Holiday rentals with lake access in Regional Municipality of Durham

This was without a doubt the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever been in! It was such a beautiful space. The view was unmatched and there was lots of room for all of us! We definitely plan on going back during summer months. May long weekend this year wasn’t warm and we would have loved to enjoy sitting out on that dock. Will definitely be returning!

Great place with a great view! There were a few hiccups with the place but an overall great rental. My only recommendation would be to treat the area for spiders as they congregated on the patios. Made sitting outside a little uncomfortable.

The Apt. is even better than described. All sorts of teas & coffee + pastas & cereal & more spices than a supermarket. The best shower I have ever had including all the high end hotels I have stayed at! Would return in a minute! Don

We had a great stay! The house was spotless and very well maintained. Having three full bathrooms was incredibly convenient for our group, and the hot tub was a perfect. Highly recommend this place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Really enjoyed our stay. Matt was very accommodating and communicative making our stay feel very smooth and simple. For cooking in or staying out all day coming back to the place was just nice and simple to go in and just relax. Just added to the relaxing atmosphere to have Matt proactively give us nearby recommendations to restaurants and fun attractions, how streamlined the entertainment system was inside and outside for viewing whatever we wanted, the drums and to talk to Matt and hear about the future plans to make the space even better. My recommendations currently would be making a path to the backyard so going to the hot tub and beach is more apparent, adding some form of light outside the main entrance for late night arrivals, and a place to put shoes and coats in the entrance area to avoid walking further inside and tracking dirt inside. Those recommendations aside really loved the space and definitely would stay again.

This place was lovely and exactly what we needed! Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, the beach is gorgeous, and the hosts are next level responsive and flexible. Highly recommend.

I had a very pleasant stay at Lisa’s place. The place was just like it was described. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed to cook my meals. Lisa was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again if I'm back in Bowmanville. Thanks again, Lisa!

I had an amazing stay. This is definitely the BEST Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Everything was organized and I felt right at home. Personal hygiene essentials were made available as well along with some snacks in the kitchen. I look forward to coming back for another stay.

Thank you for hosting me! I had a fantastic stay at Justine’s place. As someone who loves to cook it was fantastic having a full kitchen and meal prep space. Also being close to different transit stops was wonderful. I loved the location because after a busy day having fun in downtown, it’s great to return to the peace of the neighborhood where the place is located to relax with everything you need set up there. Looking forward to staying there next time I visit Toronto!

I absolutely loved this place. talk about a great location, it was. Will you hear noise from the street? yes, absolutely. Did it bother me? Not in the slightest. The property is spacious and really comfortable. Everything is needed was there. Jeffrey is awesome, very responsive and an absolute delight. Thank you.

This was a last minute reservation, the owner was very nice. Place is affordable and good location, the only recommendation I have is to try on not making too much noise in the morning, people woke us up at 5-6am both morning we spent there. But other than that the place was perfect.

What a beautiful place in a beautiful neighborhood! My in laws stayed here after we welcomed our baby boy. Jennifer was so responsive and offered a gorgeous place with clear instructions and great recommendations for the area. Would recommend this place to everyone.

This is the second time staying with Marie and I have nothing but good things to say. It was wonderful. Marie is very fast at responding and very helpful. It’s worth the price and a lot cheaper than other places. It’s clean and has everything you would need. Definitely a new spot I would keep coming back to.

My family and I stayed at Ashley’s cottage for three weeks during home renovations and had such a great experience! The place was so clean and beautiful, it genuinely felt like home to us. Ashley went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and comfortable. We couldn’t ask for a better host!

The house was spotless and the garden was absolutely lovely. Both we and our dog had a wonderful time during our stay. We always bring our own sheets to Airbnb stays, but we couldn’t help noticing how fresh and clean the ones here smelled — that was a really nice touch. Many of the things we brought with us were already available in the house, which made everything so convenient. Hot water was always available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The garden was peaceful, filled only with the sounds of birds and frogs — it was truly relaxing to just listen to nature. Getting away from Toronto for a few days was exactly what we needed. Before we arrived, Dylan had kindly left firewood out in the yard for us — that was such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it. As a suggestion, the double bed could use some improvement — it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the mosquitoes were really intense; despite using repellent, we were bitten all over. What a great place! We had 11 people. 6 adults and 5 children. There were beds for everyone and because the weather was crap (totally not Byron’s fault - LOL) we were inside most of the weekend. There was enough space and internet bandwidth to keep everyone happy and engaged! Everything was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed! Hope to rent this next year for family fun weekend!

Lorraine’s creek cottage was to say the least AMAZING, i had gone up with majority kids and the nice open space of the home and the backyard was great for them to run around and play! her communication was amazing & responses times were almost instant! 10/10 HIGHLY recommend staying here we tried to extend our stay but the next lucky people booked it! i will definitely be back! your pretty much a 10 minute drive from anything you would need! Her home was beautiful , and very very cozy! Thank you so much again!!

Great place for large family

The weather didn't cooperate but the sauna and the comfy couch made it a great time!

Had a wonderful annual weekend away with all my girlfriends! Although the weather didn’t cooperate for the whole weekend, there was tons of room and games inside to keep us entertained. The covered back deck and hot tub were great too to let us get outside a bit. Will definitely be booking again hopefully when the sun is out and can enjoy the dock and fire pit! Overall a beautiful spacious place for 10 people to enjoy and very clean too.

Marian was super great with responding to questions, and she was proactive with providing other information. The house was well-furnished and very comfortable.
