Engen Gård -The main house, Svartisen Engenbreen Meløy

Engen Gård is located in Holandsfjorden, northern part of the Helgeland coast, at Fv 17 between Halsa and Glomfjord in Meløy municipality. The farm is idyllically located just by the Engenbreen glacier which is a slow pace of Svartisen, and with spectacular views of the fjord and the glacier. The place is rented as self-service, preferably a minimum of 4 days. The farm is reached by the shuttle boat that runs from the parking/bus stop at Fv 17 to Svartisen (10 min.), with departures mostly every hour of the day during the summer season.

Nice view from most rooms. Spacious terrace and large lawn. The house is newly renovated in its original 50-60s style, focusing on the environment and reuse. Sandy beach and the sea is just nearby. We have wild and beautiful nature around us on all sides, and bright summer nights as well as winter storms can be enjoyed here.

We include kayaks in the rental and offer boat rental. There are several attractive fishing spots nearby. Indoors, you can enjoy the comfortable slate floor with underfloor heating and the fireplace in the living room. The apartment has an amazing view, with the famous Helgelandsfjellet Hestmand in the city center. It is located right by the sea and is a great starting point for island hopping and hikes. The sofa in the living room is also possible to turn out to the sofa bed, so there is room for 6 guests.
