The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Good location for day trips to Snæfellsnes and the Golden Circle. During the winter time is a good chance of seeing the Northern lights (Aurora Borealis).

Only 10 km drive from city center and 3km away from grocery store. Only a 30 minute drive to the national park Þingvellir. This comfortable guesthouse is only 50 km from keflavík airport. Golden circle road is a couple minutes away.
