Very spacious home in a wonderful neighborhood surrounded by picturesque views! Only 20 mins from Reykjavik. Host was super helpful keeping in contact throughout our stay.

Great farm house experience. The highlight was definitely the interaction with the farm animals. The three dogs were so cute! The location is perfect, very close to the black beach. Highly recommend!

amazing place and amazing hosts. we had a great time there. we were lucky to spot northern lights on our arrival. tent was heated and with heated beds. kitchen was equipped with all necessity. bathrooms were plenty and clean. Definitely coming back again.

We are sorry that we could have not stayed longer because doing some green work would be fun for us. Also the beds were very comfortable.

We traveled with an infant and since no one was using the place the day before, Hildur allowed us to come straight from our flight! It was so incredibly nice of them and my daughter appreciated the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Overall, the place is beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible review. Words cannot fully express what a wonderful time we had at Ragga’s cabin. The location absolutely cannot be beat. Close to Reykjavik and the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, lakeside with a sauna and hot tub overlooking an incredible view. Every morning we started our day with an espresso in the sauna and a soak in the tub, then headed out on an adventure. Also very close to the Hvammsvik hot springs which were nothing short of magical. Thank you for providing a perfect home base for a wonderful trip, Ragga and family!

Really comfortable cabin in an exceptional location with fantastic view. If you enjoy Scandinavian style comfort and solitude in a scenic lakeside setting then this is the place. Everything was as described, very easy to find with the precise satnav directions from the hosts. The sauna, hot tub and decking chairs overlooking the lake are a real plus. Ivar was a responsive host. Nearest town for shops and restaurants is approx 25 min drive. Be aware that the wooden steps leading down to the cabin from the parking place are quite steep and with no handrail.

What a cute cottage, it was a great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. A beautiful view of the ocean from the sea wall and a wonderful restaurant within walking distance.

We stayed wishing to catch the Northern Lights and we were lucky enough to do so each night and be there for a huge solar storm. We ventured out the first night and after that realized we were able to stay comfy at our airbnb and see them both in the front yard and backyard. The house was spacious and our children 7 & 1 loved the books and toys available. We were offered a portable crib and high chair which were convenient. There were plenty of novels for adults and a variety of books on Iceland. There is a washer and large drying rack, dishwasher, and full kitchen which was wonderful since it is a serene spot you can relax and not run down the road 15 minutes for food or coffee. I enjoyed walking the road to the church and admiring the horses next door. The location is remote and going to parks or the city required an hour drive. Our host was gracious and extended our check out which was helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

Gudrun’s home is really lovely. We travelled with little kids and is perfect for families seeking a comfortable and memorable stay. With a well equipped kitchen, it’s easy to prepare home-cooked meals, while the open living spaces offer plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind. Thoughtful touches, cozy decor, and essentials including crib, washer/dryer, private parking make it an ideal place. The home is a quick drive to the town of Selfoss , and practical location to explore the south coast. The only downside is that there is a cemetery across from the house, but overall a great home. Gudrun is a great host - friendly, responsive, and checked in if we needed anything during our stay. This was the perfect stay for our family and would definitely recommend.

This cottage has a wonderful view of the lake. It was very comfortable for four adults and a toddler. We were at peace listening to nature and watching the lake. The host was very communicative and helpful. The location is very close to the Golden Circle's must-see locations. The closest town was an 8-minute drive and had great local restaurants. I highly recommend this stay.

If you are looking to stay near the National Park and enjoy a private, incredibly quite relaxing trip, this is the most amazing choice. For us this home was the perfect space, incredible design, stunning views with impeccable lighting. We needed to rest and relax while exploring the vast landscape of Iceland and this was beyond perfect. We will absolutely be back.

C'était une première expérience pour nous en caravane. Nous avons ADORÉ! David est tout simplement parfait. Il nous a tout bien expliqué le fonctionnement de la caravane. Il nous a aussi donné des conseils sur les sites touristiques à voir. Nous avons beaucoup aimé parcourir l'Islande avec notre mini-maison!

Wir, eine Gruppe von 7 Personen, durften eine ganze Woche das Club House und das umliegende Anwesen des Hvammsvik Spa genießen. Das Club House ist eines von 5 Häusern und bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten und vieles mehr! Die Lage ist unbeschreiblich, es ist einfach ein Traum! Alles war richtig sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bei jedem Wetter urgemütlich. Die Schlafzimmer waren allesamt mit sehr guten Betten, Kissen und Bademänteln ausgestattet. Die Bäder sehr sauber und mit allem Zubehör bestückt (Handtücher, Toilettenpapier, Body wash, Shampoo etc.) Am Morgen ist der Blick aus dem Fenster einfach wunderbar und am Abend tanzen die Nordlichter am Himmel! Noch nie haben wir so tolle Nordlichter gesehen. Das Hvammsvik Spa ist unweit vom Haus entfernt und es ist ein Juwel. Mein Mann und ich waren zum 19. mal in Island, lieben dieses wunderschöne Land und haben stets tolle Unterkünfte bewohnt… aber dieser Ort, dieses Club House ist etwas ganz besonderes. 💙❤️

House was wonderful and very cozy. Only problem was with google maps and apple maps - it told us to turn off one or two roads early. But the house numbers are marked on a sign post for each division and easy to figure out.
