Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rio Arriba County

The Earth ship was exactly as described but even cooler and more beautiful surroundings in person. I will be recommending this spot to friends and hope to return myself.

The house is charming, with beautiful decor and everything you need for a comfortable stay. While it doesn’t have air conditioning, it was a bit warm at night for us, even with the windows open. The coffee provided was fantastic, and Kris was quick to respond to any questions. The location is excellent—just 5 minutes from white water rafting and about 45 minutes from some of the best hot air ballooning in the U.S. As avid runners, we found there weren’t any nearby jogging routes, but there are plenty of short hikes to enjoy instead.

Spectacular location with the scenery and peaceful surroundings. We loved the hot tub, watching the sunsets! Make sure you bring your food supplies since you are a way from any grocery store, but the remoteness is part of the appeal of this home. We spent a wonderful day at the Ghost Ranch and another touring Georgia O’Keefe’s home in Abiquiu, an amazing part of New Mexico, and to be so comfortable at this home was quite a treat!

Gorgeous spot on the river. Screened in porch is lovely. Great bird watching and star gazing. We felt very lucky to be there for the weekend.

It may be a little far from downtown Santa Fe, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet and evenings out on the porch watching the sunset over the valley. The well equipped kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. A lovely house with many beautiful hand crafted personal touches.

Very nice and private Casita in a peaceful valley. Easy to fall in love with the spot. And just great hosts. I can only wish I can get back once.

Michael is a great host and a kind human, and the house and property are amazing. My kids loved playing around the garden with our dog and everyone felt immediately at home. Thank you for the great memories and I hope we can come back one day!

We really enjoyed our stay at Grandma’s Ol’ House. It was very conveniently located to the wedding we were in town to attend. It is very homey and had everything we needed for our stay with our two young children. Loretta was proactive and responsive in her communications. She had a great recommendation for a place nearby for a beautiful walk.

We really enjoyed our stay in Jeff's old mill house. It's an excellent location in Taos, just off the Plaza, and walking distance to pretty much everything we wanted to do in town. We were there for a concert in Kit Carson Park, so it was especially nice to be able to leave our car in a dedicated spot rather than deal with the crowds all looking to park nearby. We would highly recommend staying with Jeff if you're going to Taos, and will almost certainly will again!

We certainly enjoyed our stay and the location was ideal with a quick walk to the plaza, John Dunn Shops and our favorite restaurant, La Cueva. The place was clean, simply appointed, and met all of our needs. We enjoyed hearing the background noise of kids playing baseball on the backside of Kit Carson Park

Great little hideaway in a super scenic spot. Clean, Robban was super responsive and gave me local suggestions, and was flexible with check in and check out time! Perfect for my solo getaway!

Very cute casita and easy access to Taos or areas North. We stayed for two weeks and felt right at home; the bed was comfortable and ample amenities throughout. Page was a wonderful host.

There are not enough words or a high enough rating system to describe my experience with Michael and the place he provided for my stay!!!! It was truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had from the communication, the friendliness, professionalism, recommendations, accommodations, scenic views, and just the awesomeness of my time there! This was a cozy, quiet and clean suite that was perfect for a weekend getaway. Loved the quiet neighborhood and walking to the local (very busy) coffee shop. Off the main road but close to everything!

We had a lovely stay at Anita's Casa Loretta. The apartment was decorated beautifully and everything was so clean and comfortable! We were able to walk everywhere from her quiet neighborhood - it felt like a peaceful oasis. Anita and her son Laurence were extremely friendly and welcoming. We would love to stay there again the next time we come to Taos.

This house is in a beautiful place tucked into a mountain community. Lovely view of the mountains with a space to be outside and enjoy the sun and the flowers. Peaceful, comfortable, and verdant.

Cozy, great location to the plaza, great kitchen with all we needed! Also so great to have a hot tub after a day on the slopes!

The condo is in a very quiet and peaceful area of town. It was roomy, comfortable and clean.

WE love this little place and the complex. This is our second stay here. Convenient skiing, lots of shops in Taos, great music venues. good restaurants. What more could you want!

We had a great stay in this condo. We walked into town daily it was so close to shops and to the concert we were attending We will book it again

My wife and I took our two little dogs with us for a weekend get away. The Condo was stocked was well stocked with dog friendly accessories from food and water bowls to treats to a leash and poop bags. Delightful back porch to grill and relax. Good access to the river. And just so peaceful overall.

Cozy and close to the Plaza We spent a wonderful week in this Taos Airbnb! The location and price couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the Plaza, shops, and restaurants, but still quiet and peaceful. The space was comfortable, clean, and felt like a home away from home. Perfect for exploring all that Taos has to offer. Highly recommend!

I was so comfortable. The sheets on the bed were awesome. The bed was also extremely comfortable. There were so many little things that she thought of there for my convenience. I would definitely stay there again
