Welcome to the Middle Ages! The Martinsburg is one of the few castles in the Middle Rhine Valley that has never been destroyed. Here, the building structure is actually centuries old. We carefully renovated the room of the gatekeeper, approx. 50 m2, and approached today's needs with shower and toilet. However, you must climb 45 steps before you can settle down comfortably. In good weather, you can also linger in the flower corner in the castle courtyard or explore the castle park on the Rhine.

Du wirst die friedliche Umgebung dieser gemütlichen Unterkunft nicht so schnell vergessen.😇 Was von außen wie eine Ruine aussieht, wird von innen jeden verzaubern der sich dafür interessiert und sich darauf einlässt. Geschichte zum anfassen und in jeder Ecke etwas zu entdecken. Am Abend könnt ihr Euch dann ins California Kingsize Bett fallen lassen und von Rittern und Sagen träumen. Bitte bedenkt, dass es sich bei der Burg um ein altes Gemäuer ohne Heizung handelt.

Arenfels Castle is located in the middle of the vineyards. The forest, vineyards and the Rhine invite you to walk and hike. The town center is within walking distance in 15 minutes. Bonn and Koblenz are a 30-minute drive away. But you can also get to Cologne/Bonn and Koblenz in half an hour by train.

East wing in the winery & castle F. v. Landenberg

Our Weinschlösschen Freiherr von Landenberg is a medieval winery on even older foundations. In these historic walls we offer three units. The east wing with the lovely bay window consists of an extraordinarily spacious bedroom with a 2x2 m box spring bed and a sofa bed. Opposite is a bathroom with an English bath, walk-in shower and toilet. In addition, there is 1 double room, also with a box spring bed and an en-suite bathroom (shower+toilet).
