Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Rainy Lake

Beautiful, well-maintained house, spacious, very functional kitchen with all the basics, big and clean grill. We will definitely consider it for our stay in the future

My husband, my 3 boys, and I stayed at the Birch House for a week. My husband and 2 oldest boys fished in Ely for the week. It wasn’t too far from their fishing location. The baby and I stayed and relaxed in the house all week! It was supper comfy and the baby loved bathing in the walk in shower. He had plenty of room to roam and do what baby’s do. The house was squeaky clean when we got there and the host were supper friendly and easy to communicate with! 10/10! Would recommend and would stay there again!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful log cabin. Everything was neat and spotless. The location is quiet and peaceful. Our only wish is that there is a cleared path to the riverbank.

This was a great place for my family and my sister‘s family to meet for a wedding. There was plenty of room for everybody, a wonderful space for the kids in the basement, and a huge backyard.

We enjoyed our stay over. The price is very reasonable and the house is well stocked with mostly everything you could need. The sauna and air hockey table were awesome for spending some time with friends. We would definitely book again.

The hosts were very accommodating, easy check in and check out. Felt like we were on our own island. Great fishing around!

Beth’s place was a wonderful little break for us. The lake and surroundings were peaceful and beautiful and the cabin was the perfect spot for my busy family of 6! The tree swing and hammocks were a huge hit with my kids and we even braved a canoe ride with a few of them. 😂 We loved sitting out at the fire at nights and having fun s’mores. Beth was super responsive and very accommodating and had some great recommendations for fishing and local places to visit. House was very well stocked, with extras in the kitchen and bedrooms and she even had rain jackets we could use if needed! We will definitely come stay again!

Great place. Very close to where I come to town to work. Has everything you’ll need. Nice and warm. Usually quiet but if the upstairs neighbors are movin around you’re definitely gonna hear them. Otherwise it’s perfect!

The Deer Lake Apt was very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed taking our boat out on the lake. The host was very accommodating and friendly. So nice to find dog friendly places to stay. Our dogs were very happy and content there.

Sweet little place to stay! It is as described. We enjoyed the hot tub and the views of Lake Superior.

Great place for me to stay while I was in the area for 2½ weeks. Quiet and convenient and great communication!

Debbie's place was very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. It's a great location - walkable to restaurants and shops, and close to the Bear and Wolf centers and close to hiking trails. We would highly recommend!

The condo was well stocked with items necessary for a rental. It is convenient to many areas of interest and it provides a lot of amenities. Pool, sauna, hot tub, pool table, ping pong, and areas outdoors for sitting or exploring. Owner was very quick to respond to messages. Great place with plenty of sleeping areas. Owner also provided ideas for dining and for things to do. Highly recommend!

We were passing through Kenora for work and ended up staying two nights at Serena’s place! We enjoyed our evenings in the beauty that is the backyard, on the dock, and on the lake itself! Wish we were able to stay longer, thanks Serena for the great place to stay!

Heather and Barry are very friendly, easy to contact and attentive. Cabin 7 is exactly as pictured. The view from the cabin and the private dock are beautiful. I really appreciate the care put into the cabin and grounds. We had a great stay!

We loved our stay at Anne and Daryl’s place. It was a cozy get away for our family of 4 and my parents. The cabin was very well kept with everything you could need. It is close to the town of Ely with great restaurants and things to do like hiking the Falls or the wolf/bear center. We were able to dock our pontoon and explore the lake which was gorgeous. 5/5 experience!

Great cabin with access to the lake, nearby gas/bait on the water and a fish cleaning station in the boat house. Would recommend to anyone!

This is a wonderful off grid get away. We did a winter trip and pulled sleds with skis. Brought in water, coffee, and food. Made fires in the stoves for heat, and had a couple great saunas with cold plunges in the lake. Everything required work which is what my group was looking for. Wood to split, fires to feed, and lanterns to see at night. Close enough to ski back to the car and head to Ely anytime we wanted. Would recommend for unplugging from the busy world. Still had cell service if needed, but we stayed on airplane mode for the most part.

Stopped for one night on the way West. Wish we could have stayed longer! Lovely cabin, exactly as described. Beautiful location and conveniently close to the highway (you wouldn’t know based on how quiet it is). Would absolutely return and book more than one night.

We stayed at John's place in the winter, and it exceeded our expectations. The place was clean and well-stocked. Running the log stove and sauna were a must, as they were the only way to stay warm. We saw a wolf and many other wildlife during our stay. Snowshoeing on the nearby lakes were a highlight. The trails marked by Dave were easy to follow, along with the maps they provided. If you are looking for a peaceful trip surrounded by nature, you found the right place! Thanks to John and Dave for being so helpful and responsive.

Accommodations we’re exactly what we we’re looking for and just as it was presented online. Cliff and Gail are terrific hosts and made sure we had “everything” we needed. They went above and beyond our expectations. We we’re delighted to be able to make our reservation for 2026 before we left. We will definitely be using their services in the future.
