. Very quiet complex and it was very nice being able to bring our dog with us.

To say the least… the very best thing about this place is Mrs Erica! She was always very responsive to messages and always helpful!! She is a rock star trying to help make your experience staying with her the absolute best experience possible!! The rec hall and pool area was a hit with my family!!! You won’t be disappointed.

Lake Fork Getaways was a wonderful experience. We rented all 4 lodges, the big house, and the sunrise suite for a family reunion. What fun! Every part of the property is beautifully appointed, and the rec room, fire pit, and pool are total bonuses. We will definitely come back here.

My "host", Erica, was way above the normal host I encounter throughout the year. I stay in 40 ABBs annually and Erica was amazing..... I will be BACK and look forward to returning! This time, I plan to slow down from a busy fishing schedule.....
