Guest house

Recently renovated, retaining its traditional rustic charm - the perfect place to relax and unwind. It has its own entrance, kitchen, dining and living room space with original stone Charantais fireplace and a bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The large windows take advantage of the stunning countryside views and spectacular sunrises. If you are a fan of wildlife you will not be disappointed with regular visitors of deer, red squirrels, migrating cranes and a favourite of ours, the hoopoe.

The Dronne River is a stone's throw away (fishing spots, canoeing, swimming), the charming and unusual village of Aubeterre is 20 minutes away (underground church to discover), many places to visit within a close radius that we will be happy to share with you. 1 hour from Bordeaux, Périgueux, Bergerac and less than 1 hour from Angoulême.

Located in the South Charente region, Chez Gabard invites you to stay in a charming cottage for 4 people with a swimming pool and surrounded by a large, carefully maintained park. Nestled within a historic mansion, this peaceful retreat offers an ideal setting for a rural family escape and relaxation. The cottage has two bedrooms, a living room with equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a private garden. You'll also have access to outdoor spaces: swimming pool, jacuzzi, and park.

La Belle Maison is a Beautiful Charentaise country house built around 1850. 2 very spacious bedrooms with oak floors and amazing views of the rolling hills of the beautiful countryside. Downstairs there is a large fully equipped kitchen diner. The spacious lounge has oak flooring. There is a downstairs cloakroom. Free fibre wi fi. large private terrace and garden. Bed linen is provided. Guests are asked to provide their own towels, unless flying and case space is short.

Aménagement intérieur confortable, adapté aussi bien pour des séjours courts que pour des séjours longs. Homestay Bellevue is perfectly exposed and enjoys a splendid view, from sunrise to sunset, over the Dronne Valley. The 3*** outdoor accommodation is located on the garden level of a contemporary house with a separate entrance and access to the garden. The accommodation includes a large bedroom with bathroom, kitchen and covered and uncovered terrace overlooking the garden. A truly quiet, cozy and comfortable nest. Accommodation without living room or TV.

Private pond with 2 islets for fishing, boating... Our horses live peacefully on the estate.
