Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Rockport

This was our first trip to Maine's Mid-Coast and we fell in love! This home was in the perfect location! Very close by to Owl's Head, Rockland, Camden and Port Clyde! We were all able to spread out and feel at home. We even cooked fresh Maine lobsters and steamers (end of Dec) we got from Jess's! in the kitchen. The little ones loved the fun games in the lower-level! We'll most definitely be back!

Despite rain everyday, we enjoyed our stay very much. We are 3 women in our 60's and appreciated having our own rooms. We were out alot, but always felt comfortable when we returned. The home is so close to Rockland and the wonderful restaurants. We are sure if the weather was better, we would have enjoyed the water view so much more. Was skeptical about cleanliness due to the fact that animals are allowed. But to our surprise, the home was extremely clean. Would never know animals had been inside. And for those traveling with animals, there is a very nice fenced area for your pet. We traveled to Maine for a Celebration of Life for a family member. The home is located right next to a cemetery, but found that ironically comforting as our Family name was featured on one of the primary headstones. And, on the day of the Celebration, we were visited by a red cardinal sitting on the rail of the deck. It didn't linger long, long enough for each of us to see it. Would stay here again!!

Simply magical! Cozy and fun space. We enjoyed watching eagles and ospreys fish, seals pop their heads up, and even an adorable family of foxes from the comfort of the living room! Kitchen had all necessities for cooking most meals at home. A nice trail for walking down the road and an awesome beach where the kids threw stones and searched for seaglass each afternoon. We were all sad to leave!

Wonderful stay - great location, with a beautiful garden to enjoy meals outside. Kind, considerate, and helpful host.

We had two nights to spend in Maine after a week long trip to Quebec. The lake house was a wonderful place to unwind after our busy trip to Canada. We spent our full day parked in the yard, enjoying the boats provided, reading, playing bags, and just sunning. It was a gorgeous day, and we loved it. The house is spacious, very well-stocked, and has many little amenities to make it feel like home. Highly recommend!

fantastic stay. clean and well equipped. the lake is even more beautiful than the pictures! Roman was very responsive and went above and beyond in providing helpful information about the area and place.

Jeremy and Ellen are fantastic hosts. Very communicative during booking and prior to arrival with suggestions of what to do (we were travelling from the UK). We stayed for 16 nights and the house felt like home - it has everything you need. Absolutely fantastic place to stay and we really recommend it.

My husband and in-laws and I and our two dogs stayed for a long MDW. The weather did not cooperate but did not hinder us. Especially staying at this Airbnb on the beautiful Oxbow Brewing property. In fact the coziness of the space made a rainy day even more fun. We were visiting for the racetrack and location was excellent for privacy and also close to local attractions. Wish we had more of a group to experience the space with us, it was really special!

We felt right at home at the Open Hearth Inn. Arthur and his team were very friendly and helpful. The inn is stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay, including snacks and treats for both humans and pups. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub when we weren’t hiking in Acadia. Definitely a great experience!

Pam’s place was so spacious but cozy, warm, clean and so welcoming. Pam was also friendly and quick to respond. We were lucky her place was available when we booked ☺️

We really enjoyed our stay at April’s private river retreat house. The apartment was very clean with lots of amenities. The travel toiletries were a nice surprise. We were about a 30 minute drive from Bar Harbor but it took close to an hour to get to some trailheads in Acadia NP. The weather got hot during our stay and April had her husband come to put the window AC in for us which was appreciated. Our only complaint was slow response time from the host during our stay and difficulty finding the driveway upon initial arrival. Google maps said the house was 3 doors closer on the road than it actually was. We would love to come back in the future!

Such a cute place to stay near Bar Harbor and Acadia! The dogs were adorable! Perfect place to stay after a long day of exploring.

This Airbnb was exactly as listed. Everything is updated, very clean, and comfortable. Jordana was very responsive and accommodating. I would stay here again.

The place was amazing, such a great find! The hosts laid out check-in and check-out instructions very clearly and offered an abundance of amenities to make our stay more enjoyable. They offered toiletries, tide pods, cooking spices, coffee, books- the list could really go on and on. It really felt like a home away from home! Thank you to our wonderful hosts, we hope to visit again!!

Great location as it it right on the Main Street - walkable to various restaraunt and shops. Would love to stay here again.

So peaceful but off season. So not sure how it would be with lots of traffic and people. But the private deck and entrance was wonderful. The water view couldn’t have been more up close and personal with the beautiful harbor. The place was clean and cozy. Perfect lighting. Didn’t watch tv once. A convenient common room for extra supplies or a cup of coffee. Staff was very friendly when we were checking out. No front desk attendant and none needed. They answer messages quickly!

A beautiful rustic cabin in an amazing spot. Lori is a great host and is always near in her farmhouse to communicate and get you what you need. Appleton is not far from Camden / Rockland but has that rustic getaway feel. The option of adding a wonderful soak in the hot tub, wood fired sauna, massage and breakfast are available as well. I’ll be back next year! Thank you for everything, Lori!

We have stayed at Jackies place twice now and enjoyed it just as much this time as the last. Even though it rained for two days the house is plenty big enough to spread out. We had to change our reservation days twice because of circumstances and Jackie was very accomidating..

This was my second time staying at Terrill’s place and it was just as lovely as I remembered! It’s such a peaceful place, surrounded by natural beauty, to relax and unwind. I’ll definitely be back again!

Our stay at Kate’s cabin was amazing. The cabin is gorgeous and it’s like a treasure hunt looking at all the artwork around the home! The views are immaculate and there is so much privacy. Kate was so kind and responsive. We really loved our stay and would definitely book again on our next trip to Maine!

We had an excellent stay. The view of the river from the dining table was beautiful. Sitting out by the fire relaxing was great. We enjoyed sitting on the small bench at the river while our pup ran around us. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Looking forward to booking again. Jon and Teresa are excellent hosts. Very responsive and have the cabin very well stocked and immaculate.

Elizabeth was amazing to deal with & very quick to reply whenever I had a question or issue. The cabin was cosey but very adequate for what we needed. I loved the location in a beautiful leafy quite and private setting. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Trailside Cabin.

We stayed at the Roxie cabin. The cabin itself was wonderful. The cabin was well stocked with anything you may need from playing cards to bug spray. We threw axes then took one of the canoes out and enjoyed the peaceful pond. Pizza making was definitely a highlight of the evening. I’d definitely recommend staying.

AMAZING spot for a weekend getaway! Had a great time and the place was fantastic!
