We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Courtney’s place in Snowshoe! The location was perfect, offering easy access to the slopes and nearby amenities. The space was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Courtney was a wonderful host—responsive, accommodating, and thoughtful throughout our visit. We were there for five nights for a conference at the NRAO, he attended and I worked remotely from the home. The house was immaculate when we arrived. A nice welcome note and treats were left for us. I enjoyed the country air and hearing birdsongs while at work. The fresh strawberries sold at their little corner market were absolutely delicious! Would definitely stay here again.

We were looking for a peaceful, private getaway with amazing views for our cycling trip, and this location exceeded our expectations. The cottage was beautiful and cozy, with all the amenities we could possibly need. Our host checked in with us shortly after our arrival and was very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

Such a cute place! Had everything we needed and was convenient to the slopes. Loved that it was a ground level. We woke up to beautiful snowy views every morning and we even had deer come right up to our walkway from the woods a few times. We are so grateful it was available for our winter break! Thank you Vicki for having us.

Dave’s place did not disappoint. The unit was well stocked and left nothing to be desired. Dave was a wonderful host, and communication was excellent. Would love to return in winter hit the slopes.

This would be my second time staying at Rachel’s Airbnb in Elkins, WV and it was perfect! We had my daughter’s wedding for this stay and I rented both of her units in the same building to accommodate family. It was the perfect situation for us. The units are cute, colorful, nicely decorated, well equipped, clean, peaceful, convenient location, free parking, WiFi, some streaming services for TV, laundry in unit, spacious and quiet. Rachel is easy to work with and friendly. We will most likely stay again next time we are in West Virginia visiting family. Thank you Rachel! 😊

Exactly what we needed, just in town for a quick overnight and needed a place to crash with coffee, water, and a shower. Perfect for our needs.

This home is historic, and while it could use a little extra TLC here and there, it was such a lucky find! Located right next to the river, you can walk the trail that leads to the next town over, plus you can hear it at night when you step out. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware, and there are space heaters should you get cold at night. The vault was the best part about the house. It was converted into the bathroom, but it was very cool to see what it once looked like. I love peace and quiet and you get exactly that with this home. There are many parks nearby too! You have to go in town for groceries and restaurants, but fortunately it’s a short 5 min drive away. We got to chat with some of the locals and everyone is so kind and warm, It’s absolutely beautiful out here. Even the drives to and from are stunning. We stayed for a month and were very lucky that Emily and Sarah made it affordable to us. This was such a great find.

My son and I really enjoyed the stay in Sarah’s place. Easily walkable to the lift, just up the road from the village, and beautiful views from the from porch. Comfortable and quiet.

Visiting the area in May makes you feel like you’re visiting a ghost town. However, staying at this AirBNB gave you the coziness of a cabin with the privacy and comfort of knowing you’re not alone. We are so grateful for our hostess with supplying a delightfully cozy space with all the essentials for a weekend getaway away for two. We loved every minute of staying in and being unplugged from our work life.

I definitely enjoyed my stay. The condo was very clean, had everything I needed, and I had no issues during my month-long visit. Lindsey and Josh were very helpful and friendly hosts and I'd gladly return again in the future, thank you.

3 of us stayed at Laura's for a quick reunion on the slopes. It was a great find on relatively short notice, with easy access to the mountain. Laura was great at communicating with us prior to our arrival and her place was just exactly as described. I brought a cot for myself and the other two slept on the bed and the sofa bed. The fireplace was a great touch, and we had a fire going while we played board games and caught up before a day on the mountain. Her water was nice and hot, with all of us having plenty. The kitchen had the essentials and we really loved how the view went into the woods rather into a parking lot. We would highly recommend her place for any future visitors to Snowshoe!

Had a wonderful time at Snowshoe for the opening of summer season. The condo is conveniently located with shuttle service to Snowshoe village for all the activities and available dining. Condo was clean and cozy with a perfect view of the fireworks. Also, a short trip to enjoy both Cass scenic Railroad and Greenbank Observatory. Chris was immediately responsive when I had questions and even suggested the perfect spot to catch a beautiful sunset.
