Nearby there are several attractive sights, such as Svartisen, Corbels canyon in Lacho National Park, Bolga, Rødøy, etc. Search up "visit Meløy", "Meløy adventure", "Bolga Brygge" for info. The cabin is located approximately 200 meters from "Åmnes farm" where you can purchase farm products and hit the animals. Child friendly with nature as a playground. Good hiking areas and fishing opportunities nearby. Here you can enjoy the midnight sun, the sea and mountains.

At Stia you can stay in scenic and quiet surroundings overlooking fjords and mountains. Here you can enjoy silence under the starry sky and northern lights, or simply have lazy days at the beach "Stia" which is located just below the cabin. Værangveien

Small house with two bedrooms in idyllic Værangfjord, all the way in the north of Helgeland. The house has two bedrooms with three beds: two 120 beds and a 90 bed. Small kitchenette, with necessary equipment. It is about 1 mile from the shop and ferry dock south, here you can also take a ferry out into our archipelago where you will find among other things Rødøyløva and Lyngvågen café( known from "where no one should tru ". The area has many hiking trails, fishing and kayaking opportunities.

Lille Herstrand - A unique seaside getaway

Lille Herstrand is an eldorado for nature lovers. With beaches and a sauna with views of the Northern Lights and Midnight Sun, you can enjoy a unique stay with us. We include kayaks in the rental and offer boat rental. There are several attractive fishing spots nearby. Indoors, you can enjoy the comfortable slate floor with underfloor heating and the fireplace in the living room. From the mountains you can see the archipelago, the ice cap and all the way to Lofoten. You are welcome!

BOLGA, a remote IDYLL N of the ARCTIC CIRCLE

Bolga is a beautiful island on the Helgeland coast with approx 85 friendly inhabitants, a grocery store and a tavern. Exciting conditions for hiking, climbing, bouldering, kayaking, diving, seakiting, fishing and foraging. The cottage is situated in the south-west corner, 2 km easy walking from the harbour. Daily connection with the mainland by ferry or local boat to/from Ørnes and express boat to/from Bodø/Sandnessjøen. You may observe the amazing Northern Light from September.

Short way to the store and ferry rental/speed boat dock for island hopping. The cabin has most of the amenities and has good standards. Enjoy the summer relaxed with good food, nice sunset and memorable walks high and low! Don't hesitate to ask about hiking tips or anything else you might have questions about!

Svartisen Northern light

Welcome to Svartisen Northern light. The cabin is located by the seaside and has a private dock. You can also find a telescope inside the cabin, and during the winter this is the place to observe the Northern lights when the sky is clear. The boat to Svartisen are approximately 400 m away from the cabin, so this is a perfect place to start glacier hiking. If you like fishing there is fishing gear available.

Midtgården

House centrally located on Gjerøy in beautiful Rødøy. It's just a few minutes from the sea and the guest jetty. The house is originally from the early 1900s but has upgraded all the amenities. It's great for families or a weekend with friends. There is a large garden and good sun conditions. Possible to borrow kayak, bike etc on request. 15m ² balcony in the sun wall.
