We really loved getting back home, it was quiet, just like the photos and much more peaceful than the tourist areas. Tricia was the best with her recommendations and adding slight personal touches to the place. It had everything you would need, and the best part it is truly a bed and breakfast, loved meeting Tricia for breakfast and learning so much. If I visit again, which I plan to I would definitely want to stay here.

Christa’s place is everything you could ask for, for a rural stay. The room is super spacious and bathroom is immaculate, the bed is comfortable and huge!! The breakfast options are perfect with a large variety of things which is a major highlight and always stocked up, Christa also checks what you prefer to ensure it is always there. We loved our stay, she was super helpful with things to do and see as well as train/bus time tables. 100% recommend anyone who wants to stay here, we didn’t have a car and still found a lot of things to do and the local recommends were great. Public transport is super frequent as well as a quick 40 min walk through the countryside to a beautiful lake where you can swim and rent a boat. This definitely made our trip in Switzerland worth while and would definitely come back, on our last day Christa kindly dropped us off at the train station before our departure!

Laetitia is a welcoming host without being intrusive. She explained the different walks to take around her home. The accommodation is perfect, very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The independent kitchenette is perfect for making a small meal. And special mention for the hearty breakfast with excellent products! I recommend it 100%.

Yoko, Paolo, and their daughter were friendly and welcoming to their 400 year old home in Morcote. The attic room is spacious with its own living room besides bedroom. Steps from Morcote ferry, shops and restaurants, the location is ideal for ferry rides across Lake Lugano, exploring Morcote’s beautiful hilltop church with amazing views of the lake, and mountains of Lugano. Breakfast in the garden was a plus surrounded by Paolo’s garden and bonsais. Great chats and their local insights were spot on. Lovely stay and a joy to visit!

We had booked with breakfast. That was very good and only the finest. Good bread, butter, fresh milk and yogurt. Of course, cheese in one piece in different variations, plus a little ham. There were also three varieties of homemade jam. You could say it wasn't excessive, but it was high-quality and rich. This is how you start the day well. The apartment with its balcony was wonderfully quiet. You could relax and listen to the stream and nature.

I had great time staying at Claude’s place. It is up at the mountain and it has really great views of surrounding. Claude is always helpful and flexible, made my stay very relax and enjoyable. Thanks again and definitely recommend 👍

Luca and his family were extremely friendly, proactive and super helpful for recommendations! their property on top of a mountain close to the lago maggiore is absolutely beautiful, with amazing views on the lake! they take care of a lot of animals like dogs, cats, rabbits and even a donkey and a goat, which we found super sweet and which made the stay unforgettable. They also served breakfast in the morning, which was included in the price, which we didn’t expect, and which exceeded our expectations! all in all, our stay at Luca‘s place was very beautiful and we can definitely recommend it to couples, who are looking for a quiet and charming place in nature!

When I went up to the room, the room was on the top floor. The lights along the way turned on and off automatically. It was dark. I was afraid. I had to use my phone's light to find the door. It was a wooden house, so it was noisy when I walked. I was secretly afraid. I asked to move to a lower room, but there was none. I was kinder. My friends came to stay upstairs. I went for a walk after the rain. The view was beautiful. The fog came down. I didn't get tired from walking because the view was beautiful. The weather was cool. It made me less afraid of the bedroom. In the morning, I had breakfast. There was a lot. The service was good. I went out to travel around for 1 day and came back. I love this place. The room was clean. The view was beautiful. Everything was very clean and tidy. I like it. If I have a chance, I want to come back again. The apartment is very nice with a super view. Everything you need was there and the cake was very tasty. Paola is super nice, we would come back. Our dog was also welcome :)

Great location, loads of parking and shared space. Great rooms and a great breakfast. Just wish there was a bit more provision for a some light self catering but that was made clear in the description so fair enough. I’d recommend this place and would stay there again.

Perfect hosts and accommodation for exploring. I was a solo traveller and never felt alone. The atmosphere at breakfast was upbeat and chatty. The accommodation was immaculate. Sauna was a great bonus after a long day in the hills. All in all I would recommend this chalet and will definitely be back.

We were guests at Mäggy's for one night and felt very comfortable there. There are great information folders for the area in front of the rooms and a lot was also explained and shown. The rooms are well equipped, but we especially liked the outdoor area. A beautiful panorama and a great lounge invite you to sit back and enjoy the view. We would definitely recommend the accommodation and come back!

Beautiful house, the hostess is very enthusiastic, we forgot to order breakfast in advance, we only told the host when we arrived, the hostess also promised to help us prepare breakfast for the next day, super delicious.There are also beautiful gardens and cute puppies, and the hostess shared travel tips with us when we left.I'll stay a few more days if I come next time.
