Beachfront holiday rentals in Rocky Mountains

This was our home base for the HOH rainforest. The forest was about 2 hrs away. The place is gorgeous, we didn't want to leave. We could have stayed all week and found so many things to do locally. The windows were large and we were right on the ocean. The dishes were cute, there was a wine opener (which was key). It was quiet safe, the waves were so loud (very cool), our patio was cute. There was electricity! Just a few lights and outlets to still have a glamping feel without being on the screen all day. The bed and sheets were so comfortable. Some mistakes I made. 1. Get groceries in Sequim or Port Angeles. We stopped at a tiny market and were very limited then saw a whole store! 2. A lot of places weren't open after 8, so plan for dinner ahead. 3. We thought we had to get there because it would be so dark, but in the summer we should have not hurried, there was plenty of light even when the sun was gone.

Very cozy and sweet. Loved looking out the slider doors. Fairies were very quiet. Stephen greeted us upon arrival. We had a friendly chat. Somehow I missed the fact that there was no parking on the property and it was a bit of a walk from the unloading zone. We brought aaffordable wagon which saved our bacon. Because we parked in the park-and-ride down the street we felt like we needed to empty the whole car. We were very happy in this space.

We had a wonderful two days at the cabin! Everything was just as described and so relaxing. Brian was very attentive and responded to us when needed promptly. It was a great time and we will be back!!

Absolutely gorgeous house and location! Looked exactly like the photos. We took advantage of the oysters right in back of the house and cooked them in the oven for a delicious dinner. The hot tub was the perfect place to watch the sunset. Lots of beautiful wildlife, including birds, fish, and seals that swam right up to the dock! Kayaks were another excellent feature. Overall, the perfect place to spend our honeymoon!

Such a beautiful place and location. The beach walk and view of the mountain as well was beautiful. Lots of nice details and oyster shell like ceramic art was very cool. Communication was so easy.

Carlo was a great host in every way. His beautiful property came right out of a dream that left me feeling relaxed and refreshed after days away from the daily grind. Lots of fantastic hikes for any skill level nearby, fun town things to do within 1 hour drive, and the most breath taking views everywhere! we will definately be back!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is super cozy and we felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Everything was absolutely spotless and I mean not a single crumb in a drawer spotless!-I’d say the cleanest Airbnb we’ve visited. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything you could need. The beds were super comfy with very nice sheeting. The deck and view are AMAZING!! We’ve stayed at 10 or more waterfront Airbnbs on Whidbey and this definitely has the best view. Finally the hosts were lovely- proactive, easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We highly recommend!!!

Our second stay, and just as wonderful as last time. The views are unbeatable, and the ability to walk to the lodge is an amazing benefit (I loved being able to grab a coffee there in the morning, or knowing I could have a few drinks and walk home!). Beds were comfy. To note, the blinds in the rooms aren’t blackout so the mornings are bright — but ideally you’re up then anyways to enjoy the gorgeous views!

This place was nothing short of amazing. My husband and I went for our honeymoon and the view itself was worth what we paid. Very short drive or even walk to downtown and ponderosa state park! We loved our stay and we had no questions the hosts were just that clear!!! Recommending to all friends and family!

We had a wonderful stay! The views from the living room and master bedroom were spectacular and the sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub and we had fun using the BBQ for an evening dinner. We will definitely be back!

Very nice, clean and large condo. It’s right in the middle of town ( in a good way), so you can walk to restaurants or drive if you prefer. The mattress and couch were extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the sunset views were spectacular! There is private beach stairs for the building, be advised that staying here involves a lot of stairs ( up to the condo or down to the beach), so bring some good shoes and a sweater. We loved the condo and would definitely return.

Jason’s place is even better than described, Sea Ranch is a serene beautiful environment and the home blends right into it. Inside feels like a true home with all the amenities, high quality finishes and attention to detail throughout. The views are even better you can see the ocean from almost every room in the house, the sunsets are incredible. The kitchen is well stocked with seasonings we cooked dinner all 4 nights of our stay. The cedar hot tub was perfect and the stars at night were amazing. It’s just 5 minutes to the lodge if you want to grab a bite to eat for breakfast, or 10 minutes to Gualala if you need to grab something from the store. You can walk right from the house along the ocean and to smugglers. Don’t miss an opportunity to stay here for the best Sea Ranch experience

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway here! Kitchen had everything we needed to make our own meals. The outdoor space is gorgeous. We enjoyed the hot tub each night and the pool during the day. Shelly was always very quick to respond with any questions!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our host was incredibly accommodating .we arrived a bit earlier than planned, and he made sure we could check in early, which was such a relief after a long trip! The apartment itself was absolutely stunning ,the views were amazing, and it was so cozy that we honestly didn’t even want to leave. Everything was super clean and welcoming. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby, so it’s really convenient. The host was always responsive and helpful with any questions we had, which made our stay even better. We absolutely loved our time here! 🌟

What a beautiful location! From early sunrise quiet times with coffee to sunset dinners on the patio, everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Quiet, comfortable, thoughtfully- and well-appointed. I would, without hesitation, return for a future stay.

MaryAnn and Phill, From a warm greeting and inviting food/beverages arranged for us to the lovely coastal environment, this appealing and compact unit was a perfect landing spot to launch our busy weekend. The decor is both coastal and very personal inviting time to linger. Extra sweatshirts, towels, water and snacks were thoughtful touches. Wow! the pictures do not do this gem justice. The unit is down a few steps on a dock that sits above the beach. The area is tidal so half the time there is a beautiful beach to stroll and the other half the water, 10' below your deck, is lapping at the bulkhead. we slept with the slider open and truly enjoyed the peace and calm that the area provided. We ususally eat out on our excursions but the unit was so wounderful we made breakfast each morning and enjoyed it on the deck. Town is 10 min away and is the perfect place for many options for dinner. We will most definitely be back to enjoy the peace this unit provides.

Our stay at Discovery Bay Lookout was an absolute dream—one of our favorite Airbnbs to date, and we travel often! The location is perfect if you’re looking to reconnect with nature. It felt secluded and peaceful, yet was just a short drive to groceries and restaurants. The cabin is magical—beautifully designed, warm, and thoughtfully organized. We loved cooking in the kitchen, reading in cozy nooks, and soaking in the hot tub and sauna while taking in the views. We traveled with two small kids, and Virginia went above and beyond by providing a high chair, toddler dishes, and so many thoughtful touches throughout. Her hospitality truly set this stay apart. We left feeling inspired and dreaming of owning a place like this one day. Until then, we hope to return. Don’t hesitate to book—just be sure to take great care of this special place so others can enjoy it too.

We had the most amazing weekend! This Airbnb truly has it all. The kitchen is fully stocked with beautiful appliances, the landscaping is pristine, and the cabin design is thoughtfully curated for a peaceful retreat by the river. I was genuinely sad to leave. The hosts go above and beyond to ensure guests have everything they need to fully enjoy this idyllic setting. I went with a group of friends, and we were all impressed by how well-maintained the space was. It's clear the hosts are experts at providing a top-notch experience. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is amazing! I loved that it was like staying at a friend's house - it had so much character. Not boring and staged like a hotel. There wasn't an "owner's closet" like most rentals. Jess is a beautiful soul that shares her amazing space and genuinely wants you to enjoy every minute. From the decor to the records, hammock, outdoor tub, kayaks, exploring the low tide wildlife...everything brought peace and relaxation. We never even turned on the television...it was magical!

This is a beautiful location with beautiful light throughout the day. Cozy, comfortable, worth it!
