Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rogil

Wir und unser kleiner Sohn haben uns rundum wohl und zuhause hier gefühlt. Heike und Klaus sind herzliche, offene (aber dennoch unaufdringliche) Gastgebende, die uns super nett empfangen haben und immer verfügbar waren, wenn wir etwas brauchten. Haus und Grundstück sind noch schöner, als die Bilder erahnen lassen! Ein großer Pluspunkt für uns war, dass es im Haus dank Ofenwärme und Luftentfeuchtern im regenreichen März trotzdem gemütlich trocken und warm war, während es in anderen Unterkünften in der Gegend klamm war und wir gefroren haben. Wir haben es genossen, aus dem Fenster ins blühende Grün zu schauen, auf der Terrasse in der Sonne zu sitzen, den wunderschönen Garten und die umliegende Natur zu erkunden - pure portugiesische Land-Idylle und genau das Richtige, wenn man Ruhe und Entspannung sucht. Aljezur, Odeceixe und Traumstrände sind mit dem Auto auch schnell erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können die Unterkunft (besonders mit Kindern) nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Bernardo was an amazing host! We truly had a wonderful time at Bernardo’s place – we loved everything about it. The lighting, especially the brick-style lamps, was really unique and added a special touch. His place is also equipped with everything you need for a relaxed and hassle-free holiday. Aljezur was the perfect base for exploring the area between Aljezur, Lagos, and Sagres. The town itself also offers plenty of shopping options as well as some excellent restaurants, bakeries, and cafés. Communication with Bernardo was super easy, and he was proactive in making sure we had a pleasant stay. We can truly recommend him and his place!

Pedro's place was perfect. The master loft upstairs is so roomy and lovely. Look no further for your perfect stay in Rogil!!!

Wir waren zu dritt (Eltern mit 17-jähriger Tochter) bei Ricardo. Dafür war die Unterkunft super geöffnet und ausreichend groß. Alles war wie beschrieben da, Ausstattung war sehr gut. Strandtuch und Sonnenschirm waren auch da! auch der kleine Laden direkt gegenüber war sehr gut für die wichtigsten Einkäufe des Tages. Leider war etwas viel Verkehr am Haus vorbei und damit ziemlich laut (auch nachts bei offenem Fenster), was aber offensichtlich daran liegt, dass eine wichtige Umgehungsstraße gerade gesperrt ist. Aber dafür kann Ricardo ja nichts.

Vielen Dank Claudio und Sofie für die sehr schöne Beherbergung. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft liegt super praktisch sowohl um die nahegelegenen Strände und Natur zu erkunden, als auch abends fußläufig gut essen bzw. etwas trinken zu gehen. Claudio und Sofie waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns tolle Tipps gegeben. Von uns eine klare Empfehlung!

Absolutely stunning location, absolutely nothing default, the only thing I would say is if you have mobility issues both the walkway up to the property and the stairs to the mezzanine bedroom could be a little bit challenging especially if you’ve had a few drinks, we are in our 60s and generally fitso it was no problem for us.

Wir haben Ende Mai einen 10-tätigen Urlaub hier verbringen dürfen. Die Unterkunft liegt (zusammen mit 2 Nachbarwohnungen links und rechts) ruhig abgelegen, ringsherum befinden sich nur Felder, keine anderen Häuser in der unmittelbaren Umgebung, es gibt Schafe und ein Kätzchen - ein absoluter Traum! Fernanda brachte uns frische, leckere Erdbeeren aus eigener Ernte. Die Kommunikation lief jederzeit einwandfrei. Ein wundervoller naturbelassener Strand mit tollen Klippen ist mit den Auto „direkt um die Ecke“ und im dort angrenzenden Fluss konnten wir sogar baden und Kayak fahren. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind bombastisch. 10 Minuten von der Unterkunft entfernt liegt der Ort Rogil, wo das traditionelle, portugiesische Dessert „Pastel de Batata Doce“ (köstlich!!!!) seinen Ursprung hat. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Lediglich die Abluft im fensterlosen Bad könnte besser funktionieren. Tolle Anlage mit der Möglichkeit auch zum Pool zu gehen. Der Strand ist schnell zu erreichen, ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt! Gerne wieder 😊

Nos encantó el alojamiento de Ricardo, es tal cual las imágenes, estaba impecable y muy acogedor, con todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable, aire acondicionado, utensilios de cocina, champú, etc. Buena ubicación, en un complejo tranquilo pero muy cerca del centro en coche y con fácil aparcamiento. Ricardo en todo momento fue muy comunicativo y atento.

Es war absolut wundervoll bei Leslie. Die Wohnung war super schön und wirklich riesig. Die Lage ist absolut traumhaft: total ruhig gelegen in einem Tal mit kleinem Dorf nebenan. Ein riesiges Grundstück mit jeder Menge Sachen zu entdecken. Auch für Kinder einfach genial. Überall gibt es was zu klettern, zu schaukeln oder ein Trampolin zum hüpfen. In der Unterkunft selber gab es Spielzeug und alles was man für einen Strandausflug braucht: Schirm, schaufeln, Eimer usw. Leslie war unfassbar hilfsbereit und hat uns unter anderem super schnell ein Mückennetz zum aufhängen vorbei bringen lassen, da wir etwas Pech mit den Plagegeistern hatten. Wir werden sehr wahrscheinlich nochmal wieder kommen, weil es uns so gut gefallen hat. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

Tolle Unterkunft mit Swimmingpool und schöner privater Terrasse und Lounge, Ecke !! Oliver war immer präsent und hat proaktiv Ausflugstipps oder Empfehlungen für wunderschöne Strände gegeben. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und es gab ein kleines Begrüßung. Paket mit Kaffeekapseln und Tee. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig. Allerdings mindestens 30 Minuten Fußmarsch nach Luz oder Burgau an den Strand , in den Supermarkt oder schöne Restaurants.

Raquel is one of the most communicative and responsive hosts I’ve ever interacted with on Airbnb. The location of this home is unbelievable. I fell in love with Albufeira from the first few hours i was there, and couldn’t believe how well-situated this place was to all the fun the area has to offer. ACs and most amenities worked well. I’m not sure if it’s a design related to homes in that area, but the open bathroom in the master bedroom, including the shower design, seemed impractical. I needed to rearrange items in that area, and wipe the floor/toilet after every shower. The iron was unusable due to a stain on the ironing surface, and risk of damaging clothes. The washing machine was small and not very effective. We needed to do a lot of loads to clean our clothes, then air dry them, but glad we had a washer! Overall, this is a great place, Raquel’s a great host, and i recommend booking, for anyone visiting Albufeira. Great for 2 ppl, but could accommodate a couple more too. Enjoy!

Casa muito aconchegante, tinha todos os utensílios necessários na cozinha, casa completa, muito limpa e organizada. o local é muito peculiar marcado por algumas esculturas espalhadas pela região, uma verdadeira fulga da cidade. alguns restaurantes por perto e não muito longe de boas praias. pedimos berço e cadeira alta para nosso bebê, estava tudo lá muito bem limpo.

Super Kommunikation mit Pedro. Immer eine schnelle Antwort bekommen. Sehr leicht zu erreichen und gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Check-In war super einfach. Wir haben 6 Nächte in der Unterkunft verbracht. (Hätten auch gerne mehr verbracht) Es war alles vorhanden was man gebraucht hat. Besonders gut fanden wir die ruhige Umgebung. 3 Swimmingpools und ein kleine Kinder/Babybecken. Sehr schöner Strand. Die Unterkunft von Marco war richtig super. 9/10 Punkten - warum: Ich dachte laut den Fotos, dass es das Nachbarhaus ist mit Pool. Wir waren im ersten Stock und eigentlich bevorzuge ich mit meinem 5 jährigen Sohn eine Unterkunft im Erdgeschoss, dass war leider nicht ganz klar ersichtlich. Top war: nicht mal 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand, tolle Restaurants am Strand, teurer Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke. Die Wohnung ist super sauber und die Küche hat für Selbstversorger alles was man unbedingt braucht aber auch nicht mehr, kein Nudelsieb und auch keine Zitronenpresse, zB. Geschirr auch minimal von der Stückanzahl (6 Gläser). Marco und seine Mama sind super nett und hilfreich beim Check in, weiters haben wir sie nicht gebraucht, da es nicht unser erster Portugal Urlaub war. Preis-Leistung mit Pool top - kann man nichts ausschließen. Portimão super Lage mit Auto in 50 Minuten in Faro Flughafen und in 30 Minuten in Lagos. Liebe Grüße, Jessica & Family.

The property (we were there 18 nights) is actually located in Luz, not in Lagos, which is 3-4 miles away. That worked out well for us. Luz offers newer and larger accommodations for more reasonable prices than Lagos. We had a beautiful two bedroom penthouse with floor to ceiling windows offering great views of the Atlantic. The beach is a short walk. At night, it is quiet. A market is close by. There are a couple of good restaurants close by. The beach was nice and was actually more convenient than getting to the beach in Lagos. It was no problem getting to Lagos if you want to dine out. We had a car (10-15 minute drive) but taxis, Uber and public transportation is also available. We never met Ben, but he was very prompt in answering our every question. The apartment was clean, up to date and comfortable. We would stay there again.

Beautiful, art-filled, spacious apartment centrally located, with a charming terrace. We felt right at home. Definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic week in Elisa’s apartment, the view is beautiful! So lovely to see and hear the sea everyday. It’s a short walk into town with lots of great bars and restaurants, we also easily got parked nearby. Elisa was a great host, very responsive and I recommend reading her blog with loads of great recommendations for exploring the algarve. Thank you Elisa!

Wow!! What an amazing place! One of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed in! The photos don’t do it justice! So much nicer!! Super clean, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, fantastic rooftop terrace, and gorgeous beach views! The location is fantastic, literally a two minute walk to the beautiful Meia Praia beach. Carolina is so friendly and was super attentive during our stay! Highly recommend and will definitely be back soon!!

Anabela’s beach apartment is a real gem in a gem of a town. The view from the window of the apartment is gorgeous with waves crashing below. You can sit at the table watching the ocean. The apartment is also very well equipped and comfortable and is spotlessly clean. Anabela is a wonderful host. She is very friendly and accommodating – in short, she is a lovely person. I highly recommend her apartment and will definitely plan to return if we visit Portugal again.

We had a fantastic week at Anita’s apartment in Praia da Rocha. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome – Anita and Antonio had left a generous guest pack including ham, cheese, wine, milk, water, biscuits and crisps, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch after our journey. The apartment itself is bright, spotless, and has spectacular views across the beach – which, pleasantly, wasn’t too busy during our stay. The location is excellent, with a great selection of bars and restaurants just a short walk away. Anita and Antonio were outstanding hosts – friendly, responsive, and clearly committed to making sure their guests have everything they need. Their detailed information pack was really helpful, and they were always quick to answer any questions we had. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment – it’s a perfect base for a relaxing stay in Praia da Rocha. Thank you, Anita and Antonio, for your warm hospitality and kindness!

Carlota’s place is located in amazing Villa with beautiful surroundings! Amazing beaches to get to and her local recommendations were excellent ! The pool was great but unfortunately due to the weather it was a bit too cold to use and shower facilities were under construction. The only downside is the bed option, as described from the picture, the main bedroom is with 2 twin beds and a sofa bed. One big bed would’ve been more comfortable but breathtakingly beautiful view makes everything ok. We had some issue with laundry machine as it wasn’t in a good condition but we cleaned it and bought strong scent laundry detergent made it usable again! Wonderful memories from the beautiful landscape and activities and especial thanks to warm and heart full neighbor downstairs! Thank you again and it was a pleasant stay!
