Sonka Resort’s Mirror Houses are set by a frozen lake, surrounded by forest and open sky. Each cabin has a mirrored exterior for privacy, a lake-view glass wall, double bed, sofa bed, kitchenette, bathroom, Wi-Fi, and a projector screen. Local breakfast is available on request with at least three days’ notice. With several BBQ kotas on the premises, guests can enjoy outdoor cooking anytime. Igloo saunas and hot tubs are available to book. A quiet Lapland escape under the northern lights.

Mummolatunnelmaa lähellä Aavasaksanvaaraa Ruotsin rajan läheisyydessä. Hyvin varustettu 50-luvun viihtyisä rintamamiestyylinen talo. Talossa on pirtti, jossa hyvin varusteltu keittiö, yksi makuuhuone ja saunaosasto. Talon saunaosastolla on kamari, jossa yöpymismahdollisuus ja erittäin hyvä puulämmitteinen sauna. Saunasiipi on rakennettu 70-luvulla ja saunan ja pesuhuoneen pintoja on uusittu keväällä 2023. Nukkumapaikkoja max. 5:lle yöpyjälle. Koiravieraat ovat myös tervetulleita lisämaksusta

Welcome to our cozy lakeside cottage with private sauna on the Arctic Circle, a warm retreat where Nordic simplicity meets soulful comfort. Set on 2.7 ha of private land with direct access to Lake Miekojärvi, it’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and feel again. We are Joakim from Sweden and Jenny from Germany. We fell in love with the stillness and beauty of Arctic Finland, and we’re excited to share our cottage, and a little piece of that magic, with guests from around the world.

Modern Holiday House in Lapland

A brand new wooden holiday house isituated in small village 60km from Rovaniemi and 40km from the Swedish border. There is a big lake close to the cottage, pineforest and cross country skiing & hiking possibilities. The house is well equipped and modern. This is a good holiday house for families with children. There are two bedrooms, a balcony for sleeping, living room with one bed, sofas, dining table and kitchen, bathroom and sauna. You will see reindeer sometimes close to the house.

Talossa on neljä erillistä makuuhuonetta, iso olohuone, keittiö, ruokatila, kaksi vessaa ja suihkutila, jonka yhteydessä on puulämmitteinen sauna. Iso takapiha on aidattu, joten lemmikit voivat juoksennella vapaasti. Venerantaan ja Ylitornion hienoille hiekkarannoille on matkaa vain noin 1 km. Ainiovaaran upeat hiihto- ja ulkoilumaastot sijaitsevat lähettyvillä. Aavasaksan laskettelurinteille on noin 15 km matka.

Situated near the river, the Swedish border is just across the water, allowing for a seamless journey into Sweden, perhaps via the ice road. The absence of unnecessary lights around provides the perfect setting for observing the Northern Lights. Tervetuloa kokemaan Lapin taikaa – luonnon rauhaa, revontulia ja joen läheisyyttä. Villa Poikkilahti on tunnelmallinen mökki neljälle hengelle, vain noin 50 metrin päässä Tornionjoesta. Mökiltä johtaa tie rantaan joka on vain teidän käytössänne. Joki on hiekkapohjainen . Talvella mökin vieressä on pitkä pulkkamäki sekä hiihtolatu Jos etsit aitoa Lapin mökkielämystä, omaa rantaa ja elämyksellisiä revontuli-iltoja ja talvisia aktiviteetteja-tämä on paikkasi❤️
