Enjoy a peaceful and private stay at Cartlodge cabin. The property is situated in a secluded part of our garden approximately 22 meters from the main house, with stunning views onto a beautiful field and Wardlaw Mausoleum (Outlander) We are just 1 mile from the NC500 route, 8 miles from Inverness,, 4 miles from the the pretty little village of Beauly. There is an hourly bus service that runs from kirkhill which can take you to both places. Achnagairn castle is just a 5 minute walk away.

The Cabin

The Cabin is a self catering one room chalet that contains 2 single beds, table, chairs, armchairs and a kitchen. An enclosed bathroom with shower, toilet and sink is included. Water is provided by the Cromdale hills via filtration system. The Cabin is fully insulated and heated for a cosy environment. Entertainment consists of TV, video & bluetooth boom bar speaker. Placement of The Cabin is close to the back of the house which provides privacy for guests. WiFi is available.

We are also a 25 minute drive from Inverness. This brand new dog friendly (maximum 2 dogs) location with outdoor space has quiet forestry walks on the doorstep.

Our modern guesthouse is situated in the quiet village of Kirkmichael. We are ideally positioned for you to explore the great outdoors, there are some wonderful walks right on the doorstep and we are within 25 minutes of the Cairngorms National Park, Glenshee, and Pitlochry. Our space (inside and out) is vegan so we ask you to respect our beliefs and the animals that reside here and not to bring or consume any animal products on our property.

Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.
