Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Rendang

It’s hard to put into words how wonderful our stay was. This was a big trip for my grandmothers 89th bday. Six women and a baby traveling from the US. Chika did above and beyond helping find the best restaurants, spa’s, shopping, drivers, temple’s…etc The home is absolutely stunning with so many personal touches. The backyard view with the pool is exactly what you want when visiting Bali. Her staff was the sweetest, breakfast was delicious. I would absolutely book here again and recommended to anyone going. We are so grateful to have been able to stay here and experience Ubud’s beauty.

Such a beautiful boutique resort, with incredible views of Gunung Agung, two amazing infinity pools, and a very nice part which is adults only. A lot of on site amenities (gym, pools, badminton) and plenty of activities to do around (treks, bike rides, etc). The rooms were beautifully designed, private, comfortable, spacious and well thought out (big shout out to the architect/designer for this!). The staff were always attentive, friendly and proactive. The overall experience was amazing and would come back again. The only negative was that we visited right during Idul Adha (muslim holidays), and the three mosques nearby were very loud and also started at 4am. The resort does provide earplugs, and this was literally the only negative comment. But aside from this, I can not recommend this place highly enough to those wishing to see the real Bali out east!

Great host, beautiful place! It was a very nice stay overall. Host Manik was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We loved the two adorable cats Happy and Lili who were very well behaved and affectionate. Expect about 3-5 minutes of walking from the car park to the villa. It’s a nice tranquil walk off the beaten path passing by a garden, but it may be slightly inconvenient with toddlers or wheelchairs. But overall I still highly recommend this villa.

The villa is beautiful to stay in. It had a very peaceful vibe, eye catching art and beautiful balinese furnishings, in amongst the rice fields. Very clean. A perfect spot to stay at, away from the hustle and bustle of what is Ubud is now. Agustin (house manager) and housekeeping staff were so attentive, helpful and friendly. They delivered some groceries (and beer!), organise drivers and bikes for us. Communication was no problem. They made our stay there so easy! At the street address there is no sign (that we could read anyway) to know that you are there. The house is hidden at the back in the fields so you need to follow the small path down, to the right, then up the 2nd to the left. Turn left at the path T intersection at the top. Though the lovely housekeeper ended up finding us and escorted us with our bags up to the villa. I loved watching the fieldman shoo gaggles of ducks into new paddocks. Beautiful sunrises 🥰

Great stay in this superb villa that offers a friendly space and a magnificent view of terraced rice fields. Impeccable service from all the staff. We recommend this villa to anyone looking for a quality home, far from the hustle and bustle of CANGGU without being too far away...

What to say about this place? Have you ever dreamed of staying in a fantasy-like tiny home overlooking rice terraces, mountains in the distance, and rolling green hills? Well if you have this is the right place for you. The attention to detail and creative aesthetic touch is what initially drew me to book my weekend-get away with my wife here and the pictures did not disappoint. As soon as we got there I could not stop looking around and admiring the art, the colors, and the general feel of the place. The biggest question I had while staying here was "When will we get to come back?" I would highly recommend booking a trip here!

We couldn’t have dreamed for a better place to stay. It rained a lot during our stay & we were a group of 9, but the luxury & facilities of the villa meant the rain didn’t matter. There is a massage pavilion (which I must have missed from the description) & you can order massage therapists IN!! Definite recommend. Before we arrived, the bridge between the villa & Ubud was damaged, but we could still get food delivered, & we could get local drivers to take us to & from Ubud, winding through the narrow, but beautiful streets of local villages (30 mins to Ubud). But the true MVPs of this villa were Tom & Putu, our breakfast chefs & housekeepers. Shandy was away, but they kept the villa clean & tidy, always asked our permission to clean bedrooms or have other staff (pool/garden) come in, loved a chat, gave us great insight into the local culture & the local people & events, they cooked SPECTACULAR breakfasts for us, & even did grocery runs for us before they finished for the day! ⭐️⭐️⭐

Besides having the absolute best and most comfortable bed out of any Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at, the place is so cute and cozy. The out door layout of the kitchen/patio makes the place feel really big. Walkable location to downtown Ubud, overall the place is perfect for long and short term stays. The hosts are also so kind and responsive, they brought me fresh fruit twice which was completely unexpected and appreciated . I would be back in a heart beat.

Had the best time at AIR. The apartment is so much bigger than expected and really comfortable. The location is great for the centre of Ubud while being out of the way enough to also be quiet. But by far the best thing was the interaction with other guests and the community vibe AIR has - breakfast conversations and evening hang outs (while feeling totally at ease being able to have my own space when needed). Whether you’re a creative or not, this place felt so welcoming.

This is amazing place) Host is kind, polite and attentive. Every our messages were answered fast. We have good regular cleaning. This house is located 15 min from the beach, and there is a calm atmosphere. Moreover, we had beautiful view to the mountains. I can highly recommend this place for staying!

Our stay with Ning and Michael has been absolutely amazing. They are both extremely accommodating and welcoming as hosts. the Property is beautiful, and has everything you could need for a long or short stay. We loved it so much we extended out stay 3 times. Would give it 10 stars if i could! we will definitely be booking with them again. daily cleaning, privacy, quiet area, great restaurants in the area, and numerous areas to relax made it a 10/10 stay. Nyoman is a very caring and cool host. I came to Ubud for the first time, but I was so happy. He cleaned right away and accepted feedback right away. And he always tried to communicate with me and gave me a lot of information. He’s a very honest man to know. There will be good accommodation and delicious food. I’ll be back next year. Although our stay was super short, Made and his family made us feel so welcome! He’s amazing, helpful, accommodating, kind and overall amazing person! We wish we could have enjoyed the amenities longer! Definitely on our list to visit again! It is a short walk to get to the property, highly suggest luggage you can carry (no roller suit cases unless you can carry it by hand). Everything is as listed, food was delicious, the welcome drink made us feel so special since it is our honeymoon trip. If you like to see more of the local side of Bali, breathtaking views of rice terraces, amazing hospitality, then this is your place!

It's a beautiful place to stay. The bathroom is amazing to be out in nature. All the staff are very nice. It's a little difficult to find the entrance at first, but we got help with that as well. I highly recommend this hotel.

Harumi is a super attentive host! He was always smiley and helpful anytime I needed anything. I loved the area where is located, (definitely less busy than Canggu center), and loved the pool area where I could swim most of my days ☺️ I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who travels solo or with their partner! If I’m back in Bali I wouldn’t hesitate to book my stay here again.

Great view, better in person than in the pictures. The area is extremely quiet, great for if you want pure tranquility but can be a hassle if you are wanting to do things. The property itself is nice it is exactly like the pictures, I had a furry guest the entire visit which was nice. The lads keeping things moving at the properly do a great job, more than excellent they are probably the reason I gave the property 5 stars instead of 4. Happy with the place, would recommend stockpiling any food you need too as shops round there are limited which is understandable and if you are there for the volcano hike/drive make sure you organise getting to the main road and transport there as I found out the hard way. This is a truly special place we’ll never forget. We’ve traveled a lot, but never stayed in such a unique home. It’s not about traditional comfort — it’s about the atmosphere of total silence, nature, and solitude. The house is set deep in the rice fields and jungle, with no one around — only the sounds of nature. Nights can feel a bit scary, but mornings are pure bliss. The pool is filled with natural spring water — no chemicals, just cold, clean freshness. We spent the whole day swimming, even though we usually avoid hotel pools. The architecture of the house is incredible — it makes you feel deeply connected to nature and yourself. And a special thank you to the host — so kind and welcoming. He helped us light a fire and set up a cozy BBQ evening. We’ll remember this experience for a long time.

Staying with Frances and Adi was just great. Their team is amazing. And the accommodation including the whole surroundings made it so easy to come down and relax. Simply Paradies. It’s super private and the surrounding nature is stunning. Loved the brand new pool and all their helpful recommendations for restaurants. Also we learned about Balinese culture from them! Probably our favourite part about staying with them. Definitely would come back.

We were warmly welcomed. Although we arrived late, we got authentic jungle food that was very tasty. We had a very nice time and the mud ceremony was a special experience.
